Section 484: The Edge of the Broken Bridge

Yunluo is sometimes quite stupid, and he intuitively can pretend to be seamless with a black baseball cap. He and Liu Xun walked openly by the West Lake. Liu Xun, a beautiful woman with deep wine-red hair, and the tall and cool Yunluo, were very eye-catching. However, it was Yunluo's high profile that delayed the time for the celebrity Siren to be recognized later.

If it weren't for this, the photos of the hot beauty who was holding hands and wandering around the West Lake would be flying all over the sky. It would be strange if An Chu met Yan Chenyu's new coalition forces and were not angry. Especially Yan Chenyu was also concerned about the clouds at this time. After this gloomy mood, the cold and beautiful beauty would be thrilled again.

Xiangchu Junko didn't care about how many girls there were around Yunluo. The little maid was originally trained as a top sociable girl. When An Chu met Yan Chenyu and was full of jealousy, Xiangchu Junko and Husky, Red Mouse Tangtang, and Black Cat and Black Charcoal had a lot of fun. The little maid's happiness was very simple.

The sun was just right, and Yun Luo and Liu Xun walked side by side and arrived at the northeast corner of West Lake. It was the Shengtang Gate built by Bai Juyi to dredge the lake water. It still plays a role today. The Shengtang Gate was first built in the sixth year of Xianchun in the Southern Song Dynasty and was called Jiuqu Zhaoqing Bridge. It was called Liushui Bridge in the Ming Dynasty. It was set up under the bridge and opened and closed according to the rise and fall of the West Lake water. It originally connected to Jiuqu Xia Lake and then entered Xinhe. It was a three gate with Shihan Gate and Zhonglong Gate on the north side.

There is a group of "Farewell to Bai Juyi's Group of Sculptures" under the Shengtang Gate, which reproduces the scene of "Hongjun's gratitude and separation" back then.

Bai Juyi, who was over 50 years old, came to the beautiful West Lake City as the governor. When he was frustrated in the officialdom, he was refreshed when he saw the mountains and rivers of West Lake. On the day he arrived in West Lake City, he couldn't wait to write "Xihu City Governor Thanks for the Foreword", and from then on, the great poet and beautiful mountains and rivers began his eternal love.

Bai Juyi has numerous political achievements in Xihu City, but the most prominent of them are the dredging of Liu Wells and the building of the Xihu Lake Lake Dike. The first thing he dredged was the six wells dug by Li Qin forty years ago, and the second was the remediation of West Lake and the construction of the lake embankment.

In May of the fourth year of Changqing in the Tang Dynasty, when Bai Juyi was appointed as the governor of Xihu City, he was ordered to leave Hangzhou and go to Luoyang, a farewell scene of "Hang Lao covered the ruts" appeared. When he left, he left a lake of clear water, a fragrant embankment, and a clear spring for the people of Xihu City. Two hundred poems. The mountains and rivers of Xihu Lake were illuminated by Bai Gong's wonderful writing, adding artistic charm and becoming the brilliant jade of West Lake culture.

When he left, the people helped the elderly and the young, took stones and slurped in stones and saw him off. When he bid farewell, Bai Juyi gave him a poem: "There are many poor households with high taxes, and the farmers are hungry and hungry. Only a lake can be left to save you from the evil year."

"If there is no Bai and Su in Xihu City, half of the scenery will be reduced to West Lake." At that time, Xihu City saw a moving farewell scene of "Hang Lao covering the ruts" appearing. This group of group sculptures reproduced the scene of Bai Juyi leaving in a crowd of farewell with the praise of Xihu City and the mood of being closely connected with the elders of Xihu City.

Regarding West Lake, Yunluo is more clear about the allusions than Liu Xun, and leisurely guides the beautiful scenery. There are four love bridges: "Xiling Bridge", "Chang Bridge", "Broken Bridge" and "Span Hongqiao Bridge".

