Chapter 11: To go far away (2)(2/2)

"She's in the room over there."

So Marin took another look and found that the rabbit girl had rolled herself into a ball with a blanket.

This really doesn't look like a lady's sleeping position.

Returning to the duty room, Marin was about to leave when Jessica came over and gave Marin a kiss on the forehead.

This made Marin a little confused. Wait a minute, isn't kissing the forehead something elders do to younger generations?

But despite his doubts, Marin still smiled and returned Jessica a kiss.

"I'll go downstairs and take a look. Please pay attention to the upstairs. If there is any problem, blow the whistle to wake everyone up."

"Leave it to me, Marin, you have to be careful too."

After saying goodbye to Jessica, Marin walked out of the duty room with a revolver. The elemental creature in the corridor leading to the first floor made a small space for its owner, and Marin got through.

The lights on the first floor are still on, and several caravan mercenaries are still drinking there. This caravan belongs to the Chamber of Commerce of the Eastern Kingdom. Their destination will be Carter Castle, where they will sell those exquisite blankets, and then

Will buy salt at Fort Carter and bring it back inland.

This caravan has almost fifty trucks, and there are also several mercenary teams protecting them.

Also because there were too many people, they did not stay in a hotel, but set up a camp on the edge of the village. These mercenaries must have sneaked out to drink.

Marin's appearance made the mercenaries nervous, but when they found out it was Marin, they immediately took off their hats and saluted - Marin had treated two mercenaries who had been injured on the previous journey and gave them the fractured parts.

Processed.

"Master Marin, are you keeping vigil?" the leading mercenary noticed the gun in Marin's hand and asked with a smile.

"Yes, come down and take a look. I'm worried that it's not safe for the store manager's daughter to watch the first floor alone." Marin looked around and put away the gun after confirming that there was no danger.

"You don't have to worry about this. When our caravan passes by, we will help the store manager." After the mercenary said that, he smiled at the thin girl: "Little Lina, are you right?"

"Yes, yes, but if you drink less, I would feel more at ease." The store manager's daughter pursed her lips.

Marin could only smile - not letting the mercenaries drink is any different from killing them.
