251. Stay in a country estate
"Then it..."
Scott thought about it and proposed a way to compromise.
"You can send someone, but it's better for the family to get together during this time and don't leave alone until things are resolved."
Cale and Scott looked at each other for a few seconds and nodded slowly.
"Yes," he said, "we all went on vacation to the manor left by our grandfather in the country."
Scott smiled satisfied, "This will be foolproof. Even if there is a situation where I lose, I can take everyone away."
Caleb smiled rare, "That won't happen."
He looks confident.
Scott didn't say much about this.
As long as you can ensure the safety of your family, you can put other things aside for the time being.
After the nephew and uncle agreed, they took action.
Of course, it was Caleb who acted.
Scott's uncle was obviously a decisive person, and no one would refute his decision.
Ramos's wife and Adelina's husband both came to the villa with their children overnight.
Cale soon arranged the car and the people in charge of protection, and they left Madrid overnight in the car.
At Scott's request, all the family members, including a team of bodyguards in security costumes, sat together on a bus.
My cousin and my cousin's five children were shouting excitedly along the way, which made the car particularly lively.
Scott sat in the last row with his parents.
Emilia was playing with a pistol in her hand, aiming out the window from time to time.
"I haven't fired a gun for a long time." Her tone of discussing the gun was as if she was lamenting her lost youth.
Michael and Scott looked at each other, and they didn't answer her words in a tacit way.
"Will our departure like this cause alertness from the messenger behind the scenes?" Emilia asked in a low voice.
Michael replied softly, "Cale has claimed to the public that this is to protect the safety of his family before the kidnapping case is truly solved."
"Yes," Scott said, "now the police are investigating a kidnapping case for money."
Emilia nodded.
Scott leaned closer and whispered to her, "Milly, where is that map, safe?"
"Of course it's safe. No one knows where it is except me." Emilia smiled proudly.
She put the pistol back into the holster at her waist and squeezed the flesh on Scott's face with her hands, "What's wrong with my dear son? Do you want to know?"
"I don't, mom." Scott answered honestly.
Emilia pinched the flesh on his face and gently turned it around, "Remember, that's a gift you can only get when you become an adult."
"Okay, mom." Scott rubbed his face with his hands.
The bus drove out of the downtown area of Madrid and headed north. He passed by several small towns and entered the mountainous area.
When they arrived at their destination, several playful children fell asleep exhausted.
There were five children, my cousin and his wife, and four of them, plus Ramiro, and each of them got out of the car with one.
"This is the manor left by my grandfather."
Emilia said to Michael and Scott, her tone was filled with nostalgia.
"I spent my childhood here when I was a kid, and my grandfather, father and mother all died here."
Speaking of this, she looked a little sad.
Michael took the opportunity to put her arms around her shoulder.
Scott was observing the environment of the manor.
"Milly, Mike, Scott, everyone hurry up!"
But soon, they walked into the manor with Aunt Flora's greeting.
Soon, the dark and quiet manor became brightly lit.
After arranging the sleeping children, everyone gathered in the lobby of the manor.
"I believe everyone knows what happened." Caleb looked at his family seriously, "No one is allowed to leave the manor before the kidnapping instructor was arrested."
Flora also said: "That's right! And you guys!"
She told the two young couples, "You must remember to be optimistic about the children!"
Cale arranged for the work of the bodyguard team again, and then everyone returned to their rooms.
After taking a shower, Scott changed into his pajamas but did not go to bed directly. Instead, he held his wand and went upstairs to the attic.
But when he pushed open the attic door, Caleb's voice came from inside, "Why are you guys coming up?"
A little red light in the dark loft was clearly extinguished, and he seemed to be smoking in front of the attic window.
"Uncle?" Scott was also a little surprised.
With a snap, the lights lit up, and the arrangement in the attic appeared before his eyes.
This is a loft arranged in a studio.
The walls are hung with oil paintings of all sizes, and flower stands and painting tools on the floor are piled up into mountains.
But, all of this looks very old.
Scott involuntarily began to admire the paintings on the wall, and finally stopped in front of a portrait of a character.
This is a family portrait.
Scott saw Emilia, the young Caleb, her grandparents she had never met, and her great-grandfather.
"I heard from Emilia, do you like oil paintings too?" Caleb pinched off the cigarette and walked to Scott.
Scoe nodded, "It's my hobby since I was a child."
“You can use this studio on days here,” Caleb said. “Tomorrow I will bring new painting tools to the purchasers.”
Scott glanced at him, looked at the signature on the drawing, and asked in surprise, "I used to be yours?"
Cale smiled and reached out to touch the canvas in front of him. "I wanted to be a painter when I was young, but I haven't picked up a paintbrush in decades."
His few short sentences seemed to contain a not-so-good story.
Scott opened his mouth and finally said, "You can also treat painting as a hobby."
"No." Caleb put down his hand and turned around without hesitation, "You have to be thorough when it's time to give up."
He opened the attic door directly.
"No matter what you want to do, hurry up and go to bed early."
After saying that, he left directly.
Scott watched his back disappear into the darkness and couldn't help but sigh that his uncle was also a cruel person.
He walked to the door and reached out to close the door.
Then he raised his wand.
First, a muted spell was set up in the attic, and then a magic wand was waving again.
"Flocks of birds."
Crazy... flapping...
Countless sounds of flapping wings and rough squeals mixed together.
Scott's eyes were filled with darkness.
The clumps quickly flew everywhere in the attic.
"Quiet."
Scott whispered.
The crows immediately calmed down and turned to look at him.
"You will stay near this manor for a few days and be alert. If any suspicious person appears, please inform me."
The crows nodded humanly.
"very good."
Scott smiled and opened the attic window.
"You guys go out."
The crows immediately flew up, flew out of the windows, scattering everywhere.
Scott couldn't help but smile as he looked at the night sky with dark shadows passing by.
The clumps trained by Rambo are easy to use.
