Chapter 402 The Three Good Lords

Chapter 402 The Three Good Prince

Li Tianzhi proposed the conditions on behalf of Fatty Lu. Of course, Prince Geng Jingzhong, who took the initiative to propose peace negotiations, could not agree. When the local strength was not too disadvantageous, he bowed to the Fatty Army to offer the entire territory of Zhejiang, and had to bow to Fatty Lu who ran into the Wanghai Tower of the Jingnan Prince's Mansion to beg for him, pay tribute and pay tribute. His self-esteem was very strong, Prince Geng could not swallow this breath.

There is another more important point. Most of Zhejiang, which has been exhausted for countless manpower and material resources, can never easily agree to the conditions of the Fat Sect Army as long as it is not water from the head. Therefore, after receiving the Fat Sect Army's reply, the first thing Prince Geng did was to overturn the table in front of him, curse the 18th generation of ancestors of Fat Sect and Li Tianzhi, and muster up the courage to go out of the city to fight again, and strive to use force to drive away the Fat Sect Army's southern expedition army that was entangled like a gangrene attached to the bone.

Unfortunately, Prince Geng wanted to fight to the decisive battle, but Li Tianzhi did not want to fight to the decisive battle. Needless to say, the consequences of losing the decisive battle will be better than the winner. Therefore, as soon as Prince Geng's army was launched, the Fatty Army immediately divided into two groups. The main force retreated over the Dongyang River and stationed on the west bank. Some of the troops hid in Lanxi City and defended the enemy with the strong city and the powerful cannon. Even if they had the chance, they would not take action to defeat the enemy. Prince Geng could not capture several times. The soldiers suffered heavy casualties and consumed huge food and supplies. He had no choice but to retreat to Jinhua City. The main force of the Fatty Army calmly crossed the river and continued to bite Prince Geng's tail.

At this point, Prince Geng had only three choices left. One was to agree to the humiliating conditions of the Fatty Army; the other was to divide the troops into two groups, leaving part of the army to defend the major cities in Zhejiang, and the other part quickly returned to Fujian to fight with Zheng Jing, who was trampling Prince Geng's old nest. However, this decision was equivalent to a war between two lines and division of his own forces. Not only would he be easily defeated by each one, but it was also likely to attract Shang Zhixin's jackal and fell into the danger of fighting on the third line.

The third choice was proposed by Prince Geng's confidant Liu Yunxiang, who carried out his confidant, and sent envoys to communicate with Zheng Jing, acknowledge the land gains captured by Zheng Jing in Fujian, and use the existing controlled areas as the boundary to fight the aggressive Fat Soldiers' Army. Liu Yunxiang also believes that in front of the powerful Fat Soldiers' Army, Geng's army and Zheng's army are actually in a relationship of losing their lips and cold teeth. If the Geng's army is destroyed, the Zheng army will not have a good life! By the same token, if the Zheng army is destroyed, the Geng's army will not be able to live alone in front of the Fat Soldiers' Army. Instead of choosing to surrender to the Fat Soldiers' Army and kill each other with Zheng Jing, it is better to join forces with Zheng Jing to kill the Fat Soldiers' Army, consolidate the gains of living in Zhejiang first, and free up their hands to regain the Fujian land robbed by Zheng Jing!

It has to be admitted that although Liu Yunxiang's proposal is crazy, it is absolutely strategically correct. No matter who fights alone, Geng Jingzhong and Zheng Jing cannot be the opponent of the Fat Sect Army. The only way is to give up conflicts and disputes and work together, so that Geng Jingzhong and Zheng Jing can achieve a win-win situation. Our Prince Geng has been confused for most of his life and death. At this critical moment of life and death, he finally became rational once. After thinking about it for a while, he resolutely made a wise choice and sent Jiang Yuanxun, who was able to get a chance to return to Fujian day and night, went to Quanzhou to pay a visit to Zheng Jing and request a truce to resist the fat Sect Army's southern invasion.

Because Wenzhou was still under the control of Geng's army, Jiang Yuanxun immediately boarded Shanghai ships south after arriving in Wenzhou, and arrived in Quanzhou without much time. At the same time, the Zheng army, who had escaped the burden of Hangzhou, had captured the eight counties of Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Xinghua, Shaowu, Chaozhou, Huizhou, Longyan and Tingzhou under the strong restraint of the Fatty Army. Their strength has increased greatly and has basically gained a foothold on the mainland. It has also surrounded Yanping Prefecture, the largest grain-producing land of Geng Jingzhong's army. Geng Jingzhong's uncle Geng Jishan barely managed to save Yanping's lonely city, but the army suffered more than half of the casualties, and the city was shaking. He sent letters to Geng Jingzhong three times in a row, and the situation was as dangerous as it was.

