137 Lockhart's Lesson
Lockhart, standing directly in front of the classroom, naturally couldn't know that Hugo was thinking about how miserable he would leave Hogwarts this year.
So he seemed very excited to pick up the "Walking with the Troll" placed on the table of a girl in the front row and held it in his hand, showing the photo of him blinking on the cover.
"I," he pointed to his photo and blinked his eyes, "Gidro Lohart, the third-level medal of the Sir Merlin, an honorary member of the Dark Magic Defense League, won the Most Charming Smile Award for the Wizard Weekly for five times-but I don't keep that one on my lips, I'm not the female ghost who drives away Bandon by a smile!"
He was waiting for everyone to make all kinds of cheers or laughter, but obviously even if the students sitting here were obsessed with him, he knew that this was the classroom and it was class time now.
So except for some fans in the front row who smiled gently, the situation in the entire classroom was obviously a bit awkward.
"Okay, I see that many of you have bought my books on their own initiative. So I think we can do a simple little test now." After looking at everyone's attitude and the popularity of their works in the classroom, Lockhart quickly frowned and sent a stack of papers to the table in front of everyone one by one.
Lavenclaw and Slytherin present were shocked after receiving the test, because the above question looked like this:
1.\nWhat color does Gidrolohart like the most?
2.\nWhat is Gidrolohart's secret ambition?
3.\nWhat do you think Gidrolohart’s biggest achievement to date is?
So wait, three sides of paper, the last question is: 54.\nWhat day is Gidrolohart's birthday? What is his ideal birthday gift?
While extracting the corresponding knowledge directly from the admiral network, Hugo expressed deep sympathy for the senior students who are going to take the OWLs exam and NEWT exam this year. If their self-study skills are not particularly good, their results in the Black Magic Defense Class this year may be extremely bad.
Half an hour later, Lockhart put the test papers in front of the whole class and looked around in front of the class. "Tsk tsk——Nine people remember that I like lilac the most. I mentioned it in "A Year with the Tibetan Snowman". Also, I suggest that everyone should read "Spend a Weekend with the Werewolf" - I clearly stated in Chapter 12 of the book that my ideal birthday gift is to live in harmony with those who can't magic - but I will not refuse a large bottle of Ogden's aged Heat Whiskey!"
Speaking of this, Lockhart blinked at them mischievously again. However, most of the Slytherin and Ravenclaw students present looked at him with a face without any expression.
There are many young wizards who sit in the front row of the classroom and have bought his full set of works before.
"Beautiful writing, Mr. Granger! You actually remember my secret ambition is to eliminate evil in the world and sell my own series of hair care water—" Lockhart said excitedly:
"I think this paper can get 100 points...so I'm going to add five points to Ravenclaw now!"
"How did you do this?" said Hermione, who was at the same table with Hugo, poked his arm with her finger. "I can't believe you can remember so many words from him, and I almost vomited when I saw those places."
"When you suppress the vomiting, you will find some extra knowledge when you read those words," Hugo shrugged, "For example, when writing his ideal birthday gift, there was a part of the comments about the wolf poison potion, which was very valuable for the description of the werewolf's status after drinking the wolf poison potion."
Perhaps because this was the first class after coming to school, Lockhart did not bring the Cornish elves here to demonstrate to everyone. Instead, he used his novel as a model to talk about how to face female ghosts.
Although from Hugo's perspective, he was just selecting some of the books and reading them out, it was enough for the second-grade students in the classroom to understand the evil magical creatures of female ghosts.
After spending the first class of school safely, Hugo and the Gryffindor students took a transformation class together. In this class, Professor McGonagall did not teach anything new, but held a review class to review the content of the last semester, allowing everyone to turn beetles into buttons.
Hugo was the first to successfully turn the beetle into a carved silver button, which also earned Professor McGonagall five points extra. But the situation for others was a bit bad.
For example, most Gryffindor students are made of buttons with wings or six-legged buttons, and there are even people like Harry or Ron who only let beetles exercise.
This naturally made Professor McGonagall a little unhappy, especially when almost all of the students in Lavenclaw were finished with deformation before get out of class.
So after the bell rang, Professor McGonagall asked the students who failed to complete the deformation to write a two-foot homework about beetle deformation to hand it in the next class.
This leads to the complaints coming from the long table in Gryffindor during lunch even at Lavenclaw's table. After all, writing a two-foot paper at the beginning of school is a complete failure for many people's idea of wanting to take a break.
"What lessons do we have in the afternoon?" After taking a sip of the creamy soup made of mushrooms and bacon, Hugo turned to ask Veneto, who was sitting next to him.
"You obviously have a class schedule." Venetto complained, then took out the folded class schedule from his pocket and looked at it. "We're going to have a herbal class in the afternoon, and we're with Slytherin again. Then the last class is empty, so we can arrange our own things."
When he was about to attend class with Slytherin, Venetto showed an unhappy expression. Although the relationship between Ravenclaw and Slytherin is not as bad as that between Gryffindor and Slytherin, there are even some friends who are inter-college.
But for students like Hugo and others who are not from a wizard family, it is always not very comfortable to teach with the Slytherins.
In the afternoon, everyone went to the greenhouse together. After studying last year, Professor Sprout finally allowed them to enter the third greenhouse.
Unlike the first greenhouse where they studied last year, the plants in the third greenhouse are more interesting and dangerous.
Professor Sprout took a big key from his belt and opened the door. A smell of damp soil and fertilizer came over, mixed with some nice plant smells. Soon, everyone discovered that the fragrance came from several small trees with feathered leaves and barrel-shaped trunks planted in the pots in the corner of the greenhouse.
"Gentlemen, ladies, stay away from the sleeping fern before taking good protection." Professor Sprout immediately said loudly after watching several students approaching these small trees.
