Chapter 371: The Black Dragon of the Badlands(1/2)

The barren land is located in the eastern continent of the Azeroth world, a scorching land full of magma.

The alliance has discovered that there are many Mithril and Seurish mines here.

The records about this area in the Dalaran Magic Library are as follows:

Three hundred years ago, the arrival of the flame demon Ragnaros cursed the area and turned it into a deserted place. Since then, it has been deserted and uninhabitable.

The record calls the place before Ragnaros's appearance the southeast Kazmodan because it is located in the southeast of the dwarf country.

Dwarves have always had exploration teams here. Dwarves believe that there may be secrets of the ancient heritage of dwarves here, but they have never found them.

When they recalled, the oldest dwarves always claimed that a long time ago, this was a green valley with abundant natural resources.

The power of the fire demon's birth burned the earth and turned it into a barren and deserted place like today.

The earth elements staggered, shaking the sky and the earth and wandering around on the cracked earth; lions lurking in the canyon waiting for opportunities, while the black young dragons foraging swept across the dim sky.

Including the old rivals of Iron Fortress, the Stone Palate Monster and the Black Iron Dwarf, this is why this bad place is called the Barren Land.

The barren land is a deep valley where no grass grows, dry and hot, and bone-permeable.

The hot heat wave stirs the heat in the air and cannot bring a trace of coolness to the stuffy earth.

Only the most tenacious plants like cactus and bushes can survive in this harsh environment.

The area is stable but covered with rocks. The mountains located to the north block the cold air from Lokmodan, causing the climate here to be hot, rainy and water-deficient.

There are canyons everywhere, mostly lurking lions and other terrifying beasts. Only the most tenacious plants and animals can survive withered trees, cactus, scorpions and mountain lions.

The Ironforge prospectors have been conducting intermittent inspections here for decades, but a few months ago, they were guided by senior leaders from the alliance and discovered the ruins of Odaman.

After months of excavation, some amazing discoveries have come back to the light of day.

Among them, the remaining texts in some ancient tunnels allowed the dwarves to obtain first-hand clues to the true origin of their own race.

The dwarf prince Brian Bronzebeard, who is on alliance missions and is indeed very interested in the origin of his own race, recently arrived here under the escort of four Dalaran mages.

"Oh, the climate here is so bad! The barren land is better than here, and the stove at the Iron Fort is cooler than here!" Brian, sweating profusely licked a crystal popsicle, complaining and admiring:

"Fortunately, the Grand Marshal invented a good thing like ice cream! Otherwise, the iron felt of the Iron Fortress would not be willing to come to this ghost place!"

"The ice cream was invented by the principal. But the popsicle you are eating in your hand is made by me. Should you also add my name when you are grateful?"

A figure shorter than a dwarf, also licking popsicles, emitting dissatisfaction doubts next to him.

His name is Gerbin, a dwarf from Nomorigan, who is an advanced mage of Kenreto, and the initiator and founder of the Secret Machinery Society, one of the internal organizations of Dalaran.

Secret Machinery Club is a spontaneous small team, and all mages who like or are interested in machinery are welcome to join.

Dalaran has not recognized this organization yet, but as long as it develops, Kenreto is willing to accept it.

Since the new speaker came to power, Kenretto's internal policies have been wiped out for thousands of years of unchanging pedanticism.

This mage organization has gone from a mysterious organization that used to hide and study arcane to a secular organization that is now going out to contact the public and providing mysterious services to the public.

There are probably not a hundred or dozens of internal small groups like the Secret Machinery Association formed by Gerbin.

They can be understood as small hills inside Kenreto, or they can be understood as various club activities on university campuses.

Gerbin is the president of the Secret Armor Association. This time he escorted Brian Bronzebeard with him. The other three Kenretto members who came to the desolate land can also be regarded as members of the Secret Armor Association.

They are good friends of Gerbin, Millhouse Mana Storm, Millifent Mana Storm and Hico Themaprag.

That's right, Milificent is now named Mana Storm.

Not long ago, when the Dwarf Mage Team returned to Dalaran from Northrend to report.

Milificent forced Millhouse to marry, and the latter agreed happily that the two newly grown dwarf boys and girls got married in a flash.

Milificent is now Mrs. Mana Storm, and his surname has certainly become Mana Storm.

For this matter, Gerbin drank the oil-flavored beer for several days and was sad for several days.

Milificent is his goddess, although he is already the goddess of the past.

