Chapter 46: The Bandit's Christmas Syndrome Season 1 (2)

In the early morning of December 25, 1939, Chen Dao woke up and found that he was actually lying in his dormitory.

"Gulu...Gulu......" Before Chen Dao could figure out why he appeared in the dormitory, he felt his stomach twitching constantly and violent protests made.

After getting up, put on clothes and wash, Chen Dao pushed open the door and met Captain Lorentz and Captain Bach in the corridor.

"Commander, are you better?" Captain Bach asked with concern.

"It's better, you sent me back yesterday?" Chen Dao asked.

"Yes." Captain Lorentz nodded.

"Let's go for a meal." Chen Dao said as he walked towards the cafeteria first.

As Chen Dao expected, after a breakfast, the restless bandit heart beat faster and his hands started to shake without competing.

This feeling seemed to be stronger than yesterday, and I was really a ghost. Chen Dao walked out of the cafeteria with a gloomy expression. Captain Bach and Captain Lorentz followed behind with fear. After a few days, the two of them had already noticed the changes in Chen Dao and were more serious and careful in their work, for fear of angering Chen Dao.

Watching Chen Dao walk into the office, Captain Bach and Captain Lorentz quietly breathed a sigh of relief. They had just returned to the desk of the adjutant's office and sat down. The door of the adjutant's office creaked and was pushed open. Chen Dao stood in front of the door and waved his hand and said, "Bring your guns and follow me."

The two had no choice but to put on their coats, tie their belts, and carry a pistol to follow Chen Dao downstairs.

The officers walking on the stairs saw three people descending from the third floor stairs. The headed man looked gloomy and had two box cannons on his belt. The big-brimmed hat pressed his eyebrows. The brim of the hat almost covered his eyes, and a sarcastic aura came to his face.

When the officers saw that it was Chen Dao, they quickly went to the side to give way to salute. Chen Dao raised his hand expressionlessly and then flashed by, leaving the officers looking at each other behind secretly guessing what had happened.

Walking out of the office building, Chen Dao raised his hand and pulled out a box cannon from his belt, pressed the brim of his hat with the muzzle, and said to Captain Lorentz: "You go to the guard and drop two machine guns, remember to bring more bullets, and then go to the shooting range to find me."

When Captain Lorentz drove a truck to the shooting range with two machine guns and more than a dozen boxes of bullets, he saw Chen Dao working on the left and right with a box cannon and was having fun. Captain Bach also trained with a pistol.

Seeing Captain Lorentz arrive, Chen Dao stopped shooting. He moved an MG34 machine gun out of the truck compartment, and asked the driver to drive the car he was riding on to the shooting range, then mounted the machine gun to the roof of the car. He put the bullet and pulled the trigger, and fired it "da da da da".

Chen Dao quickly finished fifty rounds of bullets with a bullet link, and exchanged the bullets with Captain Bach and said to Captain Lorentz: "Put the machine gun on and shoot."

Captain Lorentz didn't know what his commander was trying to get, so he had to call the driver to be the deputy shooter, then set up a machine gun to accompany Chen Dao to go crazy.

The sound of two machine guns straits was like setting off firecrackers, adding a bit of festive atmosphere to the festival.

It was noon, and the gunshots on the shooting range finally stopped, and the yellow and orange shells scattered all over the ground. Chen Dao threw down the machine gun, rubbed his right shoulder in pain and said, "Go, go back to have a meal."

Looking at Chen Dao's back, Captain Bach pointed at his face, which was splashed with gun oil, and then spread his hands at Captain Lorentz who was rubbing his shoulders, showing an innocent bitter smile.

Captain Lorentz also shook his head with a wry smile, and carried the machine gun and put it back into the truck with Captain Bach, and then drove back to dinner with Chen Dao.

It was a Christmas dinner at noon. As the commander, Chen Dao naturally stood on the podium and delivered Christmas greetings, followed by a grand carnival.

Chen Dao took the initiative to take the initiative to bring himself back to sleep with a beautiful vision of getting himself drunk and toasting frequently, and refused to say goodbye. Unexpectedly, his thoughts were full and the reality was very skinny. With the pounding heart of the bandit, all the drinks turned into sweat and were discharged from his body. Chen Dao, who was soaking his back, couldn't help but get drunk, but instead became more energetic. After a fight, Chen Dao successfully won the nickname "No Drunk for Thousands of Cups" in the hearts of the officers.

Seeing the number of people drinking less and less in the cafeteria, Chen Dao shouted in his heart that he failed. Why didn’t I get drunk? As a last resort, in order to suppress the irrepressible impulse in his heart, Chen Dao had to leave the cafeteria with the miserable Captain Lorentz and Captain Bach, and grabbed a gun team from the guard company. Several people got into the truck and pulled a FLAK37 37mm anti-aircraft gun straight to the shooting range.