The situation was so critical that Jiang Yuanxun did not dare to delay. As soon as the sea boat approached the Quanzhou wharf, he immediately revealed his identity to the Zheng army on the wharf and presented a gift to ask Zheng Jing to meet him immediately. However, what Jiang Yuanxun never dreamed was that his normal request was actually rejected by Zheng Jing's rudeness, and he also replied to order Jiang Yuanxun to get out immediately and let Geng Jingzhong clean his neck and wait for death. Jiang Yuanxun secretly cursed Zheng Jing's short-sightedness but refused to give up. He begged repeatedly in front of Zheng Jing's gate, and asked for money and gifts to be given again, Zheng Jing's personal soldiers reported it again, only to meet Zheng Jing.

Fortunately, Jiang Yuanxun's luck was pretty good. Chen Junyin, the official Zheng officer of Zheng, happened to come to Zheng Jingcheng for a meeting with him for business, and happened to run into Jiang Yuanxun. After Jiang Yuanxun finished speaking about his purpose, Chen Junyin, who had a very strategic vision, immediately realized that the opportunity was coming and asked Jiang Yuanxun to wait for a while. He went in and persuaded Zheng Jing to meet Jiang Yuanxun. After Chen Junyin's bitter persuasion, Zheng Jing finally agreed to meet Jiang Yuanxun.

Meeting may not necessarily mean that Jiang Yuanxun will succeed in this trip. After Jiang Yuanxun explained his intentions in front of Zheng Jing and the civil and military officials of the Yanping Palace, Zheng Jing and most of the civil and military officials of the Yanping Palace were not ecstatic because Geng Jingzhong took the initiative to seek peace, but instead laughed wildly together. Zheng Jing also laughed: "Mr. Jiang, your Prince Geng's head must be in water, right? I have had a covenant with Prince Lu, and I will attack you from the north and south. You Prince Geng actually wants to ask for peace from the king? Let me betray my king, break my trust from Prince Lu, and break my trust from the world?"

"Best Prince, this is not a problem of breaking trust in the world, but a problem of losing your lips and cold teeth." Jiang Yuanxun said with neither humility nor arrogant words: "Your army is the teeth, and our army is the lips. If our army is destroyed, your army is isolated and there is no help. It will be the time when Lu Yifeng attacks your army."

"Lord Jiang doesn't have to worry about this." Zheng Jing replied proudly: "I have already signed an alliance with Lu Yifeng. After killing Geng Jingzhong's children, I and Lu Yifeng tied the boundaries of Fujian Province to the borders, and did not invade each other and joined forces to fight against the Qing Dynasty! Lu Yifeng's credit is hundreds of times stronger than your Prince Geng."

"Lu Yifeng is indeed trustworthy, and the little envoy admits this." Jiang Yuanxun said tit-for-tat: "But the little envoy can see that Lu Yifeng's so-called good credit is just to keep his promise when he feels that he should keep his promise. When he feels that keeping his promise will endanger his own interests, the so-called credit is not worth half a penny in his eyes."

"Strange words, what are the evidence?" Zheng Jing snorted coldly.

"Of course there is evidence." Jiang Yuanxun replied loudly: "The young envoy dared not deceive Prince Yanping. Although our army fought with Lu Yifeng for several months, the secret messengers had never stopped contacting each other. Our army asked for peace from Lu Yifeng, but Lu Yifeng did not refuse. He just proposed to ask for the entire territory of Zhejiang and draw the territory of Fujian Province with our Jingnan Prince's Mansion. From this we can see that Lu Yifeng's alliance with the army was just to drive the tiger and swallow the wolf, drive our army back to Fujian and kill each other with the army. He watched the fire from the side and took advantage of the profits!"

Jiang Yuanxun's words finally made Zheng Jing serious. The civil and military officials in the Yanping Palace also whispered, whispered and discussed the possible. While Chen Junyin took the opportunity to leave, he bowed to Zheng Jing and said: "Prince, Bei Zhi believes that Lord Jiang's words are reasonable. Lu Yifeng is known for his treacherousness. Wu Fan's important strategies after the rebellion were all from his plans. Now, while he formed an alliance with our army to fight Geng, he secretly broke up with Geng's army, and made peace in private, and tried his best to urge Geng Jingzhong's main force to return to Fujian. The purpose is very sinister and simple, which is to drive the tiger and swallow the wolf and use Zheng Jing's knife to kill us."

