Chapter 10 Entering

"The secret talisman of the Purple Mansion?" Qiao Zhi shook his head when he heard this: "But the talisman's words... generally include official positions, real names, fasting and rituals, and rituals, and rituals.

Those are all things that are needed for the practice of the divine Tao. Among the 25 Dharmas, there are also Taoist techniques that belong to the divine Tao. However, I have never heard of the secret talisman of the Purple Palace. It should be something that is not in the ordinary. Where did you hear it?"

Chu Qiguang smiled and concealed his disappointment: "I heard from a few old men at the entrance of the village before."

He thought to himself: "The secret talisman of the Purple Mansion may be my only hope to return to the earth, and I don't know if I can find it."

"Those old men know how to brag and spank all day long, just listen to their words." Qiao Zhi continued: "Let's go on to talk about practicing Taoism. There are many ways to get started in the world. Each sect has its own methods. There are countless ways to keep precepts, chant scriptures, rituals, and refine qi. But these are too messy, and it is even more difficult for ordinary people to distinguish the differences in the realm.

Fortunately, this founding father of the Han Dynasty, Qi Mingde, the Duke of Zhongwu, was ordered by the emperor to collect Taoist arts from all over the world, and used ancient classics to classify the spiritual realm before entering the Tao into five levels."

Just as the cat fairy flicked her tail, the sound rang in Chu Qiguang's heart like a morning bell and evening drum: "This is to achieve five realms of concentration, tranquility, peace, and worry."

"I will teach you the first step toward meditation today. Don't underestimate this first realm. How many practitioners have been meditating hard and recited scriptures for more than ten years, but they may not be able to reach this realm."

"But you are a banished immortal in heaven after all. If you practice hard, you should be able to do it for more than ten days of hard work."

Listening to what Qiao Zhi said, Chu Qiguang was secretly urging in his heart. His family knew his family affairs. He was not a banished immortal from heaven. He was just an old fried dough stick on the earth. How could he have any talent in cultivation?

‘If I practice ten days and half a month, I will not achieve much. I wonder if this cat will doubt my identity…’

Chu Qiguang was already sitting cross-legged under the guidance of the other party, closing his eyes, and only the whistling night wind and Qiao Zhi's voice came from the bottom of his heart.

"Ordinary people walk, sit and lie down, thinking a lot, and all kinds of distracting thoughts are endless.

The first step in practicing Taoism is to eliminate distracting thoughts, calm your mind, not be disturbed by external objects, and keep the spiritual platform clear and clear. Entering into meditation can also replace part of sleep. Persistence can enhance memory and reaction, so that you can make your ears and eyes clear and your mind flexible.

However, it is still difficult to reach the state of meditation for the first time when you practice Taoism. Now write the word "quiet" in your mind first, try your best to gather all your thoughts until you only have the word "quiet" in your mind..."

After a while, Qiao Zhi suddenly stopped and looked at Chu Qiguang who was motionless in front of him and said in surprise: "I actually entered a state of meditation for the first time? This is the first level of cultivation. I have seen many geniuses and geniuses, but the fastest one took four days to successfully break the first level. This kid's qualifications are so good."

"I am worthy of being a banished immortal who has descended to earth and has great talent."

The orange cat kept licking her hair happily, and smiled and said with a smile: "Now, I'll be sure to let you enter the Tao within five years. There will be another top-notch cat lover in the world."

Chu Qiguang felt that he was thinking nothing in his heart at this moment, but he knew his own situation and the surrounding environment very clearly.

When he entered into meditation, he felt relaxed wholeheartedly, and his brain seemed to have removed countless burdens and was in an unprecedented cultivation.

However, a little longer, Chu Qiguang felt distracting thoughts gradually surged again, his forehead seemed to be itchy, the wind could be heard in his ears, his waist was a little sore, and his stomach kept feeling hungry...

As distracting thoughts arise, Chu Qiguang finally couldn't help but retreated from the state of entering into meditation.

Seeing him opening his eyes and scratching his face, Qiao Zhi smiled and said, "Although you successfully entered into meditation for the first time, your spiritual realm is not a permanent achievement. If you are not careful, you will be at risk of falling, so you need to keep your heart at all times.

It is easy to conquer the country, but difficult to defend the country. The same is true in this regard. If you can maintain a state of meditation anytime and anywhere, you will be considered as breaking the second level."

Chu Qiguang recalled the feeling of entering into meditation just now and said happily: "Cultivating Taoism is so simple? Are there no mysterious things like spiritual energy, golden elixirs, and Yuanying?"

"Simple? Do you know that it's just this step, and I don't know how long it took to stop an ordinary person. If you didn't have the wisdom of your past life, you wouldn't be so easy."

Qiao Zhi explained: "As for the mysterious things, they can only be understood by real masters. Because human language can no longer describe the realm they have reached. Learning that kind of thing at your current level is a dead end. You can't even think about cultivating real things for a hundred years."

After explaining it casually, Qiao Zhi changed the subject and said, "Okay, okay, let's talk less next and continue practicing.

Every time you enter into meditation, you are the ultimate relaxation and maintenance of your spirit. People usually think too much and are too tired every day. Only in this way can they be strengthened by daily maintenance.

Just like the so-called "raising a soldier for a thousand days", the key lies in the word "raising". Only by eating and drinking well every day and having enough sleep can the soldiers become stronger.

Entering meditation is the best maintenance for the spirit, which is called nourishing energy and revitalizing energy."

Qiao Zhi shook his tail and continued, shaking his head and saying, "If you insist on entering into meditation every day to maintain your spirit, your spirit will gradually become stronger, and your memory and reaction will increase bit by bit in the future. If you persist in entering into meditation every day for a long time, you will become more and more intelligent, smart, flexible, and you will be able to achieve twice the result with half the effort in anything you do."

Chu Qiguang closed his eyes and began to try to practice entering into meditation again, but this time it was a little more difficult than just now. There were always distracting thoughts in his heart, and it took a long time to enter the state.

After entering into meditation, Chu Qiguang felt a sense of relaxation of his whole body and mind again, and his brain was also fully cultivated.

After about a cup of tea of meditation, Chu Qiguang couldn't bear the restlessness in his heart again, and withdrew from the state of meditation. He stood up and moved his hands and feet, and was urged by Qiao Zhi to continue practicing again.

Just by stopping and practicing, Chu Qiguang felt that it was getting more and more difficult to enter into meditation. Every time he entered into meditation, there were more and more distracting thoughts, various heartbeats, skin itching, and even the feeling of the night wind blowing over his body were all infinitely amplified, making his heart unable to calm down again.

Finally, after exiting the state of meditation again, Chu Qiguang found that he was extremely irritable and could not enter the state of meditation again.