The most famous is Broken Bridge, whose name is associated with the lingering and sad love story in "The Legend of the White Snake". On the Broken Bridge, the moving love story of Xu Xian and Bai Snake made Broken Bridge the most famous bridge among the many bridges on West Lake.

Broken Bridge is located at the eastern end of the Baidi of West Lake. It is backed by Baoshi Mountain and facing Xihu City. It is the water division point between Waihu Lake and Beili Lake and is also one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. The bridge has pavilion buildings such as Yubei Pavilion, facing Lixi Lake and Baoshi Mountain. Baoshu Tower is opposite the lake. The mountains, towers, lakes, pavilions, bridges and peaches and willows by the lake form a picturesque scenery, which is very charming.

Yun Luo said gently to Liu Xun, and the hands of the two people quietly held: "The Broken Bridge is the only way to Gushan. Whenever the auspicious snow has just cleared, there are many tourists on the Broken Bridge, Gushan and Lixi Lake are covered with silver, which is particularly moving. Standing on the Gem Mountain, looking south, the West Lake is covered with silver, and the white embankment is covered with snow willows and frosted peaches."

"I like broken bridges very much. It is probably because the arch of the broken bridge is unobstructed. The ice and snow melt in the sun, revealing the mottled bridge railings. The two ends of the bridge are still covered by white snow. The vaguely distinguishable stone bridge body seems to appear and appear, while the white snow in the culvert is radiant, and the bridge deck is gray-brown, which looks like a broken but not a broken bridge, so it is called the broken snow."

Liu Xun listened quietly, not the story, but the love for her in Yunluo. The girl, no matter what, always longed for love. Yunluo smiled and mentioned the beautiful mythological story of Bai Snake and Xu Xian to the beauty, and met here in the legend of "The Legend of the White Snake".

Legend has it that White Snake was originally a little white snake practicing in the mountains. One day, she was caught by an old snake-catching man and almost suffered a life-threatening disaster. Fortunately, she was rescued by a little shepherd boy. After 1,700 years of cultivation, White Snake finally turned into a human form.

During the Qingming Festival, misty rain and rain, Guanyin Master said that he had the opportunity to meet thousands of miles away and had to look for it at the height of the West Lake." On the bridge deck of the West Lake Broken Bridge, the love was conveyed by an umbrella. Bai Snake finally found Xu Xian, the savior of his previous life, and made a promise to him and became a husband and wife. After experiencing the water flooding Jinshan, he met again at the Broken Bridge and continued his previous relationship.

Among the many large and small bridges in West Lake in ancient and modern times, broken bridges are the most famous. The earliest record of "breaking bridges and snow" was Zhang Hu of the Tang Dynasty. His poem "Inscription on Gushan Temple in West Lake City" says: The towers and towers are towering and the sky enter the middle of the lake. Without rain, the mountains are moist, and the clouds are cloudy. The broken bridge is wild and moist, and the flowers are deep in the empty courtyard. I still remember the moon in the west window, and the bells are sounded in the north forest.

The broken bridge was built earlier than the Tang Dynasty. The bridge body was repaired in all dynasties. It is now a single-hole stone arch bridge with arched semicircles and stone masonry. The arched stone has the words "Duanjia Bridge". The bridge deck is a slope and paved asphalt.

The imperial stele with the inscription "Broken Bridge and Snow" is located on the north side of the eastern end of the broken bridge. The original stele was a visit to West Lake in the 38th year of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. It was written in "Ten Scenes of West Lake". The imperial stele "Broken Bridge and Snow" was named after the stone.

The water pavilions in the clouds and water light are the beginning of the Baidi. The entrance of Geling is located on the side of the broken bridge. The clouds and willows are here to see the rippling water of the outer lake. The water pavilions in the lake are connected to the sky, making people feel far and deep. The water pavilions in the clouds and water light are built near the lake, with black tiles and red railings, which are one of the famous water pavilions on the lakeside.