Zheng Jing's eyes were swaying and began to shake. He never thought that Chen Shengwu, a Taiwanese soldier who had one of the culprits in history, jumped out and pointed to Jiang Yuanxun's nose and asked: "You are here to slander Prince Lu Yifeng with red mouths and white teeth, and provoke the relationship between our Yanping Palace and the Yue Palace. It's unfounded. What evidence do you have? Take out evidence in black and white words!"

Jiang Yuanxun was stunned for a moment, and then he discovered another layer of insidiousness in Fatty Lu. The fat man army and Geng Jun had no secret contact with each other ten times, but they did not fall into paper once. They all replied verbally, and they went there to find evidence to prove that they were not lying?

"Can't you take it out?" Chen Shengwu looked at the words and saw that Jiang Yuanxun looked embarrassed, and immediately realized that Jiang Yuanxun had no evidence at all. In a proud manner, Chen Shengwu turned to Zheng Jing and bowed and said, "Prince, please check it clearly. Geng Jingzhong's son sent an envoy here to talk nonsense and frame and slander. The purpose is only to provoke the intimate relationship between our army and the Great Zhou army and the Great Zhou army, and to destroy the alliance between our army and the Great Zhou army. His intention is to deceive our army into truce, not only to protect their Fujian Prefecture, but also to make you lose your trust in the world, and to make you bear the eternal infamy."

Zheng Jing shook a chill and suddenly remembered that the last time he refused to save the Fatty Army, which almost caused the Fatty Army to start a war against him. In the end, he returned to Hangzhou Paradise with both hands to calm Fatty Lu's anger. This time, if he was moved by Geng Jingzhong's envoy again and turned against Fatty Lu again, not only would the Fatty Army definitely raise a revenge, but he would also leave an eternal infamous among the Han people.

"Your Majesty, it's not that Xiao Envoy can't come up with evidence. Lu Yifeng is really too cunning." Jiang Yuanxun quickly explained: "Our army has contacted Lu Yifeng at least ten times. The young envoy has even seen Lu Yifeng once, but Lu Yifeng is extremely cunning. He did not leave any ink chit paper every time, and he responded verbally! Xiao Envoy is even sure that with Lu Yifeng's treacherous and carefulness, unless a formal agreement is reached, Lu Yifeng will never leave any evidence for our army!"

"There is no evidence, of course you can say whatever you want." Chen Shengwu sneered: "When we deceive our prince and turn against Prince Yue, even if we find that we are fooled, your goal will be achieved."

"If you just say this, it counts, then I can say that too." Liu Yinglin, the former general of Geng Jun Huaiyuan who surrendered from Geng Jingzhong's team to Zheng Jing's command, also said sarcastically: "Prince Yue sent someone to tell me yesterday that after he caught Geng Jingzhong, he would burn Geng Jingzhong into the toilet like he was against the Mangou Emperor and give it to our Yanping Palace for public use."

Except for Chen Junyin and a few other people, all the other Zheng army civil servants and generals burst into laughter. Jiang Yuanxun was angry, but inconvenient to refute. Chen Yonghua returned to Taiwan again. Seeing that Zheng Jing did not stop him, the Zheng army civil servants led by Chen Shengwu and Wu Shu were even more unscrupulous. They all advised Zheng Jing not to believe Jiang Yuanxun's nonsense, which ruined the current good situation and attracted the jackals and tigers of the fat army. Zheng Jing, who was dedicated to Zhongming, had already despised Geng Jingzhong and had never considered joining forces with Geng Jun to fight fat. After being encouraged by the generals under his command, the initial wavering was quickly left behind.

Finally, Zheng Jing finally waved his hand to interrupt the noise of the generals and said to Jiang Yuanxun with a smile: "Mr. Jiang, I heard that the name I gave you is also known to you, and I know that you are very talented, but Geng Jingzhong's child is blind and does not value you very much. I am very sorry for you and want to keep you under my command and listen to it. Join forces with me to revive the Ming Dynasty. I wonder if you have this interest?"

