Chapter 1: The Bandit Chen Dao
On December 25, 2014, neon lights shone beside a dilapidated red building in the western suburbs of Los Angeles, USA. It was the light of the police lights of more than 70 police cars.
"Heinz Chen, I am FBI agent George MacDonald. You are surrounded. Hurry up and surrender and release the hostages. You have the right to remain silent, but every word you say......" Before he finished speaking, Agent MacDonald squatted down and blocked his whole body with the help of a police car.
An AK47 stretched out from the third window on the second floor of the red building opposite him, and a series of bullets shot towards the police car outside. "Crash," the windows of several police cars were smashed.
After avoiding the sought-after shooting, the police picked up all kinds of guns in their hands and fought back without being outdone. For a moment, the glass on the window disappeared under the destruction of bullets, and the wall turned into honeycombs.
After venting a wave of anger, the police stopped shooting under the order, "Heinz Chen, hurry up and release the hostages and surrender." Agent McDonald showed his head and surrendered again.
It seemed that it was shocked by the fierce firepower of the police. An arm stretched out a window on the third floor of the building, and the arm kept waving the white shirt in his hand.
"It's been 14 hours, and he finally surrendered, thank God." MacDonald drew a cross and shouted, "Supply your weapon."
The opposite side cooperated very well, throwing two pistols and an AK47 assault rifle from the window on the third floor, and a voice appeared at the same time: "Don't fire the gun, I'll go out immediately."
"Be careful and wait for him to come out." MacDonald ordered in a low voice.
Soon, a figure appeared in the main entrance of the building. The figure raised his hands, waved his white shirt, and shouted loudly: "Don't shoot, I don't have weapons." As he said that, the man called Heinz Chen raised his hands and walked carefully towards the police car where McDonald was.
MacDonald waved his hand, and four policemen rushed towards Heinz Chen with weapons, pressed him to the ground, handcuffed his hands behind him, and then escorted him toward MacDonald.
"You know, we all have Christmas soaked up because of you," said McDonald.
"Do you know that my life and the hopes of the whole family have been ruined by those American liars." Heinz Chen said tit-for-tat.
"But I'm sorry for disturbing your Christmas. I have prepared a Christmas gift for you. I think you will like it." Heinz Chen said with a smile.
Seeing Heinz Chen's mysterious smile as much as Mona Lisa, an ominous premonition arose in MacDonald's heart. "Search his body." McDonald shouted.
Two policemen rush tore open Heinz Chen's leather jacket and found that there was only a Santa T-shirt printed on it, as well as explosives lined up on their abdomen and a timer with red letters shining.
"7,6,5." The red numbers on the timer flashed MacDonald's eyes.
"You bitch, you." MacDonald cursed in despair.
"Forgot to say, Mr. MacDonald, I'm not Christmas."
"Boom" accompanied by the explosion, the huge fireball swallowed McDonald and the police car beside him...
"If you have a next life, you will only allow me to deceive others, and never let others lie to me." Chen Dao's last thought flashed through his mind.
*******
On September 9, 1939, in the south of Kutno City, 113 kilometers west of Warsaw, the capital of Poland, Chen Dao was carrying out a 100-meter sprint with the help of his orderly soldiers Gregory and Pike, with the goal of a forest about 150 meters ahead.
Under the cover of two orderly soldiers, Chen Dao ran desperately towards the woods ahead, and kept doing snake-like maneuvers to avoid the bullets flying behind him.
Chen Dao felt a burst of burning flames from his lungs, but the pain in his lungs could not hide Chen Dao's inner shock. What the hell is going on? Isn't Germany beat Poland like a martial arts master as easy as a martial arts master beating a child? How could the German army have such a messy scene?
Chen Dao was cursing as he ran, 50 meters, 30 meters, the woods were right in front of him. If he worked harder, he would be safe.
Chen Dao was surprised to find that his speed running level had improved significantly, just like when he was chasing and biting him by a mad dog on the street when he was sixteen years old.
It seems that the whipping of bullets and shells is similar to the mad dog chasing and biting, and they both help stimulate people's potential and improve escape efficiency.
20 meters or 10 meters, Chen Dao was delighted to see that the woods were already close. Looking up, there were many German soldiers in the woods waving their hands desperately to cheer themselves up, and some German soldiers set up machine guns to cover themselves with fire.
With another final sprint, you can get rid of the hateful Poles and escape ascend to heaven.
Just as Chen Dao gritted his teeth and was about to explode, the whistling sound of shells tearing the air from behind him.
"Boom..." A ignorant shell exploded behind Chen Dao, and the fierce waves of air rushed Chen Dao into the sky.
First, a standard flying swallow spread its wings, Chen Dao hit a tree trunk as thick as a waist, and then bounced back to the ground with a mouthful of mud. "Oh, my waist." Chen Dao covered his waist and rolled on the ground in pain.
Seeing this, two loyal orderly soldiers rushed over immediately, and several brave German soldiers also came up to help. They braved the raindrop bullets and dragged Chen Dao hard into the back of a slope in the woods.
What the hell is going on? After I fired a bomb in the United States, I was inexplicably resurrected by a major in an air force. Before I could figure out the situation, the air defense battalion led by me encountered a great defeat with a friendly army advisor. After all, I was a puppet army fan in my previous life. I didn’t hear of any great defeat in the German army in the Battle of Poland. What happened?
Before Chen Dao could figure out the causes and consequences, a young man wearing a lieutenant's epaulette bent over and carefully groped to Chen Dao's side, saluted Chen Dao and said, "Hello Major, I am Randolph, lieutenant of the German Army."
Chen Dao came back to his senses when he heard the voice and replied awkwardly: "I am Major Heinz von Rosen, the battalion commander of the 7th Air Defense Battalion of the Luftwaffe. Thank you for saving me and my subordinates, Lieutenant Randolph. I had a car accident last night and injured my head. I forgot a lot of things. Can you tell me the current situation of the battle? And your number?"
Randolph glanced at the white bandage wrapped around Chen Dao's head and said, "I am the acting company commander of the 1st Company of the 1st Battalion of the 30th Infantry Division. Our division is affiliated with the Eighth Army of the Southern Army Group."
Chen Dao searched the memories in his brain and found that he had no impression of the number of the 30th Infantry Division.
"We should now," Chen Dao was about to ask what to do? Suddenly he thought that he was the highest commander of all German troops in this woods, so he must not show his fear, so as not to affect morale.
"Lt. Randolph, I am here in a unified command. You are my adjutant. You can count the number of people immediately, collect weapons and ammunition, and prepare for battle. The Poles' offensive will not last long. We must persevere until the reinforcements arrive." Chen Dao ordered Lieutenant Randolph, who was lower than his military rank, without hesitation.
Randolph knew that now was not the time to distinguish the differences in the troops, so he went to execute the order without hesitation.
