011 Fair Judge

"I don't think you know why this happened, right?" Dumbledore asked.

"Yes, professor." Lawrence replied, "and I will use some small magic from time to time to confirm whether I have lies."

"Oh, Lawrence, how could you think this was right?" Dumbledore said in surprise.

"What does it mean?" Lawrence frowned.

"You're irrational," Dumbledore explained. "I think you're looking for a wand because you don't know what you really think, and confirm whether you're right or wrong, is that right?"

"Yes, professor." Lawrence admitted, he was a little confused, "Is there anything wrong with doing this?"

"When encountering unclear problems, don't seek answers deep in your heart, but try to find answers through external objects. This is the method of putting the cart before the horse," Dumbledore said softly, "and I think this is also the problem."

"What's the problem?" Lawrence was puzzled, "I don't understand-"

"Maybe the question you don't know has an answer deep in your heart-" Dumbledore said, "or you understand that using a wand to test whether you are right or wrong is stupid, but you still try to get the answer in this way."

"Well--" Lawrence fell into thought, but was interrupted by Dumbledore.

"Okay, Lawrence, I think you don't care too much about this." Dumbledore said lightly,

"Why?" Lawrence asked in surprise.

"Many times, even if you know the problem, you can't solve it. Instead of doing this, it's better to let it go. I think the problem will come to you again soon." Dumbledore's blue eyes shining, as if he understood something, "I'm looking for you for another thing."

"Another thing?" Lawrence raised his eyebrows.

"I noticed that after a summer vacation, I found that you have become much stronger again." Dumbledore looked at Lawrence carefully, his eyes made Lawrence feel a little uncomfortable.

"Is this not normal?" Lawrence asked.

"No - I think this is normal for us," Dumbledore said slowly. "As we approach adulthood, our abilities will become more and more stable for a period of time after adulthood. I think it's time for you to understand more and use these abilities."

"I tried to find relevant information, but I didn't find any words in the library." Lawrence said, Dumbledore nodded.

"Of course, there will be no books in the library," Dumbledore said. "In fact, those books are placed on the bookcase in the saloon of Ravenclaw." (Note 1)

"Ah?" Lawrence was surprised.

"Oh, it won't teach you any magic, it's a strange manuscript to ordinary people," Dumbledore explained.

"How should I find it?" Lawrence asked curiously.

"Every student of Ravenclaw knows that book, but people find it strange," Dumbledore said. "They don't understand why there is such a useless mood diary on the bookshelf, and the book that can hold that bookcase has magic protection, and no one can discard it or take it away from Ravenclawta."

"Mood Diary?" Lawrence raised his eyebrows.

"Yes, Royna Ravenclaw's mood diary. Many people want to find the secret of becoming smarter, but they are all disappointed," Dumbledore smiled. "That mood diary, for us, is more about conveying a... well...feeling, if I guess right, I think you can get a lot of help from that."

"So your wand has lost its magic?" Fred asked,

"It's not loss, it's closure." Lawrence corrected,

"I can't see any difference," said George.

"The difference is that as long as I find out the reason, my wand will be as good as before." Lawrence frowned, casting a spell to make the empty armchair swing four feet, and jog around the round table.

"But Dumbledore told you not to find the reason?" Fred said,

"Yes, he thought I might not be able to solve the problem even if I knew the reason." Lawrence said, and he stopped the armchair.

"Just let me see, your magic is still as exquisite as it is." George said,

"I don't think there is a big problem," Fred comforted, "Don't Ollivand say it too. Maybe it will take a few years or months, and I think by that time, the problem may have been solved."

"I hope so," Lawrence said.

"You should focus on the first task now." George suggested,

"Actually, I think," Lawrence looked at the sky outside the window and said, "We should go back to the dormitory to sleep now."

The next morning, they were eating breakfast as usual, flipping through the Prophet Daily, Rita. Skitt's report on the Triumph was published,

That article did not describe the wand detection much, but instead exaggerated Harry's private life. Harry's photos occupied most of the front pages. The entire article (published on pages 2, 6, and 7) was reported about Harry Potter. The names of Wickdor and Fleur were even misspelled, and Lawrence hurriedly brought it with just one sentence from beginning to end, without even mentioning the name.

"'The other highly anticipated Hogwarts Warrior, his wand made a little mistake." George raised his eyebrows, "Actually, I said, are there really four warriors going to your wand test?"

"'My power comes from my parents. If they saw me like this, they would definitely be very proud of me..." Fred read out the report, "I don't know you can speak so well, Harry."