Jiang Yuanxun's face began to turn blue. Although Jiang Yuanxun was indeed not worthy of Geng Jingzhong's value and often sighed that he was not satisfied with his talent, this does not mean that Jiang Yuanxun wanted to betray Geng Jingzhong and defect to Zheng Jing, who was more short-sighted than Geng Jingzhong. So Jiang Yuanxun quickly gritted his teeth and replied: "Thank you for your kindness, but the loyal ministers do not serve the second master. Although Jiang Yuanxun is not talented, he is unwilling to do something to sell his master and seek honor!"

"Then whatever you want." Zheng Jing didn't force himself, and said with a relaxed expression: "Then go back and tell Geng Jingzhong that the king and Lu Yifeng had a covenant before, and wanted me to abandon the alliance and break the faith and dream!"

"Prince!" Chen Junyin quickly stepped out and knelt down on his knees and said, "Prince, please think twice. To form an alliance with Geng Jingzhong will be beneficial to our army without any harm. It can not only gain time to consolidate the eight counties of the mainland, but also to recuperate and preserve strength. When you are close, you can borrow Geng Jingzhong's power to block the more dangerous Lu Yifeng for us!"

"Prince, Lord Chen's words are all right." Jiang Yuanxun also struggled to death: "Associate with our army and put the existing land as the boundary to fight. Our army is the northern barrier of your army. Your army can also free up hands to fight south with peace of mind, kill Shang Zhixin and seize Guangzhou, Shaozhou and Nanxiong three prefectures, and cut off Lu Yifeng's wings in Guangdong and Guangxi. It will be beneficial to your army without any harm!"

"Prince, please don't fall into a trap!" Chen Shengwu shouted: "Geng Jingzhong's son has been untrustworthy. He deceived our army and Prince Lu, and deceived our army to start a war against Shang Zhixin. He suddenly formed an alliance with Prince Lu to go south. Our army was attacked from north to south. How can we resist?"

"Yes, Prince, last time Geng Jingzhong promised us to land in Quanzhou. Before the moji was dry, he immediately sent troops to intercept our army, continued to move to the boundary and ban the sea, and killed countless military and civilians in Taiwan. This is a bloody lesson!" Several civil and military officials of the Zheng army started to yell. When talking about this old incident, the Zheng army, who had been fooled by Geng Jingzhong, were even more indignant and agreed to a ceasefire with Geng Jingzhong.

"What's the argument?" Zheng Jing shouted loudly, stopped the excited Zheng Jun civil and military generals, and pointed at Jiang Yuanxun and said, "Okay, for your sweet words, I will give you a chance to go back and tell Geng Jingzhong that he can make an truce with me, but he must give up the entire territory of Fujian so that I can believe his sincerity!"

The generals of the Zheng army burst into laughter again and praised Prince Zheng for his wise decision-making. Only when Geng Jingzhong gave up the entire Fujian area, Prince Yanping's Mansion could join forces with Geng Jingzhong. Jiang Yuanxun lowered his head in despair, and Chen Junyin also closed his eyes helplessly, and cursed in his heart, "Short-eyed, a group of idiots!"

Jiang Yuanxun returned to the dock in great disappointment. When he boarded the ship and was about to head north, Chen Junyin, the only one in Yanping Palace, came to see Jiang Yuanxun off, and brought even worse news to Jiang Yuanxun. The main force of the Zheng army, who was reinforced by Liu Guoxuan's new army, had already broken through Yanping Palace City. Geng Jingzhong's uncle Geng Jishan successfully broke through and fled to Jian'an City, Jianning Palace City to the north. Geng Jingzhong's army was in Fujian, and only two areas were left in Fuzhou and Jianning. The morale of the Zheng army was greatly boosted. He had begun to discuss how to attack Fuzhou Prefecture and Jianning Palace and eradicate Geng Jingzhong's last power in Fujian.

Hearing this news, Jiang Yuanxun could only smile bitterly, and Chen Junyin even smiled bitterly. Everyone knew that war was inevitable. Geng Jingzhong's main force would soon bow to the fat man army, turn around and kill Zheng Jing. After sighing, Chen Junyin kindly advised: "Master Jiang, why don't you stay? You just go back like this, I'm afraid Prince Geng won't forgive you."

"What's the use of staying?" Jiang Yuanxun sighed: "Although there are quite a few troops in the Yanping Palace, how can it be the opponent of our main force of the Jingnan Palace on the land battlefield? When our main force returns to Fujian and drives your army back to Taiwan, I will not only be unable to escape and die, but will also leave the eternal infamy of selling the owners and seeking honor, and will be infamous for thousands of years."

