A few lights were lit in the room to dispel the darkness of the early winter morning. Leo lay on his desk, and a yellowed scroll spread out in front of him. It was written with black and red pigments crossed with secret words, recording mysterious and ancient alchemy formulas.

Li Ou wrote quickly and used the secret texts passed down from his family to take notes. He took a specious description, and then explained his explanation and ideas in an as mysterious and ambiguous way as possible. His notes have been recorded in a large stack. Although they will soon be burned down by him, he is still cautious and tirelessly added large and deceptive attributions and descriptions to the simple narrative to confuse thieves who may not exist.

The room was quiet, and time gradually passed with the rustling strokes. When the golden sand in the hourglass flowed to the end, the wooden bird under the hourglass crashed out of the bird house, making a crisp sound of time.

The nine consecutive chirpings made Leo panic.

"Damn it, there's not enough time!"

Even the sentences written in the middle were too late, and stood up. He hurriedly packed the scrolls and notes on the table. He wrapped them in a ball and clamped them under his armpits. He walked to the fireplace in the study, leaned down and reached into the smoked smoke, groped and opened the hidden storage lattice, stuffed them all in. After doing all this, Li Ou breathed a sigh of relief. He glanced around and confirmed that there was no omission, then he panickedly grabbed a certificate with a magic mark on the desk and stuffed it into his trouser pocket. He pulled off the coat hanging on the hanger, rushed out the door, while cushioningly put his arms into the coat.

The property left by Leo's parents is located on the end of a relatively remote street.

The moss-covered building is full of Heroy style from top to bottom. The suspended design protruding outward above the second floor brings a larger space. The roof is surrounded by the ends of a spire, and each is surrounded by a statue that looks like an alchemy puppet. The sharp minions and dark pupils exude a heart-wrenching evil spirit from the inside out.

The first floor wall facing the street was transformed into two louvered doors. The one located below can be used as a display shed for commodities after opening horizontally, while the one above can become an eaves. However, both doors are closed now, as if trying to avoid them, blocking the peeping of those with ulterior motives. However, for now, this remote street is not like the bustling Silver Maple Leaf Street one street at all. Only a few people walked here with regret and hurriedly walked towards the more lively street ahead.

Therefore, Leo ran easily without worrying about hitting the stalls on the street, and being squeezed by the narrow stalls and becoming a huge crowd like a long snake. He quickly passed by the doors of a few shops, catching up with the few people who had left. However, at the intersection, Leo had to stop.

Li Ou looked back at the house that looked gloomy and dark under the dazzling sunlight, staring at the closed blind door. His face showed a strange expression of sadness, attachment and self-blame. But then, the expression in Li Ou's eyes became firm.

As long as he obtains the top spot in this qualification exam, Li Ou can let his parents work hard for many years, but the store that was taken away from the management rights because of their death opened again. He tightened his fists and encouraged himself in his heart. He would never allow himself to fail.

Silver Maple Leaf Street is the most famous street in the alchemy capital Aiyinbulo. Its history can be traced back to the time before Aiyinbulo was founded, and it was called "the core and origin of everything" by the creators. On this street that lasts for several miles, countless alchemy shops and magic shops are densely distributed. Even travelers from neighboring countries, even foreign races who wander here are shuttled back and forth on this street. Therefore, although it is only the time for the shop to open, there are already crowds of people on the street.

Leo was already very familiar with this place. Therefore, he did not focus on the shops on both sides of the street like the guests coming and going. He was crowded in the crowd, but the crowded crowd always hindered his pace. Leo was like a sardine that was about to suffocate in the fish. His helpless efforts and struggle made him more anxious.

"Look at the way!" A middle-aged man with a bald head who was accidentally stepped on by Leo's feet yelled at him in anger.

Before Leo could even apologize, the other party pushed Leo heavily on him.

"Get out of the way!" the other party said angrily.

Leo did get out of the way. However, as the crowd pushed, Leo, who had lost his balance, was like a rubber ball bounced around in a narrow space, unable to control his body again. He fell to the side and hit a person next to him. The man seemed to have not noticed Leo who was stumbled. Unpredictable, the two fell heavily to the ground together. Leo almost heard the unpleasant moans made by his bones colliding with the hard ground.

He grinned, touching his forehead that was hit, while trying to turn over and sit up. However, he noticed that the person who was knocked down was still lying on the ground. The other party was covered in a cloak commonly used by travelers. Only a strand of black, silk-smoothed long hair hanging from the edge of the hood, and a pair of calm, water-like, clear and transparent eyes as if they were as bright as gems, exposed her gender.