"Listen, I didn't say these words at all," Harry felt that his face must be flushed. "It's all made up by her-"

"Okay, Harry." Fred winked, "We all know Rita Skit's close-ups are rubbish."

"But I think this will make you more popular." George quickly read the report and commented,

"I don't want to do this-" Harry replied with a bite of the roasted toast hatefully.

"Hey, Hermione, you're mentioned here," George seemed to have discovered something new, ""Harry is always inseparable from a girl named Hermione Granger. This girl born in Muggle has amazing beauty-""

"I'm very grateful for telling me what that woman wrote in advance," Hermione said proudly. "I can imagine that Slytherin's people would make a big fuss with these things."

"Then I think you will need to read the full text." Lawrence blinked and handed the newspaper over,

"Oh, well, uh, thank you." Hermione took the newspaper.

"The lady didn't show up today?" Fred looked around,

"Lawrence, where are you going?" George asked with a smile.

"Ravenclaw's saloon," Lawrence said, "Dumbledore said there was something there, which helped me."

"I heard that there are several bookcases in Ravenclaw's saloon, which contain a lot of useful knowledge." Hermione's voice came from behind the newspaper, sounding dull, "I hope I can go in. Recently, Wickdor Crum has been in the library, making it impossible for me to read--"

"How are you going to get in?" Fred ignored Hermione's chattering complaints, and raised his eyebrows and asked Lawrence.

"Look for Luna's help," Lawrence replied, and he stood up and ran towards the petite figure of the golden-gray hair at the entrance of the hall.

"Ravenclaw's lounge?" Luna's expression flashed with a hint of surprise.

"Uh, yes," said Lawrence, "Dumbledore said there is a book on your saloon bookcase that will help me."

"Then let's go--" Luna said with a smile, she turned around to lead the way,

"Wait," Lawrence chased forward and asked, "You want to go to class, right?"

"Muggle research, it doesn't matter," Luna said. "I'm not very interested in this course."

"Let you lead the way" Lawrence said,

"Oh, it won't be troublesome." Luna said, Lawrence was stunned for a moment, and then swallowed the words "I'm so troublesome" back.

"Actually, just tell me the clearance." Lawrence said,

"There is no clearance," Luna said, and she took Lawrence to a spiral staircase, "Let's go here."

They walked past the dizzy steps and came to a door without a door handle and a keyhole. On the smooth and old wooden door, there was only a copper eagle door knocker. Many lower-grade students gathered in front of the door. They heard footsteps and looked over with anticipation, but when they saw Luna and Lawrence coming by, they all looked disappointed.

"Crazy girl and a Glenten?" Lawrence could hear their whispers, and he frowned.

"What's wrong?" Luna seemed to have not heard of it, she asked.

"Ora forgot something in the dormitory." A boy from Lavenclaw said, "But we can't solve the problem of opening the door knocker." (Note 2)

"What's going on?" Lawrence was puzzled.

"I just said that we don't have a clearance," Luna replied, "but if you answer the door knocker correctly, you will be able to enter the saloon."

Luna raised her pale hand and knocked on the door. The eagle's mouth suddenly opened, but it made a soft and pleasant sound, which asked, "Who will not die in your life?"

Lawrence frowned, he understood why these Ravenclaws were trapped outside,

"What do you think, Lawrence?" Luna asked, tilted her head,

"I don't understand, maybe it's the one who owns the Philosopher's Stone?" Lawrence frowned, but Lao Ying did not respond. Obviously, the answer was not correct. The group of first-year Ravenclaw freshmen seemed to want to give up.

"I think it's the one who lives in your heart." Luna said seriously to the door knocker.

"The right answer." The eagle spoke, the old wooden door spiraled open, and the group of freshmen cheered, Luna flashed to the side, and a little girl with a flushed face ran into the saloon, probably the freshmen who forgot something,

"It's a very interesting door, isn't it?" Luna smiled and looked at Lawrence. Lawrence remembered that the strong little girl answered his question a year ago on the train.

"What's wrong? Dementor reminds you of what happened last year?"

"No, I remembered my mother. She likes to do experiments very much, but her experiment failed. It was a terrible scene. I was nine years old at that time."

"How are you?"

"I'm fine, sometimes I still feel bad, but I still have a dad, don't I?"

Lawrence's hand moved, and Luna turned around and walked into Ravenclaw's saloon, Lawrence paused and followed her.