When he arrived at the shooting range, removed the anti-aircraft gun and set the muzzle level, Chen Dao sat in the archer's seat and then started firing.

Amid the explosion of "Boom Boom Boom Boom", white mushroom clouds rose from the hillside where the target was placed opposite Chen Dao.

The cannon sounded for an afternoon, and Captain Bach and Captain Lorentz took six gunners as loaders for an afternoon. After it was dark, Chen Dao said, "Stop the work and return to the camp." Everyone felt as if they were amnesty, and thought they were finally relieved. They quickly hung the anti-aircraft cannon onto the truck and followed Chen Dao's car to return to the camp.

After returning to the officer's dormitory and having dinner, Chen Dao swallowed four sleeping pills and lay on the bed with his head raised. He thought to himself that he had finally survived today, but what to do tomorrow? When will this hard day come to an end? While he was thinking about it, Chen Dao fell asleep.

For a full week, Chen Dao spent the day in the shooting range. From box cannons to MG34 machine guns, from 20mm anti-aircraft cannons to 37mm anti-aircraft cannons, Chen Dao practiced them all, and even the tall and large 88mm anti-aircraft cannons were dragged to the shooting range and fired indiscriminately.

January 1, 1940 was a thankful day for Captain Bach and Captain Lorentz, because the first order issued by the commander after arriving in the morning was that we would not shoot targets today.

Putting down Captain Bach and Captain Lorentz in the adjutant's room, he was secretly glad that he did not mention it. Chen Dao sat in the office chair and still shook his hands constantly, thinking that the urge to destroy everything was finally weak enough to be controlled, and he finally survived it.

Today is the first day of 1940, and the new year will naturally have a new look. Chen Dao decided to start writing a diary from today to record his career as a bandit, and organize it and publish it in the future after the war is over. Maybe he can also get the Nobel Prize in explosives like Churchill.

In the next few days, Chen Dao insisted on writing a diary every day, while fighting against the desire in his heart. The results were very gratifying. After writing down the diary one by one, the desire in his heart also declined more and more.

On January 5, Garland and Leibniz returned to work after the holiday. Chen Daoxin said that he could finally return to Berlin, so as not to have his brother-in-law always call him to urge him a day.

Before Christmas Eve, Goring called Chen Dao to go back to Berlin for Christmas. Chen Dao had already noticed something strange in his body. Thinking that Goring had a little girl named Ada at his home, it would be easier if he couldn't control his fierceness and hurt the child, so he refused. Now his body has basically returned to normal and he can go back.

To be on the safe side, I waited for a few more days until January 15th. Chen Dao found that his eyes were not so red and his hands were not so shaking. He was convinced that he had finally overcome his desire, so he decided to go back to Berlin.

After asking for leave from the Navy Command and booking a train ticket, Chen Dao decided to take a break before taking the night train. After notifying Captain Bach to wake him up on time, Chen Dao fell asleep on his desk.

"Heinz Chen, I am FBI agent George MacDonald. You are surrounded. Hurry up and surrender and release the hostages. You have the right to remain silent, but every word you say will become a confession."

······

"You know, all of us have lost Christmas, it's all because of you."

······

"You bitch, I raised it."

Scenes flashed clearly from Chen Dao's mind until the last dazzling fire...

In the corridor on the third floor, Captain Bach walked out of the adjutant's office, looked at his watch and walked to Chen Dao's office door, knocked on it a few times before pushing open the door.

Seeing Chen Dao lying on the desk without moving, Captain Bach quietly walked to Chen Dao and was about to call Chen Dao to get up when he saw Chen Dao screaming "ah" and straightening up.

Captain Bach was shocked by the bandit aura that burst out from Chen Dao's body instantly. He took a few steps back and looked at Chen Dao in horror as he pointed his right hand at the air and shouted until he finally fell into the chair like exhaustion.

Captain Bach took out a white handkerchief and gently wiped Chen Dao's sweat all over his head, while guessing what nightmare the commander had had, which was so scared that he was so scared? And what language he said just now? Why have he never heard it before?

Taking Captain Bach's handkerchief, Chen Dao wiped his sweat and asked, "Time is up?"

"Commander, it's time for you to set out," said Captain Bach.

······

On the train to Berlin, Chen Dao smoked a cigarette silently, then took out his bandit's diary from his briefcase and wrote it.

At the end of the diary, Chen Dao frowned and wrote: MacDonald, I actually dreamed of you, a dead ghost. It is definitely a sign of bad luck. You are the one whore, and your whole family is.
