Section 2 Mountain City Fog (1)

Since the announcement of the National Government's relocation to Chongqing, Chaotianmen Wharf has often been able to show off the show of government officials. At first, the central government led by Lin Sen was warmly welcomed by Chongqing citizens, but after a long time, citizens have become accustomed to it. However, the relocation of a large number of government agencies has brought about a large number of populations, resulting in the rise in prices of various living materials. Citizens began to complain, although this sound was not loud.

Ordinary Chongqing citizens were a little curious about these Xiajiang people. Seeing their family and their miserable appearance, Chongqing citizens enthusiastically stretched out their hands; but Chongqing people didn't know that these Xiajiang people were even more surprised by Chongqing.

Most of the people who fled to Chongqing were rich people in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Pingjin, and at least some of their property. There were also a large number of schools. The Resources Committee provided a special fund for the relocation of various universities. However, both the students of the school and the people of Shanghai and Nanjing who had seen the world were surprised by the vitality of the city. The streets were neat and orderly, and the people on the streets were rosy and optimistic. Beggars in various cities across the country were rarely seen here. Factory was everywhere, old factories and new factories were recruiting workers, so it was easy to find a job; the market was prosperous, and luxury goods in Shanghai and Nanjing could also be found here. All of this surprised the refugees from Chongqing who came to Xiajiang.

After the initial surprise passed, they soon felt that there were many cumbersome rules and regulations here. Soon after they lived there, people from the street came to ask them to register their ID cards and household registration. When looking for a job or studying, they were required to fill in their experiences. Every time the street held an event, street cadres would inform and mobilize each household.

After the Nanjing government moved to Chongqing, Li Zhilong felt that the number of social engagements increased significantly, and senior officials at all levels of government needed him to socialize. He was both excited and irritated by these things, and he vaguely felt that this was not good.

After the victory of Nanjing came, Chongqing fell into excitement and sadness. The excitement originated from the creation of the children of Sichuan, and sadness originated from huge casualties. Unlike other places, every family of the dead soldier here will receive a notice of death. From cities to villages, countless families are holding funerals. The Chongqing Municipal Government and the Southwest Development Team jointly invited the Sichuan-Tibet Temple and Mount Emei, as well as the Qingcheng Mountain Taoist Priests to hold a large-scale jurisprudence in Chongqing to mourn the dead heroes.

Lin Sen, Wu Zhihui, Dai Jitao, and Li Zhilong were the main reasons, but Wang Jingwei was different. During the Great Revolution, he had a good relationship with Wang Jingwei. Wang Jingwei was very kind to him. He was less than 30 years old and was appointed as the director of the Navy Bureau, and was in charge of the "national" navy. After the Zhongshan ship, he was depressed and unsuccessful until Wang Jingwei returned overseas and served as the chairman of the National Government. He was successful again. After the Wuhan July 15th Purge, he followed Zhuang Jihua's advice and took the initiative to leave the Wang Jingwei Group, but he still remembered Wang Jingwei's emphasis on him.

Wang Jingwei arrived in Chongqing after the festival. After the National Government withdrew from Nanjing, Wuhan became the national anti-Japanese war center. The main anti-Japanese groups and military members' associations in Wuhan were all in Wuhan, but Wang Jingwei moved to Chongqing with the Central Party Committee of the Kuomintang and the National Assembly. After arriving in Chongqing, Li Zhilong had a natural interaction with him. Wang Jingwei's official residence was in Shangqing Temple, facing each other across the river from the Southwest Development Team. Wang Jingwei often invited him to talk to each other. Li Zhilong was happy to attend the meeting every time, and Wang Jingwei often visited the Southwest Development Team.

"In the field, I have to work like Chongqing for ten years, so that this war of resistance will have hope." Wang Jingwei looked at the busy port opposite, and felt a little sad. He often fell into a disadvantage in the fight with Chiang Kai-shek over the years. The boy who lived up to his youth now has Huafa.

"Wang Sheng, we don't think so," Li Zhilong said tactfully. Opposite was the newly started Jiangbeicheng construction site, where a large arsenal and dock was planned to be built: "Although Japan is powerful, it is not impossible to defeat it. To be peaceful, it is OK, but it must be based on not damaging national sovereignty, otherwise peace is meaningless."

During this period, Li Zhilong communicated with Wang Jingwei. He understood his pessimism. So he tried his best to persuade him. During this period, he accompanied Wang Jingwei and Lin Sen and others to visit the steel factory, automobile factory, pharmaceutical factory, heavy artillery factory, etc. in the construction area. He also accompanied them to Chengdu to visit Liu Xiang. But these had a completely different impact on them. Lin Sen was greatly encouraged and believed that with these support, the War of Resistance could be fought; but Wang Jingwei was still unmoved and insisted on his pessimism.

"You?" Wang Jingwei looked at Li Long in confusion. He was wearing a white suit and was blowing under the wind. He suddenly felt like an immortal.

"Zaitian. Are we you and Zhuang Wenge?" Chen Bijun added on the side. She was wearing a red cotton robe with a white camellia embroidered on it. Handmade essence.

"It's not only the Cultural Revolution, but also the whole Southwest Development Team knew it in this way." Li Zhilong said seriously. This is the basic principle and will never be vague.

