Chapter 770 Our Air Force Has Strength (4)

The north bank of the Kalitva River, Steryangka Village.

In the war-torn buildings, soldiers in yellow and green uniforms fled around, rushed out of the village and ran wildly towards the south.

The soldier running in the front was about to reach the bridge by the river, and suddenly a string of bullets flew from behind, passing through the soldier's back and flew out of his chest with blood.

The soldier threw himself to the ground with his blood-spraying chest.

Behind them, four "wolf" infantry fighting vehicles rushed out of the village, chasing enemy deserters, and heading straight to the bridge by the river.

Behind the infantry fighting vehicles, armored grenadiers trotted towards the Kalitva River with assault rifles.

The turret machine guns swept over the infantry fighting vehicles, and the fleeing Soviet soldiers were beaten to death on the shore. A few were lying on the ground, waving their hands to surrender.

The armored grenadiers who rushed in the front ignored the surrendered enemy and rushed to the river, rushed across the bridge in front of the infantry fighting chariots, arrived at the south bank of the bridge, and flashed into the woods on the left side of the south bank road.

Another squad of armored grenadiers ran across the bridge and rushed into the bushes on the right side of the bridge. The "Wolf" infantry fighting vehicle turned its tracks to open the bridge.

The buildings four or five hundred meters away from the east side of the south bank of the bridge were filled with panic figures of Soviet soldiers.

The disorderly chaos was soon stopped by rockets from the sky. The "Marshal of the Empire" armored rocket launchers fired in a salvo, dropping 60 150mm rockets into the building complex on the south bank of the Kalitva River.

In the regiment artillery battalion, 12 wasp 105mm howitzers opened fire and launched artillery on the south bank.

The 81mm mortar shell flew out from the north bank and hit the head of the Soviet army on the south bank.

The houses in the villages in the south bank were filled with smoke from fire and gunpowder explosions.

Taking advantage of the suppressed gap of the enemy on the south bank, more and more armored grenadiers rushed across the bridge to reach the south bank, and built a super-small bridgehead on the south bank. The e-40 "Black Panther" tank drove out of the village on the north bank, crossed the open space on the shore, and crossed the bridge to reach the south bank safely.

As soon as the two e-40 tanks drove across the bridge, the armored grenadiers at the bridgehead on the south bank immediately launched another attack, attacking the building complex on the east.

The armored grenadiers rushed to the front, using the lush bushes and trees on the open space outside the village as cover to rush towards the village at a distance of seven or eight meters or even ten meters.

Bullets and mortar shells flew out of the village, and the e-40 "Black Panther" tank followed behind the armored grenadiers, shaking their muzzles, pointing to the exposed Soviet firepower points.

The 88mm high-explosion bomb flew into the building's window, and the shock wave rushed out with dust and black smoke, and the building collapsed.

The machine guns and 20mm cannons on the "Wolf" infantry fighting vehicle fired one by one to suppress the enemy's firepower points.

More and more armored grenades rushed across the bridge and joined the attack on the village.

Less than three kilometers west of Steryangka Village, another village spanning both sides of the Kalitva River was also attacked.

Major Prince, the battalion commander of the Armored Grenadier Battalion, drove across the bridge in an infantry combat vehicle. He did not participate in the battle to attack the village, but drove straight to the south.

Facing his back, Major Prince looked around the sky, looking for the target he was looking for in the plane that had never disappeared in the sky.

Soon, a fleet from the south caught his attention.

"The plane is here, send a signal to them."

Behind him, an SDKFZ251 armored vehicle was parked on the side of the road. The six gunners in the car did not get off the car and directly operated the grw34 81mm mortar in the car. The shells flew out of the open car, flew over the village, and flew to the southeast of the village, the main battlefield in battle.

The shells fell to the ground, and green smoke came out with hissing sound, spreading, quickly attracting the attention of the airplane fleet.

Summoned by the "Marty of the Empire" armored regiment, the tactical aviation regiment directly under the "Marty of the Empire" armored division sent eleven me-110 ground attack aircraft to fly to the battlefield and carry out suppressive attacks.

Ignoring the Soviet fighter jets chasing behind me, the me-110 ground attack aircraft turned the nose and rushed towards the direction where the green smoke rose.

On the ground, when Major General Lazarev saw the green smoke, he put down his telescope, flashed into the turret of the T-34 tank under his feet, and then closed the hatch door and began to pray.

This T-34 tank is hidden in lush bushes and must not be discovered by enemy planes.

The me-110 ground attack aircraft dived down, the aviation bomb, the SD-2 butterfly bomb fell to the ground with a head-on face, and the black smoke and red flames entangled each other and swept everything.

After throwing the bomb, the me-110 ground attack aircraft hovered and flew over the battlefield again. Machine guns and machine cannon bullets swept across the battlefield, sweeping out bloody paths in the Soviet army without cover.

11 me-110 attack aircraft repeatedly dived and dropped bombs, suppressing the Soviet infantry on the ground so they did not dare to move around, and each looked for hidden places to avoid air strikes.

From time to time, Soviet fighter jets rushed down and chased the me-110 ground attack aircraft, but were intercepted and tracked by German fighter jets.

The me-110 attack on the ground attack aircraft completely defeated the last courage of the Soviet army on the ground, and the balance of victory on the battlefield tilted significantly towards the German army.

