Chapter five hundred and twentieth seventh long Kuang

"Oh, change the channel, change the channel! I said, why is there no other news in this country like the developed Netherlands? Do you want to anger me? Which channel you change to is all this little red guy!"

In the hotel room where the trip and reunion was traveling, a middle-aged man stood up and turned off the TV. (Ignoring the anger of the woman behind him, he walked out helplessly.

"Old He, this Sister Li has such a temper. She is not bad. Don't forget to think about it..."

The middle-aged man called Lao He was called out as soon as he left the house. He turned around and saw another leader in the tour group coming over. He smiled bitterly and said, "I didn't take it to my heart, but Sister Li's temper, haha--"

"Oh, as for the magic city, people from big cities are always a little proud." The leader uses his leadership art and is professional and harmonious.

"Which man is a demon city? Her man is a serious man. I also see Director Zhang's face. Look at what kind of person is Director Zhang? Look at her, she is all a family, why is the difference between being a human being? Forget it, she is not as scruple as a woman. She just married a demon city. I have seen many people in the demon city, and no one is as good as her!"

"Okay, let's say a few words. It's not easy for you to come to the Netherlands once, just treat it as giving me face and don't break the atmosphere." The leader patted Lao He on the shoulder and sighed empathically.

"But speaking of this, this is called Zhou Shuo's boy. He doesn't look so good in China. Who knows that he has such great skills in the Netherlands?" Lao He didn't want to really cause displeasure to the leaders, so he quickly changed the topic: "The Netherlands is small, but it's not that it can be used on TV in any way, right?"

"Are you an unknown person in China?" This leader is actually not someone else. It was Director Wang who led the group at the airport that day. The director of the Economic and Trade Commission was not sure about Zhou Shuo's origin? He laughed and said with honor: "Zhou Shuo is not very famous this year, but he has a great influence in China! Have you heard of Fanhan Group? It is the group that controls Huajing and BOE. It also produces mp3."

"Of course I know this. There are not many companies in our country that can make a name for themselves in high-tech. If there were more companies as successful as Fanhan Group, they would have been catching up with the Premier League and the United States long ago."

"Hey, you know that Zhou Shuo is actually the chairman of Fanhan Group!"

"ah!"

Zhou Shuo completed a week-long tour lecture, ended his last exchange activity at the University of The Hague, and finally returned to Leiden University Town, a suburb of Amsterdam.

This time, the lecture he gave in the Netherlands was still relatively focused on graphene content at the beginning. But he couldn't help but talk about a lot of content on communication networks every time. Over time, a lot of information behind Zhou Shuo was investigated by some people.

The Dutch were surprised that such a young discoverer of graphene was also a billionaire! This contrast was too strong, and coupled with the influence of products such as Liuer Software, Zlink and MP3 chips, there were more people from the IT industry than those in the material physics industry.

After several exchange lectures, Zhou Shuo's title as an expert in the field of communications was completely settled. Even the University of The Hague was considering whether to hire him as an honorary professor.

When he returned to Leiden University, not to mention that the Netherlands is famous nationwide, at least in the IT and material physics circles, few people finally don’t know Zhou Shuo’s name.

"Mr. Zhou, let me introduce it. This is Mr. Andrew, technical director of Telfort." Allen wore a formal outfit today, but fortunately the latitude of the Netherlands was quite high. Otherwise, he would have to be so hot.

"Mr. Andrew, this is Mr. Zhou Shuo who came to the Netherlands recently for exchanges from China. Mr. Zhou is not only the discoverer of graphene, but also a recognized expert in the information field."

"Oh. Dear Zhou, hello!" Andrew is a very strong Dutch man. He probably has some German ancestry. His golden fluffy hair and strong three-dimensional facial features are indeed a very attractive person. He held Zhou Shuo's hand tightly and said in less skillful English: "I have heard that Mr. Zhou is very accomplished in optical communication. I asked Mr. Allen to take me over to learn."

Allen and Andrew asked Zhou Shuo to sit down. This is an open-air cafe on the beach in Amsterdam. The environment and style are great. The refreshing sea breeze in summer hits, and the chirping of seagulls is surrounded by the chirping of seagulls. Large areas of beautiful women with white skin are walking around on the street. It is really a paradise for men.

