From another perspective, the "emotional barrier" is the "inner enemy" of Master Ren himself - his Dharma name is "inner", which means he has "attached to appearances" - which is what Buddhism calls "heart demon". With this "attachment", it is as firm as metal and stone; except for one's own understanding, it is difficult for immortals and Buddhas to "break"! As the author said: "Until that time is free, no matter how much talk is, he will not understand it." The ideological connotation of this story is almost involved in the "I" and "defense" of the Xuanlei master of the Tang Dynasty. However, the author can understand it easily and exert it to the extreme of the novel art. The high artistic conception is almost beyond the reach of people.

The former is sitting in meditation, and in addition to attracting Yingying and Lin, he also needs to settle a cause and effect between the latter two - that is, waiting for the two immortals to be saved and converted to Buddhism (25).

The author starts with the opening of the Emei Mansion and the immortals watching the wonder of the Buddha's light in the golden summit, and then tells the story of "Western Pushi Golden Wheel" appearing in the air. Suddenly, the treasure is announced to save those who are destined to be saved. According to the saying, the "Public Pushi Golden Wheel" is the manifestation of the "spiritual light and wisdom bead" of the Tianmeng monk who has already participated in the highest merits in Buddhism. In order to make a "wish heart" made a thousand years ago, I came to the Emei Golden Wheel to attract Xie, who had a relationship with Buddhism in his previous life, and Ye and the other immortals took refuge and returned to their original state. But as the saying goes, "It is difficult for sentient beings to save others"! The people you save must be voluntarily and cannot force them at all; otherwise, those who practice this "Public Pushi Golden Wheel" Buddhism will suffer on their own and mislead others and themselves!

Regarding the story of this wonderful Buddhist truth, the author's writing is extremely subtle. It turns out that the two immortals had never thought of taking refuge at the beginning, waiting for the other monks around him to remind him: "At this time, people should understand it long ago, have you not come forward to receive the Buddha's light yet?" The two immortals were comprehensible and bowed to the ground. But they realized that the Buddha's light had just covered their whole body, "wisdom was suddenly empty, like a fertile dew, and the heart was cool; all the experiences of the calamity were like stone, fire, and lightning, and they glanced through their minds; all the causes and consequences were all clear."

The wonder of this great event is that the two immortals have never realized themselves at first, and they still have "attachment to Dharma" in their hearts; therefore, even though they have been illuminated by the Buddha's body by the "Public Golden Wheel", they still have not been able to achieve great enlightenment; and it is necessary to wait for Zen Master Tianmeng to give Xie Shan a "snap" and Master Fentuo to "show the Dharma in one voice" to truly understand the original nature.

The author wrote that Xie Shan still had a "holding" in his heart, and wanted to ask Zen Master Tianmeng to include it, and he passed it on to Buddhism. As soon as he was bowing down, the Zen Master suddenly reached out and slapped him, shouting, "You already understand, why are you confused? I didn't ask yourself, but I came to look for me?"

Xie Shan was awakened by this "snap". He was as if he was awakened and his heart was clear and clear. He immediately bowed: "Thank you for your kindness and guidance, and his mind was full of mercy and guidance." The Zen master smiled and said, "How can you see it?" Xie Shan stood up and pointed his hand at Emei Ningbi Cliff, but saw:

It is the flowers that are full of smiles, and they are all fragrant, auspicious and auspicious, and colorful shadows.

The sky is clear and foggy, and there are no clouds; the lakes on both sides of the Hongqiao Bridge are bright waves like mirrors; the lake is blue and white

The lotus flowers are blooming all over the place, the flowers are as big as buckets, the plants are planted in a pavilion, and the fragrance is sent slightly. That round

The cold moon is shining on the heart of the waves. The bell of the Hundred Eight Pestles to welcome the monk in front of the Hongyufang is coming

The ending sound is difficult to draw the clear scenery, and the secluded immortals and mortals are rare.

At this point, Xie Shan has already realized the truth by observing the scenery; and the author uses the artistic technique of "waves and waves to create waves" to describe Tianmeng and Xie Shan fighting each other to express the supreme ideological realm of "passing the lamp". Ye Bin originally had wisdom and knew that he had "no fate", but he hoped that the master could briefly show the Zen technique and give the Dharma name to practice by himself. When he was speaking, the bell on the clouds outside the hall was hitting the "No Pestle".

The master smiled and said, "Since you ask humbly, you can tell how many bells sounds outside the hall are.

"Ye Bin bowed and replied, "The bell sounds hundreds of eight pestles, only one sound." The master asked again:

"The clock has stopped colliding, is this sound still there?" Ye Bin replied again: "It has not stopped, why

Not here? If it is not here, what if it hits it?" The master smiled and said, "You understand why

Still come to ask me? Someone treats her in Xiaohan Mountain, ask her to go!" Ye Bin realized his great enlightenment.

Smile and stand with a respectful attitude, no longer asking questions.

Therefore, the two immortals converted to Buddhism and took the Dharma name "Hanyue" and "Yiyin".

Let us take a look at the story of the two immortals' enlightenment. The author not only cleverly used the "strike the light" and "study the chorus" in the records of Zen Buddhism. "Shoot the Moon" and dealt with it highly artistically. At the same time, in the novel skills, he can also violate and avoid it, and has the wonder of different flowers and fruits. As for whether the reader can understand the samadhi of "Buddhist literaryization", the author is loyal to art and is arrogant but not secular. As the Vimalakirti Sutra says: "The Buddha preaches the Dharma with one sound, and all sentient beings follow their understanding." Trustworthy!

For example, the master of the Huanzhu Tower described the two women in the Xiandu "flowers bloom and see Buddha" and realized the state of existence and non-formity. It also fully demonstrated that he was able to integrate Buddha and his great attainments; as for the description of the god Tuo Yixiu's tumbling on Tongyao Island, the immortals of Emei joined forces to eliminate the strange disasters in the center of the earth; the Zen Master Zunsheng saved the old man of the corpse; the description of Jiu Panpo who was lucky to protect his soul when he was in a disaster due to his occasional kindness, etc. (26), all of them showed that the power of "benevolence" in the center of life philosophy - humanitarian thought - "benevolence"; because he could move the sky and the earth, he could transform danger into a barbarism. All of this was in line with the Confucian way of loyalty and forgiveness, rather than just talking about mysterious verses, and the strange power and chaos of the gods were able to do it!

Conclusion: A treasure mirror reflecting the phenomenon of society in troubled times

In short, the appearance of the master Huanzhu Tower and the release of the series of works "The Legend of the Swordsman in Shushan" are by no means accidental! The inquiry has certain causes and consequences, and it can also be said to be "born from the times"

As for the background of the novels in Huanzhu, in the 20th year of the Republic of China, the government invaded China, but the government was invaded by both sides due to "internal and external troubles", and the war was not determined.
