3 Overnight pergola

After Li Daguanchao finished speaking, he gnawed the beef bones in his hand, threw them out of the pergola, clapped his hands, and prepared to leave.

Ye Qin stared blankly at the beef bone drew an arc in the air and landed in the grass several meters away in front of him. He stared at the flesh bone tightly and did not dare to move. As long as these officials almost left, he would never intend to show his face in front of them.

Otherwise, as long as one of the more than ten men dislikes him, he will come and kick him, which will be enough to kick him half-death. His weak little body can't stand any blow. If he gets hit, he may be in pain tomorrow and cannot move his finger. The day after tomorrow, he and Daniu will starve to death in this wilderness because there is no food.

The wandering around for half a year made him realize that this kind of risk must not be taken.

Cheng Daniu lost Ye Qin's pressure, sobered up a little, and then half of his head came out from the grass nest. But this time he saw clearly that it was a group of officials. Daniu knew it was powerful and did not dare to move around. He just tried his best to smell the smell of wine and meat to satisfy his cravings.

Li Daguanshi had enough food and drinks, and did not say much else, so he took the officials who had enough food and drinks to the road. The money for alcohol and drinks was not enough, and Li Daguanshi had to worry about it, and several young officials had thrown some money at the table.

The officials shouted, carried their swords, searched for the path, and followed the traces of the robbers.

The old man in the restaurant saw that the money on the table was not enough, so he could only save the capital. He flinched and dared not say much, so he could only curse in his heart, and then clean up the table, chairs, bowls and chopsticks in the awning. The waiter was busy collecting the remaining wine, meat, tea, and meat and bones on the ground, and preparing to take it back to feed the pigs. This year, there has been a severe drought and food is scarce, so it is impossible to waste any of it, especially those of them who trade small businesses.

Cheng Daniu was drooling when he saw it.

Ye Qin pulled the big bull and didn't let him go. They stayed here for half a month. They had known that the old man and the waiter were both stingy and refused to give him any wine and meat. They were both here now, but they were afraid that the old man in the restaurant would come over with a rotten broom and drive them away.

Fortunately, the waiter just cleaned up the pergola and did not go to the grass outside the pergola. All the valuable belongings were moved to a ox cart. The old man and the waiter drove the ox cart and walked slowly along the post road towards the distance.

Ye Qin saw the ox cart walking away, and finally rushed towards the piles of weeds, pulled open the ragtags, and looked for the beef bone discarded by Li Daguanma.

Soon, Ye Qin found a cow bone that was half the size of his little arm, with some uncooked beef shreds sticking to it, emitting an attractive fragrance. He stretched out and licked the shreds sticking to the bone.

Cheng Daniu also slowly crawled over, his face full of mud, staring at the flesh bone in Ye Qin's hand pitifully.

Ye Qin took the meat bone in his mouth and hesitated. He knew in his heart that the big bull needed this meat bone more than himself. After the big bull was injured last night, he felt very uncomfortable and could hardly eat something today. Now he really wanted to eat meat, which is a good phenomenon. Maybe his injuries would be healed after eating meat. In the past, hunters who went up the mountain to hunt in my hometown would eat meat to nourish the body when they were injured.

The only friends who came out of the hometown were him and Daniu, and he would never let Daniu die.

"Give it, big cow, you were bitten by a wild dog yesterday, just in time to replenish your body. I'll go and see if there are any other food left on the ground."

Ye Qin stuffed the meat bones into Cheng Daniu's hand. After that, he went to the pergola and while it was not completely dark, he carefully searched everywhere on the ground inside and outside the pergola. Occasionally, he picked up one or two grains of rice from the mud and stuffed them into his mouth.

The big bull followed the bones, his eyes were slightly red and his nose was sore.

"Brother Qin!"

He wiped his sour nose with a black torn linen cloth and bit it silently with the beef bones. This is not the first time. Four or five of them came out to find food. For half a year, almost all the oldest Qin Ge'er was taking care of him. However, Qin Ge'er could not take care of him, and eventually several died.

He didn't know how many times he died. Many times, he became a burden, thinking about dying. But when he was about to die, only Brother Qin was left. What should Qin Ge'er do if Qin Ge'er was alone? Brother Qin refused to let him die. He could only try his best not to become a burden, to make his injuries heal faster, and to help find food.

At night, the moon hangs high.

Ye Qin used dead grass to lay a layer on the cold mud floor in the simple bamboo room. A small hole in the corner of the bamboo room was also tightly blocked with a large stone and a branch. The old wild dog came in from this small hole last night and bit the big cow. The big cow ate the beef bones and became much more energetic at night. Half a bowl of leftover water was found in the only broken water tank in the bamboo room. The big cow drank some and had already fallen asleep on the straw mat.

Ye Qin lay on the dead grass, with his small hands behind his head, silently thinking about what the group of officials said.

"The medicinal collection hall in Zhuqi County will publicly recruit a group of medicinal collection boys under the age of twelve!"

In Zhuqi County, he had been with Daniu two months ago. He stayed there for several days, but he couldn't stay and escaped.

Because there is a group of local beggars in the county town, they occupy all begging places and places with good food. They are very hostile to foreign beggars and will drive them away.

That's fine. As long as you walk harder, you can always find a meal, which is much better than in the wilderness.

But what Ye Qin couldn't stand was that there were some hooligans and rogues in the city who wanted to use them to steal wealth from wealthy families. Although he was still young, he knew that if the theft was caught, he would inevitably be chopped off by the victim, or be beaten up with a fierce attack. He was forced to find a chance to take the big bull and flee the county town and go to the countryside more than ten miles away to find food.

Ye Qin once heard the name of the Medicinal Hall in the county town, and knew that there was such a powerful household in the county town, but he didn't take it to heart.

There are huge families like the Medicinal Collection Hall, and there are too many land and land. There are many slaves and disciples walking all over the streets. They will not have any connection with the little beggars who wander around like them. Even if they want to recruit some medicinal collection boys, it is probably not their turn to do so.

However, Ye Qin was a little unwilling to accept it.

Since he heard this from the official's mouth, if he didn't try it, why did he pretend that he hadn't heard of it at all? If he didn't get it, it would be a waste of time. If he really got it, he wouldn't have to wander around in the wilderness and starve in the future. If he didn't go, he wouldn't even have the chance to get it.

Late at night, occasionally there were so many tossing sounds in the bamboo room that could not fall asleep.

Scared! Scared!

The sound of wild beasts panting outside the bamboo room.

The damn old wild dog that was in dissipation was coming again, the sound of pawling stones, the sound of anger and roaring strangely, and the sound of biting branches was panicking on the dark night, and I was always worried that this beast would get in again.

After struggling for a long time, it was not until dawn that the old wild dog left unwillingly.
