002 After the funeral

On the last day of the summer vacation, Hermione arrived at Diagon Alley, on the same day, the Weasleys finally finished their Egyptian holiday, and they planned to spend the rest of their holiday at the Broken Cauldron Bar,

"Hello, Lawrence, I'm glad to see you." Percy walked over and shook hands with Lawrence as if they had never met before.

"Uh... Hello Percy." Lawrence raised his eyebrows, and it glanced at the twins and found that they were holding back their laughter.

"I heard you are the fifth grade chief, I must say, this is really great news." Percy said with some conceit, the badge of the president of the male student union on his chest shines,

"You, Grandmaster?" George pushed Percy away as if he had discovered a new world, and stretched out his hands to shake hands with Lawrence enthusiastically. "It's great to see you, Mr. Rovander, I mean, Grandmaster."

"It's our honor," Fred pushed George away, and he bowed deeply to Lawrence. "It's so nice, sir."

Percy ignored them and turned to shake hands with Harry who had just returned to the bar. The twins came over again. Lawrence noticed that Hermione was holding a ginger cat in addition to a large bag of books.

"Yo, Crook Mountain?" Lawrence looked at the cat and said hello. Before the holiday, he would go to see this smart big cat whenever he had free time. Both sides were familiar with each other.

"Do you know it?" Hermione asked in surprise, and Crook Hill snored, saying hello,

"Oh, of course, it refused to let me buy it." Lawrence said with a smile, looking at the twins who were joking, "I wanted to introduce it to the twins, but I didn't expect it to have chosen you as its owner."

"Oh, enough, Fred, George." Mrs. Weasley cried, he stopped the twins from playing, and she pointed to Percy's badge on her chest and said to Lawrence to Harry, "Our second president of the school boy."

"It must be the last one." Fred muttered,

"I think so," said Mrs. Weasley. "Although your grades seem to be well maintained, I don't think you are like Lawrence, and it's always unreliable."

"This guy is a monster," George protested, "Please compare us with a normal wizard."

"We want to live a little more fulfilling," Fred said. "Of course, Lawrence always makes our lives very fulfilling."

Ginny giggled and laughed aside,

"You should give your sister a good example." Mrs. Weasley said loudly,

"Ginny has other brothers who can be role models, mother." Percy said arrogantly, "I'll go change my clothes before I'll have a meal."

"Why didn't we use magic to lock him in the pyramid?" Fred asked in a low voice, George also looked regretful.

"They were discovered by Mom." Ginny whispered to Lawrence when Mrs. Weasley was not paying attention, Harry and Hermione, "Although they insisted that Percy had encountered the mechanism in the pyramid himself."

Because they were too many, Mr. Tom put three tables side by side, and a group of people ate this hearty dinner. After they had enough wine, they returned to the room to pack their luggage. After Lawrence stuffed his brick books into the suitcase, Percy and Ron became more and more arguing. Lawrence walked out of the room, and Harry was already standing at their door,

"Spotted rat tonic." Ron's voice came from the room, accompanied by the noise of rumbling through the cabinets, "I think I might stay in the bar."

"If you don't find my badge, don't leave." Percy shouted, Lawrence probably knew what was going on.

"I'll help you get that medicine, I'm packing my stuff." Harry said to Ron, and he turned around and saw Lawrence.

"Do you think they are so noisy, and Fred and George don't come out to see it?" Lawrence said to Harry with a smile, and then he said with a normal volume, "Oh, Harry, I'll go find it with you. It's always faster for two people to find it?"

Harry smiled with understanding. They passed the reception room on the way to the bar. Lawrence and Harry both heard some sounds - the voices of the Weasleys. They seemed to be arguing about something. Lawrence and Harry looked at each other.

"We should tell him." Mr. Weasley said angrily, "Harry has the right to know, but you always insist on treating Harry as a child. He is thirteen years old, and-"

"Oh my God, he'll be frightened," Mrs. Weasley screamed. "Do you want Harry to let those things bother him when he goes back to school? He doesn't know he'll be happier-"

"I don't want to make him sad, I just want to make him alert." Mr. Weasley retorted, "You know Ron and Harry went to the Forbidden Forest twice, but you can't let Harry run around like this. Do you know what danger would be if he would come out of his house that day? If the Knight Bus hadn't picked him up in time, he would have been dead before the Minister found him."

Lawrence patted Harry on the shoulder and signaled Harry to move forward. Harry hesitated for a moment and quietly followed Lawrence down the stairs. When Lawrence could not hear the quarrel between the Weasleys, he stopped and turned to face Harry.

"I know you want to keep listening," said Lawrence, and Harry nodded silently, "but I think it's better for us not to eavesdrop."

"Do you remember the day you arrived at the Burnt Cauldron Bar?" Lawrence continued, "I talked to the minister for a while that day. I probably know why the Ministry of Magic is so nervous, but the minister wants me not to tell you."

"Oh, do you think I don't know better?" Harry lowered his head a little dismayed.

"No, in fact, I think the decision is up to you." Lawrence replied, and Harry raised his head in surprise.

"I want to know," Harry admitted, "Why did everyone be so nervous when Black escaped. I used magic outside the school, but the Ministry of Magic did not punish me. The minister said it was a trivial matter, but it didn't make sense-"

"This is a very bad thing, even-" Lawrence said seriously, "Sorry, let me say that, it's almost as bad as your parents' death."

"I-I don't understand-" Harry was a little confused, but he didn't seem so determined. "What's as bad as my parents' death?"

"The decision is up to you, and I can only promise you," Lawrence said. "If you want to know, please be mentally prepared. I will tell you all the information I know."

"Okay--" Harry agreed,

"I think Mr. Weasley will tell you something tomorrow," Lawrence said. "I don't know how much Mr. Weasley intends to tell you, but I don't think there will be much information, and at least I won't say everything I know."

They finished the conversation and walked into the dark bar. Harry found the tonic in Ron's seat for dinner. Back upstairs, the Weasleys in the reception room had left. Fred and George were sneaking around the stairs, laughing a few times,

"We took the badge," Fred smirked. He showed the changed badge show to Lawrence and Harry. Harry smiled reluctantly. He walked outside Ron and Percy's room, handed Ron the tonic to Ron, and then walked back to his room.

"What's wrong with him?" George asked,

"Well--" Lawrence shrugged without answering, glanced at the two of them and said, "I hope you haven't changed my badge a few words?"

"How could it be?" Fred said in a hurt tone, "How do you think of us so much?"

"I thought you knew us very well," George said sadly.

"If you want to change your badge, how can a few words be enough?" Fred looked at Percy's male student union president badge in his hand.

"At least a few sentences, maybe it will turn into a poem?" George added, Lawrence rolled his eyes and walked back to his room.
