Chapter two hundred and sixty first collapse

The out-of-control spell that broke out at a very close range had no way to avoid it. The magic power rushing out of the gap in the magic cube array was like a torrent to get Curt into it.

In a blink of an eye, the incandescent light swallowed everything in front of him, and the white that invaded everything completely obscured the horizon. Just under the dazzling light, Curt's eyes felt a sharp sting, making people feel an illusion that the retina would turn into ashes in their lifetime.

In the silence, you can only hear the crisp echo of the crucifix arrays breaking, sounding like fragile glass products being thrown to the ground and shattered into countless sharp fragments. As the sound of breaking continues, it seems that the whole world is collapsing with the collapse of those cube arrays.

Severe pain—

The skin on his body was burned with flames. The hot magic power kept heating the air and burning Cott's body ruthlessly. In this ruthless fire, he felt his muscles and bone marrow penetrated like a cold steel needle, and the blood flowed out was evaporated in the blink of an eye.

The out-of-control magic turned into a torture instrument that brought pain to people, raging wildly in space. They originally existed as energy turned into substantial existences, and white blades tear the air and tear all creatures trapped in the knife array into flesh and blood residues.

After a while, the hot light gradually dissipated, and the out-of-control magic gradually disappeared, and there was only a mess left on the street that was ravaged by manic magic. The street was scorched by high temperature, leaving a large piece of charred trace; the lamppost, which was affected by the magic shock, was broken in half, leaving only half a piece of broken iron.

Around the explosion site, several magicians were scattered. The protective suits on their bodies were already torn and had some color on them. If the clothes on their bodies had certain protective abilities, they would probably have been missing now.

And in the middle of these spells - the center of the explosion - half-squatted a man who could almost be described as "coke". The clothes that wrapped around his body had almost been carbonized, and his body almost turned into a twisted wreck due to the burning of flames.

"It hurts so much... This time I'm really just a ray of death, right?"

Suddenly, the wrecked corner of the mouth moved, and several black fragments fell from the edge: "But when it reaches this level, it still can't cross that line. Should I admire the effect of the 'curse', or should I thank it for saving me more than once?"

As he said, he moved his body stiffly and supported himself to stand up with the long knife in his hand. The little bits that had been burned to charcoal were replaced by flesh and skin. The body, which was almost swallowed up by the flames, became alive, and the coke wrapped around him slowly dropped.

This is the scene where he was burned to coke - perhaps most people who see this scene will have such thoughts. A moment ago, it was just a mass of coke-like remains, but now, no matter who can see that he is an absolute human being.

The clothes that were almost completely destroyed by the flames slowly peeled off in his movements, leaving only a little rag wrapped around him. One scar after another left his past was left on his not-so-strong body, and one of them stretched from his neck to his side seemed particularly conspicuous.

It was a serious injury that almost tear a person in half. I really couldn't imagine what kind of weapon would carve such scars on the person's body. It is certain that if anyone suffers such damage in the same position on his body, his family will have to start preparing for his funeral.

Unable to recover and is a serious injury that can be killed.

"What's the solution?" Li Qi, who was laughing or cursing, said in a strange tone, "Who told you to use magic to knock those manipulated idiots away instead of protecting yourself - I want me to say, you can obviously not be hurt, right?"

After saying these words, she whispered softly from her nose and threw a thick protective jacket on Curt's face. It seemed that she had just peeled off a knocked mercenary, and there was still a little temperature left on the wool cloth soaked in the rain.

She took the coat that was thrown onto Liqi's face and put it on her body. Curt looked at the girl who was still walking in front of her. Her eyes were clearly filled with doubts about Curt's behavior. It seemed to be asking Curt: What qualifications do you have to say that I am too impulsive when doing such a thing?

Looking at Liqi like this, Curt could only shrugge - it was obvious. Although it was not expressed in words, the black girl was quite dissatisfied with the choice Curt had made just now. However, he couldn't tell which aspect he was complaining about.

"Minimizing victimization - in a sense, this should be considered the optimal solution, right?"