Chen Junyin sighed, knowing that Jiang Yuanxun was all about the truth, and seeing that Jiang Yuanxun had made up his mind, Chen Junyin didn't force himself, so he could only sigh and send Jiang Yuanxun to Shanghai ship and sail back to Wenzhou. When Jiang Yuanxun stepped on the springboard, Chen Junyin suddenly said to him again, "Mr. Jiang, although you and I are both loyal victims, you and I have failed, but it may not be a bad thing. At least, our failure can promote the reunification of China's country and the people will suffer less from war."

Jiang Yuanxun was stunned for a moment, nodded gently, and then left the Shanghai boat and ordered the boatman to set sail.

………………………………………

As Jiang Yuanxun and Chen Junyin expected, after receiving the news that Zheng Jing refused to truce and the Zheng army captured the grain-producing area of Yanping Prefecture, Prince Geng, who was in trouble internally and externally, was completely desperate. Zheng Jing in the south wanted Fujian to kill him even more, Fatty Lu in the north wanted his Zhejiang, and Shang Zhixin was ready to cut meat from him with sharpening his knife. Prince Geng could not stop so many enemies from attacking at the same time.

At no cost, Prince Geng had to reconsider accepting Fatty Lu's humiliation conditions. However, when things came to this point, Prince Geng suddenly realized that the conditions offered by the Fatty Army were not very harsh. Compared with Zheng Jing, surrendering to the Fatty Army was also the most beneficial to Prince Geng, because the Fatty Army had the strongest overall strength. Surrendering to the Fatty Army could not only avoid the strongest enemy, but also allow Shang Zhixin to turn his gun and attack Zheng Jing. At the same time, he could get a sum of money and food from the Fatty Army to maintain the war to recover Fujian. However, it would be better to surrender to Zheng Jing - it would be fine if Prince Zheng, who was so poor that he would not reach out to Prince Geng.

After much thought, on the 28th day of the first lunar month of the first year of Honghua in the Great Zhou Dynasty, Geng Jingzhong finally sent his second son Geng Xianzu and his confidant Liu Yunxiang to enlist the Fat Son Army, requesting a ceasefire negotiation, and agreed to submit a letter of compliment to the Fat Son Army with the reputation of the President and General of the Great Zhou Dynasty that the old traitor of Wu, promising to abide by the will of Emperor Gao of the Great Zhou Dynasty, accepting the control of Fat Son Army, and agreeing to give up the entire territory of Zhejiang, Geng Jingzhong's army fully returned to Fujian.

Geng Xianzu and Liu Yunxiang were warmly received by Li Tianzhi and Li Zhifang in the Fatty Army camp. Geng Jingzhong sent his son to request a truce, which already represented enough sincerity. Li Tianzhi and Li Zhifang naturally would not make things difficult for him. It was also at this time that Li Tianzhi finally presented the edict of Fatty Lu's King of Yue, announcing Fatty Lu as the King of Jinghai of the Great Zhou with the reputation of the Regent of the Great Zhou Dynasty, and rewarded the prince with the double salary. Geng Xianzha, the eldest son of Geng Jingzhong who stayed in Fuzhou, was the prince of King of Jinghai, and Geng Xianzha, and Geng Xianzha, was named First Class Haicheng Duke. Geng Jingzhong's relatives and main subordinates also had rewards.

In addition, Li Tianzhi also announced an unexpected decision on behalf of Fatty Lu, that is, the Fatty Army considering that Geng Jingzhong has only two prefectures left in Fujian, Fuzhou and Jianning, and the strategic depth is too small, so Geng Jingzhong can temporarily not transfer it to Wenzhou Prefecture, allowing Geng Jingzhong to station troops and food in Wenzhou before regaining half of Fujian's prefecture, and then hand it over to Wenzhou to the Fatty Army!

The fat army took the initiative to make concessions when they had the advantage. Geng Xianzu and Liu Yunxiang were of course overjoyed. Then Geng Xianzu said to Li Tianzhi timidly: "General, my father has a reluctant request. In order to capture Zhejiang for the Zhou Dynasty, his father sacrificed more than 100,000 soldiers and spent countless money, grain and supplies. Now his father handed over to Prince Lu to the entire Zhejiang territory. Can Prince Lu make some compensation?"