A Song people once wrote a poem that specifically chanted the scenery here: in the water, moonlight, mist and shadows, towers gush out. Outdoor, Xiao Sheng, jokes among the clouds, people are in Penglai. The fragrance of the sky is faintly chasing the wind, and lotus flowers bloom for nearly ten miles. Buy a boat, travel the south of the mountain, and return to the north of the mountain.

There is an open pavilion beside the clouds and waters, called Zao Sitiancheng. Standing at the bridge, looking around, the distant mountains and near waters, you can see it in your eyes. Enjoy the snow scenery of West Lake, and the love bell is unique to the broken bridge.

Liu Xun likes romance with Yunluo. There is no other girl, only she and him, and she is deeply in love. Liu Xun is not stupid. He knows that Yunluo is always a little unhappy with her strength, but Liu Xun doesn't care. Yunluo is a gentleman, chatting with Liu Xun while walking, and he can easily pinch all kinds of allusions about the Broken Bridge.

The name of Broken Bridge was obtained in the Tang Dynasty and was called Baoyou Bridge in the Song Dynasty. Legend has it that in the Yuan Dynasty, a couple surnamed Duan who lived on the bridgehead, also known as Duanjia Bridge. At that time, the Baisha Dike of West Lake winded from Gushan to this point, and only a small wooden bridge was closely connected to the lakeshore. The sun and rain, the bridge boards were often broken, which was very inconvenient for tourists.

The couple surnamed Duan is kind-hearted and diligent. The man fishes in the lake for a living. The woman sets up a wine stall at the door, and sells a wine shop. However, due to the poor taste of the wine, customers rarely come to the door and the business is light. One day at dusk, a ragged white-haired old man came from afar and was penniless, and asked to stay overnight.

Seeing that he was pitiful, the Duan couple kept him enthusiastically, and cooked a carp that had just been caught from the West Lake, and brought a bowl of home-made wine to entertain the elderly. The old man was not polite and drank three large bowls in a row and fell asleep.

The next morning, the white-haired old man took out three red pills before leaving and said, "Thank you for your kind hospitality. I have three wine medicines here, which can help you make good wine." After that, he said goodbye.

The Duan family put three wine medicines from the old man in the brewing tank. The wine brewed was scarlet, extremely sweet and fragrant. From then on, there were many customers every day, and the Duan family scarlet wine was famous in Xihu City, and its business was prosperous day by day. Later, the Duan family demolished the hut and built a restaurant. In order to thank the white-haired old man, they saved some money and prepared to thank him.

Three years later, in the winter, it was snowing heavily in the West Lake and the white-haired old man came to the Duan family restaurant again. When the couple saw their benefactor coming, they were overjoyed and left the money to the old man to stay in his house for a long time. However, the old man had to say goodbye the next day. Before leaving, the Duan family took out silver and gave it to the old man.

The old man smiled and refused, "Thank you couple for your kindness. I, a lonely old man, why do you want so much money? You should use it in the most important place." After that, he walked towards the bridge on the snow.

The Duan family stood at the door and saw him see him. He just stepped onto the small wooden bridge. His feet slipped and the bridge board broke. The old man also fell into the lake. The couple hurried to rescue him. Suddenly, the white-haired old man stood on the lake, walking on the flat ground, and waved to them with a smile, and then left. The Duan family realized that the white-haired old man was not an ordinary person.

I remembered what the old man said before leaving and used the money to build a tall bluestone arch bridge at the original small wooden bridge. From then on, those who visited West Lake were no longer afraid of the road slide bridge collapse. The villagers missed the good things of the Duan couple doing good deeds in building bridges, so they called this bridge Duanjia Bridge.

Because there is a door on the bridge and an eaves on the door, when it snows, the middle section of the snow is on the eaves of the door. There is only snow on the two ends of the bridge. From a distance, the bridge looks like it is broken, so it is also called a broken bridge. Earlier, there was an imperial stele pavilion on the side of each of the "Ten Scenerys of West Lake". The front of the imperial stele in the pavilion was the name of the scenic spot written by Kangxi, and the back of it was a poem by Qianlong for the scenic spot.
