223、The small village in Shennongjia

Shennongjia is one of the most mysterious places in China today, with countless myths and legends.

Shennongjia was not called Shennongjia in ancient times, but was called "Xiongshan". "Shan Hai Jing·Zhongci Jiu Jing" says: "Another 150 miles east, it is called Xiongshan. There is a cave, and Xiong's cave is always a god. It is opened in summer and closed in winter, which is the cave. When it is opened in winter, there must be soldiers. There are more white jade on it and more white gold on it. There are more willows in the forest, and more grasses are more enemy... Xiongshan is the emperor!"

In modern society, the legend of savages is circulated from time to time in Shennongjia. Of course, so far, there is no accurate evidence that there are savages.

However, in myths and legends, the ghost carriage bird recorded in the Shanhai Sutra comes from Shennongjia. From its name, it can be seen that this place is related to the Yan Emperor Shennong, the two emperors of Yan Huang in China.

From Shennongjia east is a primeval forest. There is a small village with dozens of families beside the forest. This small village is isolated from the world. Even though it is already a modern society, people here basically make a living by going up the mountain to collect herbs and hunting.

On this day, a foreigner came to this small village that looked like a paradise. You should know that there is no road to reach this small village. You have to walk at least three hours of mountain road from this small village to the nearest town, so generally no outsiders will come for a few years.

The simplicity and kindness of the people in the mountains made them entertain the foreigner enthusiastically. When the elder in the village saw that the foreigner was still a young man in his twenties, he generously took out some wild game to entertain him.

Although the young man said he would pay, the villagers smiled and refused, perhaps because no outsiders have been here in nearly two years.

Later, the young man asked some elders in the village many legends or strange things about Shennongjia.

Mr. Wu is the village chief of this small village. Strictly speaking, he was the former village chief. Since his son and daughter-in-law went into the mountains to collect herbs a year ago, he has gone crazy and said that his son had come back to find him. He also brought him a message saying that the villagers wanted the villagers to move out of here as soon as possible, otherwise there would be a big disaster. How could the village believe it? Moreover, Mr. Wu looks crazy, so he became the crazy person in the eyes of the village. However, the villagers are also kind. Although Mr. Wu is crazy, Mr. Wu has a little grandson Wu Xiaojie. Over the past year, every household in the village has taken turns to take care of the crazy Mr. Wu and Wu Xiaojie.

After hearing about Mr. Wu, the young foreigner asked the villagers to take him to see Mr. Wu. So, under the leadership of the villagers, he came to a house located in the north of the village.

After leaving Rongcheng, Lin Yuexi flew aimlessly at a high altitude for several days, he accidentally heard the legend of savages about Shennongjia, so he decided to go to Shennongjia. Today, he had just flew into Shennongjia and discovered such a small village, so he decided to go to the village to ask. So, the foreigner was Lin Yuexi.

Under the leadership of the villagers, Lin Yuexi just arrived in front of this house located in the north of the village and felt a vague sense of yin energy covering the low house. In broad daylight, the door of the house was also closed tightly, giving people a gloomy feeling.

The man who brought Lin Yuexi sighed and said, "Hey, since Angkor and Mrs. Wu unfortunately left, Mr. Wu locked himself in the house every day, and often talked wildly, which made Xiaojie a child miserable. Originally, Xiaojie was very clever and ran around the village all day, but now he stayed in the house all day long with Mr. Wu, and only came out when he delivered food to them in the village."

Lin Yuexi frowned slightly. From the yin energy in this room, we can see that things are definitely not simple. You should know that it is noon now, and there is such a heavy yin energy under the scorching sun. You can imagine how heavy the yin energy here is.

"Brother Wu, did you not look for Wu's son and daughter-in-law when Wu Bogong disappeared? " Lin Yuexi asked. There are only two surnames in this small village, one in Wu and the other in Wang.

The man surnamed Wu sighed and said, "Why didn't you go to search? We went to search for it for several days, but we couldn't find anything."

"Since nothing has been found, how can you make sure they are dead?" Lin Yuexi asked.

"I have been missing for so long, so I must have died. Besides, the village has gone up the mountain to collect herbs and hunting, and I have lost people. Let me tell you, it is already twenty-six this year. If I know, not including Angkor and Mrs. Wu, I have lost two people. They both disappeared after entering the mountain." The man surnamed Wu fell.

"In this way, why haven't the people in your village moved away?" Lin Yuexi said.

The man surnamed Wu shook his head and said, "The villagers have lived here for hundreds of years and are definitely unwilling to move away. Moreover, there are often wild animals in the mountains. There are risks in entering the mountains, so it is certain that they will disappear."

Lin Yuexi could understand after hearing this, but now it seems that the missing person in this village was probably not attacked by wild animals or something.

"Brother Wu, I want to go in and talk to Mr. Wu. I don't know if it's okay?" Lin Yuexi asked.

The man surnamed Wu was stunned when he heard this, and felt a little embarrassed: "This...is not something I said I can. It mainly depends on whether Mr. Wu is willing to open the door. If he doesn't want to open the door, I can't do anything."

"Then please help me ask." Lin Yuexi said, and put a few RMB into his hands without any trace.

The man surnamed Wu understood it and went straight to the house. Lin Yuexi shook his head slightly and said to himself: It seems that no matter how simple and kind the place is, there will be some people who are different.

The man surnamed Wu used the local dialect to call him the door, and Lin Yuexi couldn't understand it, so he waited patiently.

When the man surnamed Wu seemed to be about to give up, the door suddenly opened with a creaking sound. A gray airflow rushed out of the house in Lin Yuexi's eyes, and then melted in the sun. The man surnamed Wu also shook subconsciously, but he didn't seem to care too much.

A small pale face with a sickly face stretched out from the dark room. This was a little boy, who looked seven or eight years old, had a thin figure, and his thin lips were tightly pursed. After looking at the man surnamed Wu, he floated to Lin Yuexi.

When Lin Yuexi saw the child's eyes, his body shook slightly. He saw the face of a strange man in the child's eyes, and the man seemed to be looking at him.

The man surnamed Wu was obviously used to the appearance of a child. A trace of pity flashed through his eyes. He reached out and touched the child's head, turned his head to Lin Yuexi and said, "He is the only child of Angkor. Since the accident in Angkor, this has become like this in just one year."

Lin Yuexi nodded calmly.

Then the man surnamed Wu squatted down and asked, "Xiaojie, where is your grandfather?"

The child didn't finish speaking, but just raised his hand and pointed to the dark room. Lin Yuexi found that the child's nails were a little gray and black, just like the nails of dead people.

The man surnamed Wu followed the child's point and looked into the room. Seeing that it was pitch black inside, he couldn't help but have a cold war and turned around to ask Lin Yuexi what he meant.

Lin Yuexi shook his head and said, "Forget it, Brother Wu, let's go to another place to have a look."

The man surnamed Wu was relieved when he heard this. Although the people in the village took turns to take care of the grandparents and grandchildren of Wu Bogong and Wu Xiaojie, they were generally unwilling to enter the house. Although they didn't know anything, they could feel a kind of gloomy. Human nature made them not willing to enter.