The waitress wearing a lace apron brought exquisite snacks and coffee, and smiled shyly with the tall and handsome Andrew. This made Zhou Shuo feel a little frightened. His life in the imperial capital and the Netherlands continued, and his young and strong body obviously had some hormones oversecretion.

"I heard that Mr. Zhou has a lot of research on OTN technology. Our Telfort company is one of the five telecom operators in the Netherlands and is very interested in this technology. Using this technology, can it really reach a transmission rate of 100g?"

Zhou Shuo was awakened by Andrew's question and nodded, "If you want to achieve a speed of 100g, you must cooperate with our company's network products. Only when the entire system is perfectly matched can you achieve such a speed."

"What does your perfect cooperation mean?"

"Not only are the OTN technology used in optical transmission methods, but the entire network must use the equipment we specially developed, the construction conditions must also meet our design requirements, and personnel operation and maintenance must also undergo considerable training." Zhou Shuo said with his fingers one by one, "The OTN technology adopts wavelength division multiplexing optical transmission technology, which is completely different from the current cable transmission system, and of course the requirements for the equipment environment are completely different."

"So, will it be expensive?"

Andrew's face looked a little ugly. Telfort's company was not strong enough, otherwise he would not have had a license but could not conduct business. He appeared here today, in fact, mainly with the mentality of making technical reserves. As the technical director of Telfort, he must always keep a close eye on the forefront of technology in order to provide technical basis and support for the company's decision-making. Since I heard from Allen that OTN, which is still in the concept state, actually has products, of course he needs to come and learn about it personally.

Speaking of which, this is also the benefit of "small companies". For example, did the CTO of the other four telecom operators in the Netherlands not hear the news? No, it is probably because it can't help but wait for Zhou Shuo to go to develop his business. Telfort is a small company, so naturally there is no reserved capital, so Andrew came to the door in person.

But even if it was just one time to understand, he was still a little frustrated when he realized that the cost of OTN network might not be affordable by Telfort.

"It's true that the cost is high. A relatively economical project cost should be at least one city. A 100g backbone network, an 80-kilometer fiber optic line, two data centers, a control and maintenance center, related software and maintenance equipment, and personnel training, the total cost should be around 50 million US dollars."

There are twelve provinces in the Netherlands, which are actually equivalent to cities in China - the jurisdiction is equivalent to county-level cities in China. As for the actual construction cost, there is definitely no US$50 million, and RMB 50 million also needs to be considered. If you only count the price of equipment, RMB 230 million is already full.

If it were more than ten years later, China's county-level city telecom investment, let alone RMB 20 million, maybe 2 million would be able to handle the entire project - of course, there is basically no need to consider the network speed and stability issues. Maintenance and usage costs must be reduced. The same is true for China's Internet fees. The poorer the Internet is, the more expensive it is. The economically developed areas are. The Internet access is faster and cheaper. To put it bluntly, it is just that the infrastructure investment is different.

But for Andrew, this price is like seeing the dawn of God! 50 million US dollars per city? The construction of the Netherlands is only 500 million yuan. Although it still exceeds the affordability of Telfort, it is much lower than his previous psychological price. If it is based on the cost-effectiveness of data, Zhou Shuo's quotation is even at least one-third lower than the quotation of other telecom projects in the Netherlands!

Don’t forget that the current capacity of the Dutch backbone network is only 20g. The cost of a 20g network can be as high as 15 million US dollars in a city! If it is expanded to a 100g network capacity based on the technology currently used by Telfort, the cost will be at least 75 million US dollars.

The telfort company of 500 million US dollars can't be taken out at once, but it can be taken slowly and bit by bit. Either increase stocks or loans, or do it in one city or another. The key is that as long as it is done, it will be the biggest victory! Other companies only have 20g networks, but Telfort company has 100g. Isn't it obvious which one users will choose?

Andrew excitedly said: "Mr. Zhou Shuo, I would like to ask you to help me with a detailed plan description. Take Amsterdam as an example. I will suggest to the company how much budget and what preparations are needed to do at least one city project to see the results."