This may be the most common words Liqi used to perfunctory Curt, but now he used them to perfunctory her: "None of them was injured too much, and my body...you see, isn't it a physical condition that will be restored by any kind of damage? This small problem is not a problem."

Putting on the coat that was taken from which mercenary, Curt pretended to be relaxed and fiddled with the joint. The previous magic impact only caused some physical damage, and the recovery speed was much faster than the breakage. Although his arm was still a little stiff, his movement was no longer a problem.

"Hmph, what are you saying about the 'optimal solution'... Do you think this is true?" Liqi sneered at Curt's defense, waved her hand casually, and signaled him to look in another direction. "You should sort out faster than these indifferent things. We have to solve more troublesome things."

Just behind her, the mercenaries who were able to line up neatly formed formations not long ago were already lying around the streets. They were tilted around and lost consciousness, but their steady breathing at least proved that these tenacious guys were not in danger of their lives...at most they were just sleeping.

At first glance, Curt felt that they were somewhat similar to what happened to Hyuk himself, both in an abnormal coma. The magic that previously supported their activities changed from its previous stable appearance, absorbing the magic power in their bodies like a leech.

Perhaps Liqi's reverse interpretation destroyed the spell that interfered with the entire city, and the entire magic structure showed a strange skew. With their location as the center, the trajectory of the magic power became disorganized, as if it turned into a beast that could break free from its shackles at any time.

Not only that, the cloud covering the city was torn apart, and a little moonlight sprinkled onto the ground through the gaps in the clouds, reflecting a strange purple light. The heterogeneous magic power was given a stranger nature under the moonlight, and the glow made people feel uneasy.

Some mist spread from the corners, bringing more mysterious feelings to the downpour of rain. Curt noticed that the mist seemed to have some strange properties, and they quickly flowed out of the corners of the walls and stretched little by little to the bodies of the mercenaries who fell to the ground.

After laughing dryly, Curt smiled helplessly: "It's really an exaggerated situation... Should I say it's you? But what's going on with this strange spell? It seems that there are a lot of 'things' connected to the magic network inside the city."

Mercenaries and spells seemed to have become part of this huge magic cube array, and their vitality was drawn out bit by bit, and then converted into part of the strong magic. The strange fog seemed to be attracted by the magic, which kept flowing to them.

Not only that, Curt felt that the "sense of distortion" he felt was still expanding.

This is a very subtle feeling, and Curt didn't even know how to put this feeling into words. He just felt that everything around him was in an ambiguous state. They seemed to be right in front of him, but they lacked the sense of reality they should have, as if they were just an illusion.

"Do you still remember that weird 'twilight'?"

Liqi walked slowly to Curt, and a swaying flame lit on her raised fingers - bright, but she could not feel any temperature. The blue light was like a piece of ice. The radiance scattered from it painted a little dark blue on the surrounding things.

What a wonderful flame... Curt couldn't help but stare at Liqi's fingertips, she swayed the flame at will to let it illuminate more areas.

The magic power circled around the pale flame, then was sucked into it, transforming into another stable form. The spreading mist suddenly twitched, and then retreated slightly back to the area not illuminated by the flame...it looked like they knew fear as well.

"If that is the 'realization of dreams', then now it is the 'realization of dreams'." Ignoring Curt's reaction, Liqi continued casually, "Although the principle is a little more complicated than it sounds, its purpose is to create a scene that can control the 'dream person'."

It is impossible to see whether everything in front of you is real or dreaming. The whole city is shrouded in this strange "dream". In other words, the city of Katris has become a stage controlled by spells. What incredible things happen is ultimately the other party's will.

In the swaying fire, it seemed that a film gradually faded from the surface of the things in front of me. For some reason, when these things that were not physically disappeared, the ambiguous feeling that was covered around them disappeared immediately, and the streets wet by the rain finally returned to their due real sense.

"How is it? Are you interested in going to walk in everyone's dreams?"

Liqi smiled slightly, raised her finger and slammed the flame out. After the light faded, only the increasingly thicker and thicker fog appeared in the darkness. (To be continued, please search for Astronomy, the novel is better and faster!