Speaking of this, Geng Xianzu quickly added: "General, don't misunderstand me. My father is definitely not greedy. Most of his father's grain production land was stolen by Zheng Jing's son, especially Yanping Prefecture. Grain production accounts for more than 40% of Fujian, and was also stolen by Zheng Jing's son. Without Prince Lu's support for money and grain, my father would really find it difficult for him to recover the entire Fujian province for the Zhou court."

"Second Prince, how many do you want?" Li Tianzhi asked with a smile.

Geng Xianzu swallowed and said carefully: "General, the young nephew dared to speak. My father hoped that Prince Lu could support 100,000 stones of food and grass, 500,000 taels of military salary, 1,000 three good rockets, 1,000 grenades, 1,000 three good mobilizers, and 30 sea ships."

Li Tianzhi didn't speak, looking a little surprised. Liu Yunxiang next to him saw that the situation was wrong and quickly said, "General, if the military supplies of your army are nervous, our prince will not force you. These numbers can be discussed."

Li Tianzhi and Li Zhifang both laughed. Li Tianzhi picked up another list and handed it to Geng Xianzu and Liu Yunxiang, and said with a smile: "This is what our prince is preparing to give you. There are 150,000 stones of food and grass, 800,000 taels of military salary, 2,000 rockets and grenades, 3,000 moor bottles, 50 bird boats for sea use, and 20 mother cannons and supporting ammunition."

"Really? The General and Lord Li are not kidding?!" Geng Xianzu and Liu Yunxiang jumped up together in surprise. Seeing Li Tianzhi and Li Zhifang smiled and nodded together, Geng Xianzu and Liu Yunxiang were so excited that they grabbed Li Tianzhi and Li Zhifang's hands together, and said repeatedly: "Good prince, love and righteousness, they are indeed the third good prince!"

After Geng Xianzu and Liu Yunxiang returned to Jinhua City happily and reported the good news to Geng Jingzhong, Geng Jingzhong was surprised by the great benevolence and righteousness of the Fat Sect Army, and signed the letter without hesitation. On the next day, he went to the Fat Sect Army camp in person, bowed and knelt down to receive the seal of King Jinghai that Fat Sect had prepared for him, becoming the first Great Zhou vassal king of the Great Zhou court since the establishment of the Great Zhou court. He negotiated with Li Tianzhi in person all the details of the transfer of the entire Zhejiang territory, and gave up Jinhua City on the first day of the February 1st, led his army back to Wenzhou, and ordered Chuzhou, Taizhou and Quzhou to transfer defense to the Fat Sect Army, retreated to Wenzhou to gather, preparing to start the war to regain the entire Fujian territory - to recover the Great Zhou court.

It was also on the way to withdraw the troops that Prince Geng realized that the smell was wrong. In order to capture Zhejiang, he paid more than three or four times the military salary of 150,000 shi of military rations and 800,000 taels of silver. Fatty Lu only took out one-third or even one-quarter of the capital - and paid in installments, so he took away all the profits. Why should he be grateful to him?

"Bah! The profiteer!" Prince Geng spat heavily and scolded again, "The profiteer!"

Note: Zheng Jing's short-sighted rejection of Geng Jingzhong's request for peace was not fiction. It was true in history. In history, Geng Zheng formed an alliance. Zheng Jing took advantage of the opportunity of Geng's main force going north to Zhejiang and indeed captured all prefectures in Fujian Province except Fuzhou, Jianning and Yanping. Even so, in order to unite and resist the Qing Dynasty, Geng Jingzhong did not transfer back to the main force of the anti-Qing against Zheng Jing, and showed a rare strategic vision and a relatively broad mind.

Later, Jieshu led the Qing army into Fujian and surrounded Fuzhou and Yanping. Geng Jingzhong sent his capable general Wang Jingong to Quanzhou to ask Zheng Jing for help. Zheng Jing not only did not send one army and one soldier to rescue Geng Jingzhong, but also forced Wang Jingong to be the admiral of Taiwan Kuang Mingbo. Geng Jingzhong was forced to surrender to Jieshu. Then he immediately led the remaining main force of Geng's army to launch a counterattack on Zheng Jing. It took only ten months to recover the entire territory of Fujian and drove Zheng Jing back to Taiwan. Unfortunately, Geng Jingzhong recovered Kang Mazi. Five years later, Geng Jingzhong was deceived back to Beijing by Kang Mazi and executed by Ling Chi.
