074 Little trouble

"Oh, I've been reading," Hager said, pulling out a large book from under his pillow, "Borrowing Dragons for Pastime and Profits from the Library, of course, is a bit dated, but full of content. I believe this book will help me get what I'm going to do next."

"Let me see," Hagrid opened the book, and then pointed his fingers as thick as a carrot, at a line of words. "Put the eggs in the fire, because their mother exhale them. Look, it's written here, after it hatchs, feed it a bucket of brandy and chicken blood every half an hour. Look here - how to distinguish different eggs - I got a Norwegian spine dragon. It's rare."

He looked very proud, but Hermione's face showed a helpless look. "Hagir, don't forget that you live in a wooden house." She said. But Haigir didn't listen at all. He was humming a little song happily while fiddling with the fire. He didn't look worried at all that his house might be burned into a fire.

"Hagin's love for dragons is really-" After everyone left, Hermione shook her head helplessly and said to Hugo and the others. "If someone finds that he illegally raises dragons in his hut, he will definitely have big trouble. What's important is that this kind of thing is almost impossible to avoid. Think about the growth rate of dragons-"

"Don't worry, Hermione, you don't have to worry too much." Hugo comforted, "Hagge is already a man in his sixties and is good at dealing with all kinds of magical creatures. I believe he should know how to do it, after all, he has enough experience to support his next move."

It was obvious that Hugo's comfort was just a comfort. At least for the next period of time, when Hugo and the others went to find Hager to make the final revision of the sorted notes, they found that he was still taking care of his precious dragon egg.

For the next period, Hugo and the others were immersed in their studies again. Until one day they just left the auditorium after breakfast. They watched Harry walk in through the door, then trotted and caught up with the three of them, stopped them, and then handed over a note.

The handwriting on the note was a bit messy, and it looked like it was written in a hurry. There were only two lines of words on it. The first line was about to be out of the shell, and the second line was to give the note to Hugo and the others to see.

"When are you going?" Hugo put the note on the torch on the wall next to it and burned it to ashes, then asked. "I think we should go there after lunch. After all, there are still classes in the morning. If you just run over in such a hurry, it will easily attract unnecessary attention from others."

"We-" Harry got stuck just after spitting out a word. He wanted to take off the morning herbal lesson and go straight to Hager's cottage, but after Hugo said this, he suddenly realized that he should not cause trouble to Hager anyway.

"We should go there during the break between the two classes in the morning." After quickly thinking, he found a balance between his eagerness to see the dragon emerge from the shell and his unwillingness to bring trouble to Hagrid. "By the way, when will you go?"

"Let's go after lunch. The 20 minutes of rest in the morning are too nervous and there are certain risks." Hugo whispered to the two ladies and said to Harry, "The most important thing is that we have already agreed with Senior Sister Zhang to discuss the deformation class assignment assigned by Professor McGonagall during the break."

After sending Harry away, Hugo and the others finished the morning class and had lunch as usual. Then they slowly went to Hager's cottage with Veneto and Hermione. After knocking on the door, Hager greeted them, his face was flushed and very excited...

"It's already out." He let them into the hut, and then Hugo and the others saw a little dragon like a wrinkled black umbrella placed in a box by Hagrid. Its spiny wings looked particularly large compared to its thin black body. It also had a long, big nose with white nostrils, horny bumps on its head, and orange-red eyes protruded outward, not looking beautiful at all, and looked a little numb.

"Oh-no!" After closing the door, Hagrid suddenly shouted loudly, then rushed to the edge of the box and slapped hard. It turned out that at this time, the dragon sprayed a flame that might be the size of two knuckles from its nostrils, and eventually ignited the tassels on the edge of a piece of floral cloth on the cabinet next to the box.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Hagrid said as he hugged the young dragon out of the box, like holding a baby. Unfortunately, his move made the young dragon feel uncomfortable, so it sprayed a lot of sparks from its nostrils again, igniting Hagrid's beard, forcing Hagrid to use his hands to slap the small flames on the beard.

"This should be a special way for the Fire Dragon to say hello." After confirming that all the Mars on his beard were extinguished, Hagrid said to Hugo and the others, "Look, it knows its mother!"

"I think this should be just a simple stress reaction, just like you choke after drinking water and coughing desperately." Hugo said, thinking that Hagrid should know these things, but after seeing Xiaolong, he threw these common sense behind his mind because of the satisfaction of his wish.

Obviously, Hagrid didn't take what Hugo said seriously. He tried to touch Xiaolong's head, but Xiaolong bit his finger. At this moment, Hermione found something from a book next to the sofa. Then he pointed to the words and said to Hagrid, "At most a month, this dragon will grow as big as your house. So you really should think about what to do next."

However, Hager turned a deaf ear to Hermione's words and began to hum a bad lullaby to coax the little dragon in her arms. Seeing that it really didn't make sense, Hugo and the others could only exchange a few simple greetings before leaving here.

For the next period, Hugo and his team reduced their frequency of visiting Hagrid's hut because they were busy with review and sorting out notes. However, the only visit in the week made them realize that Hagrid was in a bad condition: he left the work of guarding the hunting ground aside, because the dragon made him fucked. The ground was full of empty brandy bottles and chicken feathers.

Moreover, Hugo happened to meet Harry and Ron who came to help, and learned from them that Malfoy had probably discovered this secret before. Unfortunately, no matter how he persuaded him, Hager was unwilling to get rid of this trouble.

"I also know that in just one month, Norbert will be as big as my room." Hager sobbed. "But I can't just throw it away like this, no. It's too small and will die if I leave here."