Li Ou got up in a hurry.

"I'm sorry. Are you okay?" Li Ou said apologetically and stretched out his hand to the other party.

The girl ignored Li Ou's kindness and climbed up on her own, patting the dust on her body. Then she raised her head and looked at Li Ou with her eyes that seemed to have not shown any slight waves. Then she withdrew her gaze, as if she was treating Li Ou as a stone blocking the road, bypassed Li Ou and walked past him.

Li Ou smiled awkwardly. However, when he passed by the girl, the girl's cloak lifted a corner, revealing a silver-white scabbard hanging around her waist. Although it was only a short moment, the delicate lines on the scabbard still made Li Ou feel a little fascinated, making him feel the urge to find out.

A moment of loss caused Li Ou to wake up until another person hit him. He shook his head and dispelled the lines on the scabbard that were constantly replaying in his mind. Then, he suddenly thought of something, his face suddenly changed, and he hurriedly pushed away the guy blocking him, and ran away without even saying a word of apology.

"Oh no, oh no!" Li Ou shouted in his heart, "I can't catch up, I can't catch up!"

The Yinfengye Street was in chaos because of Li Ou's rampage. Li Ou could no longer control the cursing voices behind him and the chaotic streets. He just kept praying in his heart: I hope I can catch up.

Leo is now rushing to take the Creator Guild exam. Ten o'clock in the morning is the deadline for admission, and the trial exam will start after that. If Leo misses a series of things that are inexplicable today, then if he wants to apply for the trial again and obtain the qualification of a formal alchemist, he must wait two years later. He has missed it before, and if this time is still missing... Leo doesn't think his savings can last until two years later.

He rushed all the way, and didn't even have time to appreciate the Creator Guild, which had redecorated the exterior wall and hung a brand new sign, so he rushed in. He didn't walk far into the door, and his strange feeling of strangeness made Li Ou notice the hall that had changed a lot. He suddenly found that he had not been here for several months, and the interior of the guild was completely decorated, and even the air seemed to be filled with the fragrance of paint that had not yet dissipated.

Li Ou glanced at it and withdrew his gaze. Then he greeted the girl in charge of receiving the door, and walked directly through the hall where alchemists were constantly arguing about it, quickly passing through a corridor surrounded by flower beds and precious plants on both sides, towards another building complex inside the guild.

From afar, Leo could see the tall and magnificent building on the other end of the corridor. It was like a sharp sword spire forming a huge community that pierced the sky, as if it was provoking the gods. The dazzling sunlight shone on the mirror-like spire of the obsidian tower, causing it to scatter black light around it. It seemed like the legendary magical dark sky curtain turned the sky above into a black gem. Even on the other side of Aiyinbulo, you could see this miraculous scenery even on the starry sea.

However, as born in Aiyin Blo, his father was also an alchemist. Li Ou, who was about to enter this industry, was no longer surprised by the strange scenery in front of him. He quickly withdrew his gaze and accelerated his pace again. The short boots stepped on the wooden board made a rapid tapping sound. However, before Li Ou walked out of the corridor, he saw a guy wearing a tight dark robe standing on the other end of the corridor, holding a record book with one hand and copying it in his pocket with the other hand, smiling.

"I'm going to be late, Leo." The man said to Leo with his head tilted and smiled.

"Olever, why are you?" Leo looked at his friend in surprise.

Olever shrugged and said jokingly, "I'm just lucky to pass the trial two years ago, and this time I'm assigned to do hard work." He pretended to cough, "I'm the recorder of this promotion exam, Li Ou."

"Plan to remember that I was late?"

"No!" said Oleph seriously, "I will record your departure early!"

Leo was stunned for a moment, then smiled. "I think you will lose your job because of this."

"It's okay, I can stay at your house. You'll welcome me, right?"

"Of course, I will discount the house price for you." Li Ou tilted his neck, "How about 12% off?"

Oleph was waiting for Leo in place. When Leo walked to him, he took steps and walked side by side with Leo towards a spire. He walked as he said, "Why not thirteen fold?"

"Thirteen is not a good number. I don't want to be remembered by your ghost decades later."

"How is this possible!"

Oleph waved his hand and denied it with a dry smile. But in Leo's opinion, he was completely holding on to such a plan! As if feeling Leo's bad gaze, Oleph began to urge him.