"Mr. Wang." Li Zhilong did not allow Wang Jingwei to ask questions and continued: "For this war, we have prepared for five years. We have built dozens of factories and dozens of mines. We have also discussed this war for five years.

We have reached a consensus. The Japanese launched this war and the fundamental country, Mr. Wang, is now talking about peace. The world is in chaos immediately."

"Otherwise, there are three consequences of the War of Resistance; war will lead to great defeat, harmony will lead to great chaos; second, harmony will lead to great chaos, war will lead to great disaster; third, war will lead to great defeat, harmony will not lead to great chaos." Zeng Zhongming, secretary of Wang Jingwei, sighed and said, "Now Pingjin is lost, Taiyuan is lost, Shanghai is lost, and even Nanjing is lost; war will lead to great defeat is already a fact; the second possibility does not exist, between the first and third types, I think harmony is not necessarily a great chaos."

Zeng Zhongming has a very strong relationship with Wang Jingwei. He has been with Wang Jingwei since he returned from France and has been advancing and retreating with Wang Jingwei several times. These three results are conclusions that have been found in low-key clubs, and Zeng Zhongming just repeats them.

"It's still Zhou Fohai can see clearly that Feng Yuxiang, the Communist Party of China's Gui clan, was just overthrowing Chiang under the banner of anti-Japanese war. Their purpose was to reorganize the anti-Japanese war and sing high-profile. Look at the Communist Party's war report, eliminate dozens and hundreds, and declare a great victory, and I blushed." Chen Bijun looked contemptuous.

There are only four of them in the living room of the Wang family. Chen Gongbo, Mei Siping and others are all in Wuhan. Chen Gongbo is also the director of the People's Training Department of the Base Camp.

"Although I am a Huangpu industry and have never led troops to fight, I still have some confidence in myself. In my opinion, the Cultural Revolution and General Jiang Baili are experts in this regard, and there are very few people in China who can outperform their superiors." Li Zhilong thought about it and said: "China and Japan have their own advantages and disadvantages. As long as we play to our strengths and avoid our weaknesses, we can win." Speaking of this, he looked at Wang Jingwei: "Sir, I followed the Prime Minister back then and sacrificed my life for the country and nation. How generous is it, but today is so pessimistic."

Wang Jingwei was concerned about Li Zhilong's words, but he just laughed at himself. In terms of this, he was obviously different from Chiang Kai-shek: "In the field, this is not a personal problem. How much pain this war brings to the people? Look, how many families in Chongqing are wearing mourning these days, and just Nanjing is like this. How many more will there be in the future? If it is my personal problem, it will not be a problem at all."

Li believed that Wang Jingwei never cared about fame and status. He had been breaking up with Chiang Kai-shek for so many years, but he never had any attachment to power.

"This is not something we can choose, life," Li Zhilong sighed: "Who is willing to fight? We don't want to fight, but now we have no choice. We all know the conditions proposed by the Japanese. This is not a condition of peace talks, but the conditions for the demise of the country, and it is to turn our China into their colony. Think about it, from September 18 to 128, to the Great Wall Anti-Japanese War, and the Lugou Bridge Incident, that one was initiated by us. That time we did not give in in the end, but the result was. The Japanese asked us to recognize Manchukuo this time, and should we recognize North China next time?

Li Long was a little excited at the end of his speech, and he waved his hand suddenly: "It is better to fight hard than to die in humiliation, and we will not be the ones who will lose."

Wang Jingwei was a little surprised by Li Zhilong's excitement, and looked at Li Zhilong with some disagreements. He knew the grudges between Li Zhilong and Chiang Kai-shek, but now he clearly agreed with Chiang Kai-shek's proposal, which made him a little puzzled.

"In the field, I think you are too deeply influenced by Zhuang's Cultural Revolution." Zeng Zhongming said calmly, his words reminded Wang Jingwei. Wang Jingwei sighed in his heart. He knew that he had ignored Zhuang's Cultural Revolution. How could Li Zhilong beside Zhuang Jihua in recent years, so how could he not be influenced by Zhuang Jihua? Unfortunately, Zhuang Jihua led troops to fight on the front line. If he could bring him to his own camp, there would be no doubt that he would have the ability to challenge Chiang Kai-shek.

Looking back now, whether it is the Southwest Development Team in Chongqing, the Municipal Government, or the Liu Xiang, Liu Wenhui, Tian Song and others from Chengdu, their words are all the War of Resistance, which is the same as Li Zhilong's words. It is obvious that they are all influenced by Zhuang Jihua. It seems that Zhuang Jihua has already twisted these people together, and these people are vaguely following the leader of Zhuang Jihua.

Thinking of this, Wang Jingwei felt even more regretful. It was already difficult for him to bring Zhuang Jihua over in Guangzhou. Zhuang Jihua's wings were full. Chiang Kai-shek could still give him what he could. Chiang Kai-shek was really fortunate to have such a student.

"Maybe." Li Zhilong also did not deny: "Sir, the people's hearts are politics. Now the national war of resistance has been formed. If it goes against the people's hearts,..."

Li Zhilong said this and shook
