Chapter 829 Secret visit to Saudi Arabia

With the excessive support of social welfare and war, coupled with the monetization of the Federal Reserve's deficit, the amount of US dollars circulating in the market far exceeded the circulation that gold could support. In this way, the supply of gold in the United States gradually consumed, falling from 706 million ounces at the end of World War II to 286 million ounces in 1971.

At that time, US President Nixon announced the decoupling of the US dollar from gold in 1971, ending the Bretton Woods system.

In order to ensure the US dollar's status as a global reserve currency, the US government had to formulate a new agreement to give other countries sufficient reasons to hold and use the US dollar, which is the petrodollar system.

At that time, the US government found Saudi Arabia and created this system.

Although this system is superficially high-sounding, in fact, the essence of this system is as follows: the United States guarantees the lasting status of the Saudi royal family, and Saudi Arabia returns the United States: 1. It uses its leadership in OPEC to ensure that all crude oil transactions are settled in US dollars. 2. It invests a large amount of US dollars it earns through crude oil transactions in US Treasury bonds, and uses the proceeds of the Treasury bonds to pay for the projects of modern infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. 3. It ensures oil prices to be stable within the scope that the United States can afford and prevents crude oil embargoes from occurring.

Since crude oil is the world's largest transaction and the most strategically valuable commodity, the use of US dollars to settle crude oil transactions, this requires governments to hold large US dollar reserves.

For example, if Italy wants to buy oil from Kuwait, Italy must first buy US dollars in the foreign exchange market to pay for the purchase of oil. This creates a virtual market for the US dollar that does not actually exist.

This demand is virtual because the US dollar is just an intermediary in the transaction. This has no connection with US products or services. In the end, this will increase the purchasing power of the US dollar, and the US Treasury bonds will usher in a deeper and more liquid market. Moreover, after each oil-producing country collects US dollars, it will have to go to the United States to consume, and almost kidnap each oil-producing country onto the US tank.

The United States will have the privilege of purchasing imported goods without using foreign exchange, including oil. The currency used by Americans is printed by themselves. At the same time, since countries must use US dollars to buy oil, countries must use their own products to sell internationally. It is equivalent to the United States being able to buy things by printing money.

The petrodollar system has brought huge benefits to the United States. No matter how the U.S. finances deteriorate or how much it is, it can live comfortably. Through this system, the United States can continuously consume the products of people around the world by printing money. Americans enjoy all the benefits of this system.

All this should not have happened. Why can America, which is above all else be exploited? Over the years, Americans have printed so many banknotes and circulated around the world. Americans have seriously overdrawn their purchasing power. Americans’ high-level life is based on exploiting people around the world!

Now, it’s time for this system to collapse!

Since we entered the war, we would have to live to the death and not kill the Americans completely, Pakistan would not have a good life.

With such a goal, Mhamad secretly visited the Saudi capital Riyadh.

At this time, Mhamad stayed in his country the safest. If he learned about Mhamad's route of action, the Americans would definitely ambush halfway. However, Mhamad had no choice. This time, the most important thing that determined the future pattern must be handled by Mhamad himself.

Instead of taking a special plane, Mhamad boarded a high-speed ground-effect aircraft and passed through the strait. He directly crossed the vast desert area of Saudi Arabia and arrived at the capital Riyadh.

When Mhamad got off the ground effect aircraft, he was faced with a familiar face.

"Prince Sultan!" Mhamad shouted to the person opposite. This middle-aged man was the Saudi high-powered Minister of Defense and an old acquaintance of Mhamad.

"President Mhamad, you dare to come out at this time, and I feel worried about you. You must know that you are a thorn in the eyes of Americans now." Prince Sultan said.

Saudi Arabia's defense policy is inclined to the West. But now, Prince Sultan teases him and has no respect for the West at all. Of course, Mhamad knows why, and he is also happy in his heart.

"Get on the car." Prince Sultan brought Mhamad to the already prepared convoy, half of which were Pakistani.

After the United States went to war with Iran, two divisions of Pakistani troops were stationed in Saudi Arabia to help Saudi Arabia defend the country. Now, these Pakistani soldiers are Mhamad's most trusted subordinates.

"His Majesty the King heard that you were coming, and he was worried about you. In fact, I can just go there, so don't bother you to come from Pakistan." Prince Sultan said to Mhamad in the car.

"I have to come to this trip for the future of our ******* world," said Mhamad. "And, only if I personally mention this important event to His Majesty the King can we show our sincerity."

"President Mhamad, your battle at sea really gives us ambition!" Prince Sultan continued to say to Mhamad. As the Minister of Defense, Prince Sultan is most concerned about the construction of the army. Now, Pakistan is so brave that the entire ******* world feels straightened.

"Fortunately we were prepared," Mhamad said: "If you buy weapons from the West, you will be subject to others. This time, the Americans tried to destroy our combat system by viruses implanted inside our fighter jets. Fortunately, we discovered it and made us counterattack. Most of the American reconnaissance satellites were destroyed by us."

Prepared! Mhamad's preparations have not been a day or two. It can be said that since the first batch of American fighter jets were imported, Mhamad was guarding against the United States' behind the scenes, otherwise he would not know how to die.

Soon, the convoy entered the city of Riyadh and headed straight for the palace.