When the goddess got married, she naturally cried bitterly.

However, Gerbin was a cheerful and good dwarf and quickly accepted the fact that the goddess married a good friend.

He blessed them, and the friendship was as always, only threatening Millhouse once:

"If you dare to treat Milificent badly, I must have you looked good."

The young but very steady mana storm rolled his eyes and ignored the threat from his friends.

The marriage incident that led to a crisis in friendship ended.

The relationship between the dwarf F4 continued. This time, he took on the exploration mission of protecting the dwarf prince arranged by Kenreto and appeared in a barren land together.

This is where the beginning of Gerbin is dissatisfied with Brian's only concern for the Speaker's goodness and does not praise him for providing popsicles!

The "Gerbin Mini Popsicle Quick Maker" invented by His Excellency Gerbin Mekatok was very popular in Dalaran and the League.

This engineering machine that can make cool popsicles on hot days is very simple, without even magic, brings a lot of money to Gerbin.

He is now the richest person in the dwarf F4, so there is no need to continue to take risks and earn points.

But Gerbin came.

This restless dwarf wizard prefers the feeling of adventure and fighting with his companions.

Instead of staying in the lab.

Hearing the dissatisfied complaints from Little Gerbin, Brian, who is generous in character, laughed, "Of course! Of course!"

"I would also like to thank the great Lord Gerbin Mekatok for providing us with this cold drink that allows us to have a very pleasant place in this place!"

"All members of the alliance should thank you Gerbin Mekatok! I heard that "Gerbin Brand Mini Popsicle Quick Maker" is so crazy in Iron Fort!"

Just praise, Brian doesn't care. Dwarves like to praise people the most.

Milificent Mana Storm took out a pocket watch and looked at the time:

"How long will it take for us to get to the camp? Although there is an ice barrier, it is too much effort to maintain the ice barrier in such a place."

Shiko Themaprag took out the map and looked at it:

"At the speed of our progress, we should be able to reach the Bronzebeard Camp before dark today."

The Bronzebeard Camp is a permanent stronghold established by Iron Fort a few months ago after discovering traces of the Oldaman ruins.

The members of the alliance come to the barren land, whether they are taking risks or having other purposes, and will spend the night in the Bronzebeard camp or replenish their supplies.

"Let's go, let's go. This is the first time I have come to such a desolate place. Iron Fort is on it, it's so hot here!"

Brian tightened his hat, licked the last piece of smoothie on the popsicle, and slapped himself in the wind with his big hands.

"Wait a minute."

Millhouse, who had not spoken, suddenly spoke.

"What's wrong? Millhouse, I don't want to stay here for a moment. I really want to go to the camp as soon as possible. Although I know that the conditions in the camp should not be very good, it's always better than spending the night in the wilderness. I said that it was the night of staying up late as a sentinel!" Gerbin said in a chattering voice.

Millhouse shook his head slightly.

He pointed ahead, behind a large cluster of cactus, a large shadow formed by the sun shining down.

"Well, I feel it too." Shiko Themaprag quickly put away the map and took out his staff.

"What?" Brian was curious, but he was not worried.

First, he is actually strong, and second, the mage team that escorted him has proved their strength on the way.

Brian believes in the dwarfs.

"It should be a mountain lion. Obviously, they treated us as prey and were ready to ambush us." Millhouse said softly, and suddenly smiled at Milificent:

"Dear, I remember when you were picking Sefrosa, you made me a mountain lion meatball, which tasted great. I still remember that taste..."

"I wonder if the mountain lions on this side of the desolate land, their fleshy texture and the mountain lions on the Hillsbrad hills are better or worse."

"You want to eat? My dear, I'll call you now!"

Milificent was aggressive, and the Ao Neng surged, and the energy of the flame condensed on her head, and a hot fireball quickly formed.

Rush towards the shadows.

"Ao"

The screams of the beast and the explosion of the flames sounded at the same time.

Gerbin muttered: "I hate mountain lions, I hate Millhouse!"

He also began casting spells.

It’s not too easy for four high-level mages to deal with a group of wild beasts.

Brian Bronzebeard looked at it with a laugh from behind.

What the dwarfs and dwarves don't know is another place in the barren land when they dealt with this group of poor and unlucky mountain lions.

Speaker Dalaran is also dealing with a group of "wild monsters" in a barren land.

This is a barren land, a canyon terrain called Lethero Canyon.