Aware of the trend of the enemy's collapse, the "Marshal of the Imperial Army" armored regiment accelerated on the Kalitva River.

E-40 "Black Panther" tanks drove across the bridge, attacked the west side of the Second Tank Army, and detoured to encircle the exposed backs of the Soviet army.

Seeing the German movements, Major General Lazarev hurriedly issued a retreat order, and then asked the T-34 tank to turn around and escape southwest.

On the battlefield, Soviet tanks who received the order and infantry who noticed the wrong momentum flocked to the south and southwest.

The real disaster was the infantry. The me-110 suppressed the ground attack aircraft. The infantry did not dare to run around, and most of them lay on the ground or searched for lush grass to hide.

When the me-110 ground attack aircraft fired all the cannonballs and bullets left, the Soviet infantry looked up and found that the tank had taken the lead in fleeing.

In a panic, the Soviet infantry ran around with the tanks like headless flies.

To the north is the Kalitva River, to the east is the enemy, and it is a dead end. Some tanks fled to the west, but were intercepted by the "Marshal of the Imperial River" armored regiment of the river that they had just crossed, and could only flee to the south and southwest.

The plains, with empty ground and lush vegetation, it was difficult to intercept the fleeing tanks and infantry. The "Marty of the Empire" armored regiment and the "Marty of the Empire" Second Armored Grenadier Regiment launched a charge and cooperated closely, and wanted to encircle the Soviet army, but they were still one step too late.

Soviet tanks, especially the fast-speed T-34 and T-60 tanks, were fleeing southwest, and the encirclement and annihilation battle turned into a defeat war.

Major General Lazarev was riding in a T-34 tank that rushed to the front of the defeated team. The wide track of the T-34 tank rotated at high speed, and its super off-road ability was fully revealed when it escaped. It was the first to escape from the battlefield, leaving other tanks and infantry far behind.

Pointing his head out, Major General Lazarev looked back from time to time, and almost all he saw were his own tanks and light vehicles. He couldn't help but secretly glad that he was on a victory run.

A huge noise suddenly came from the front. Major General Lazarev looked up at the sky, his eyes almost glaring out of his eyes.

There are many helicopters, as many as twenty or thirty.

Most of these helicopters with black iron cross logos aimed at themselves, while a few of them pointed the nose towards themselves.

Ignoring the escaped tanks, the fi-382 Black Hawk helicopter group let the tanks go, and the airborne mg-42 machine guns fired wildly, sprinkling bullets at the infantry behind the tanks.

The unlucky infantry were suppressed by firepower from the air again and could not move, so they could only lie down and hide.

Let the tank drive under the plane, some helicopters turn around calmly and aim the nose at the rear of the Soviet tank.

These fi-382 helicopters are armed models, with weapon hangers installed on both sides of the fuselage, each hanger equipped with eight R-4m rockets, totaling sixteen.

Under the fuselage, there is also a 7.92 mm six-barrel Gatling machine gun hanging.

It is common sense to concentrate superior forces to fight annihilation wars. In order to prevent the enemy from escaping from the vast plains, the Black Iron Brigade, under the 101 Special Air Service Regiment, was ordered to send two companies of troops to arrive on the battlefield in a fi-382 helicopter, and cooperate with the ground forces to encircle the remnants of the Second Tank Army.

The general-purpose Black Hawk helicopter intercepted Soviet infantry and handed over the tanks to armed helicopters to deal with.

Major Recht, the captain of the Black Iron Brigade, who was facing the rear of the escaped tank, personally led the team to attack, fired four m rockets mercilessly.

A rocket hit the top of the engine compartment of the T-34 tank that Major General Lazarev was riding. The armor-breaking warhead burned out a bullet hole on the steel plate and drilled into the inside of the tank for damage. The tank rushed out for a distance with inertia and stopped in the wild.

Soon after, the turret hatch was opened and four people drilled out of the tank one after another.

A string of bullets flew over and landed beside the four people. The four people did not dare to move, stopped, stood by the tank, and looked helplessly at the helicopter eyeing in the sky.

The two companies of helicopters shuttled through the air, blocking the south and southwest directions, and drove the Soviet troops who were fleeing in this direction back until they crashed into the pursuit of German tanks and armored vehicles.

Any infantry and tank that dares to continue to flee will be ruthlessly hunted.

The fi-382 helicopter shuttled through the air, contacted friendly forces on the ground through radio, and guided them to chase and kill the Soviet troops hiding in every corner.

As it was nearly four o'clock in the afternoon, the sound of gunfire on the battlefield gradually disappeared.

Major Prince personally rushed to the front of the entire camp and headed straight to the southwest of the battlefield.

Next to the T-34 tank, Major Lazarev and three subordinates raised their hands and looked at the helicopters flying around the air in a daze, not daring to move until the "Wolf" infantry fighting vehicle stopped beside them.

Major Prince had half his body exposed the turret, and looked up and down at Major General Lazarev, his eyes staying on his epaulette.

A grenade jumped out of the hatch behind the armored vehicle, walked to Major General Lazarev, and asked in Russian: "Your rank?"

"Major General." Major General Razalev said.

The grenadier flipped over Major General Lazarev's pocket and found his officer's certificate.
