187. Cooperation with Law Enforcers

The auction has a limited number of people, and only Lu Li, Ophelia and Bishop Jon will attend.

The punishment for breaking the hidden rules had not yet appeared. Lu Li went straight from the Spiral Hall to the seventh floor, a place where the Dark Twins could not set foot.

The auction house embedded in the rock wall reveals a passage leading to the depths, and there are no strange things lingering around it.

Ophelia's cracks shimmered with dark red lava, and Bishop Jon's body under the uniform was covered with spell runes, following Lu Li into the dim and empty cave hall.

Dozens of stone pillars are scattered in the corners of the cave hall. The edges of some of the stone pillars illuminate with a faint light, revealing the round table next to the stone pillars and the outline of the round table.

The invitation in Lu Li's hand suddenly burned, burning up before throwing it away. Correspondingly, a stone pillar in the distance shone brightly.

Lu Li blocked the strange looks from the cave hall, walked towards the shimmering stone pillar in the middle of the cave hall guided by the invitation, sat down at the round table, and then fell into a long wait.

Guests holding invitations arrived one after another and took their seats.

Bishop Jon told Lu Li that the stone pillars seemed to have some kind of isolating power. They could block outside penetration into the stone pillars, and they could also form stone pillars to penetrate outside.

There were more and more shimmering stone pillars, and Ophelia began to count down the remaining dark stone pillars.

When only the last of the unlit stone pillars remained, a new outline emerged in front of the door.

Turbulent steam emitted from the lonely body, covering its outline. Unsmellable blood flowed under its feet. It followed the invitation's guidance and approached the last stone pillar.

All the guests with invitation letters have arrived. As the cave hall trembles, a silhouette appears in the center of the cave hall.

The magma poured down and flowed on the crystal clear rocks above our heads,

The surging dark red ceiling illuminates the cave hall, and the guests in front of the stone pillars observe each other and also catch a glimpse of the withered and old tree man in the center.

"Don't leave the magma column. It protects both the inside and the outside."

The withered and old tree man's mouth was cracked, and his slow and obscure mouth gradually disappeared.

"Start the first auction item."

As the reverberation faded, the outlines beside the three stone pillars dimmed and reappeared in the center of the hall.

They are shaped like skeletons and hold up wine bottles made by humans from pre-old times from their bellies.

As the skeleton shook, its identity was revealed: "The evil spirit...the shadow of the evil friend...the true body."

The dark red color in Ophelia's crack flashed for a moment.

I don’t know whether I was surprised at the weight at the auction or whether the same kind was auctioned as a commodity.

There were only a few customers who were interested in the Shadow of the Evil Penguin, and the first customer even made a bid in a weird currency. In the end, the Evil Spirit was bought by the third customer who asked for a price, and the price was a butterfly dragon larvae.

Behind the beautiful and elegant-sounding name was an ugly and corrupt strangeness. Its introduction was recorded in the "Illustrated Book of Weird Clans", but Lu Li did not risk opening the illustrated book again after losing his humanity.

The three skeletons returned to the stone pillar in a strange way. A silt-like butterfly dragon larvae was placed on the round table in front of them, and the evil spirit's original wine bottle was on the guest's table.

The second auction item was a simple Rubik's Cube. The auctioneer did not explain its use, but it was still eventually bought at the cost of a block of Midnight City's main station.

Lu Li watched silently, waiting for the auction items that the God of the Deep Sea had not informed yet to appear.

After several rounds of auctions, the twelfth guest appeared and picked up the item: "An indestructible corpse."

Ophelia awakened Lu Li from his thoughts and asked him to look towards the center of the hall.

The black eyes that reflected the dark red magma on the ceiling fell to the center, where a corpse was carried by giant hands. A scarf, coat, and backpack proved the identity of the businessman.

Lu Li knew what the businessman's identity represented and the other world behind it. But other customers didn't know, and the owner didn't know either or was too clumsy to tell.

Lu Li spent 100 weird coins to buy back the merchant from the grunt owner.

When a businessman wakes up because of Lu Li, he inevitably attracts many strange looks.

"Go back to the other world, and merchant Anthony will tell you what happened." Lu Li said to the third merchant he found.

The auction continues, and the value of the goods may be high or low. The merchant worth 100 pieces of strange currency is not the cheapest item to be auctioned, and there are also a few items that have failed to be auctioned because the bidding price is too low.

The countdown to the auction was drawing to a close, and the last customer entering the auction house appeared in the center of the hall.

Blood poured out, scarlet steam obscured its outline, and a whisper filled with the sound of air flow came out: "Three-sevenths of the strange crystal currency. The incomplete ones are useless to me."

bite

A coin flew out of steam in an arc and bounced to the ground.

The guests silently stared at the incomplete crystal strange currencies, revealing their weird side: fanaticism and greed.

"A weird town..."

"The town of gods, one!"

"One hundred thousand standard souls."

The value of the strange crystal currency was beyond Lu Li's imagination, even if only three-sevenths of it remained.

In the end, its price was set at "the entire territory of Midnight City in Hell", and it was bought by a demonic two-horned humanoid lizard.

The blood-red outline disappeared in the center of the hall, and after a few minutes of silence that allowed the guests to return to calmness, a customer appeared in the center of the hall with the last product.

She wears a straight black dress that is dust-free and wrinkle-free, her mysterious long black hair is tied into a ponytail, she applies delicate makeup, and her palms covered with white lace gloves hold a huge faded eyeball as big as a head.

"The lost vitality of the ancient god's eyes." The human woman said softly with a smile on her face.

Small whispers filled the cave hall.

"She has...the same...black hair as you."

In the center of the cave hall, the unusually calm black-haired woman continued: "Please allow me to introduce it. This eyeball was once a part of an ancient god. They were injured in the terrible fight at the scene, and the result is unknown. And this eyeball

It was gradually lost over the years, and was finally obtained by us. When you hold it, you will master all low-level water magic...without any price."

Following the bewitching whisper of the black-haired woman, a stream of water condensed in front of her, wandering around her body like an elf.

"A branch line bordering Midnight City Terminal."

Customers began to make quotations one after another.

"Lu Li..." Ophelia whispered.

This is exactly the purpose of their trip.

"The main insect living body of the plague corpse layer..." The ominous and abominable monster quoted.

When the sound disappeared, Lu Li said: "A strange crystal currency."

The cave hall fell into dead silence with the calm words, coveting and greed brewing in the chaos.

The black-haired woman looked at Lu Li, suddenly raised her head, wrinkled her nose on her bright red lips, and gently sniffed something.

Lu Li frowned slightly and raised his right hand to cover the hot inverted pentagram mark on the back of his left hand.

The black-haired woman watched Lu Li's movements as if she had discovered something interesting, and her narrow, almost black eyes gradually narrowed.
