Chapter 1112 Holding hands with happiness

Unfortunately, the Sphinx's nose is no longer available, but how its nose falls is also a mystery. ☆→A widely circulated saying is that when Napoleon invaded Egypt in 1798, he saw it solemn and majestic, as if he was demonstrating to himself. In anger, he bombed its nose with cannonballs. However, there were records of its lack of a nose long before Napoleon.

The only fact is that the Sphinx is not only available in Cairo, Egypt. It is only the largest and oldest in Cairo.

One stop for those who come to Cairo is to visit the Egyptian Museum. No matter how the pyramids and the vast valley of the emperors have shaken your heart, their masters and their burial objects are quietly lying here.

The Egyptian Museum was designed and planned by Mariet, a famous French archaeologist who was called "the father of Egyptian museums" by the Egyptians in 1858 and was built from 1897 to 1901. The purpose was to prevent the excavated Egyptian national treasures from flowing abroad, so the Egyptians respected him very much.

Located on the east bank of the Nile River in Cairo, next to the Liberation Square, the museum is a pink two-story building. Although it only has two floors, it is one of the most famous museums in the world because it contains more than 300,000 cultural relics from ancient Egypt from the ancient kingdom, the Middle Kingdom to the New Kingdom period.

There are more than 60,000 pieces on display in the exhibition hall alone, but can this amazed Yun Luo from another ancient country?

There is a rectangular pool in front of the Egyptian Museum, where the pool is planted with "lotus" representing ancient Upper Egypt and "sedge" representing Lower Egypt.

(In the former dynasty, Egypt was bounded by Memphis, and there were two independent regimes located in the upper and lower reaches of the Nile River. Among them, the southern part of the upper reaches was Upper Egypt, and the northern part of the lower reaches was Lower Egypt.) The four corners of the pool were two sphinxes and two stone statues of Ramses II.

Directly above the arched gate of the museum is the portrait of the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor, wearing a sun wheel and a ox horn. Hathor is the most beautiful of all the goddesses in ancient Egypt, and her appearance turns into a ox. It is mentioned in Greek as the goddess of the sky.

Photos are not allowed in the Egyptian Museum, so you have to store all the cameras before entering, maybe because you are afraid of copying, but this will allow Yun Luo to concentrate on experiencing every miracle that has been covered with thousands of years.

The first thing you see when you enter the museum is the Rosetta Stone (Rocolor Ttastone), which is a basalt stele with three texts: ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, ancient Egyptian alphabet characters and Greek characters. It is the key to deciphering the ancient Egyptian and its history for more than 4,000 years. Unfortunately, this piece is actually a fake. The authentic one is in the British Museum in Britain.

Because the Egyptian Museum is mainly based on the cultural relics from the Pharaoh period, it is used to call it the "Pharaoh Museum". The first floor is displayed in the order of ancient Egypt's historical development. Here you can see precious cultural relics from the Roman rule period from the Ancient Kingdom period (2686 BC to 2181 BC) to the fifth and sixth centuries AD.

There may be too many cultural relics in Egypt, and many of them are placed there without any obstruction. Yun Luo couldn't help but touch them gently. The feeling of touching time and space thousands of years ago was really wonderful.

The second floor of the museum is a special showroom, and almost half are Tutankhamun's funeral objects. The "golden mask" weighing more than 110 kilograms, the 450-pound "golden coffin" and the exquisitely carved "gold chair", "gold bed", "gold stick" and so on are simply golden and luxurious. But this is very different from the golden treasures of the Forbidden City. It is longer here, but more vivid, before the "golden mask" created with Tutankhamun's face.

Yun Luo could clearly see the handsome and childish appearance of the 18-year-old pharaoh three thousand years ago. The cobra on his forehead and the vulture behind his head symbolize the infinite power and mysterious power of the rulers of the upper and lower Egypt. Yun Luo thought, would anyone possess the soul if he took it with him on his head?

The young pharaoh Tutan Amon of the 18th Dynasty died at the age of 18 and used three layers of golden coffins to bury the king's body. The Egyptian Museum is the innermost layer and the outermost layer. The middle layer is left in the Valley of the Kings. The golden coffin is painted and carved with exquisite details.

Legend has it that when the tomb of Tutankhamun was excavated, people dug out a spell version: "Gods, open the wings of death to those who hinder Pharaoh's sleep." Within two days of the excavation, the investor, Sir Kanafon, died of illness in the Cairo Hospital, opening the legend of "The Curse of Tutankhamun".

There are two other things in the museum that will be unforgettable to Yunluo: the jar containing the internal organs of the Pharaoh and the eyes of the statue of the 'Prince Rahotep and his wife Novrett'.

In ancient Egypt, one of the essential procedures for making mummies was to take out the organs of the pharaoh's internal organs, eyes, and the organs that would rot the body. Put them in different jars and soak them together with the mummies for use in the tombs for Pharaoh to resurrection. These jars are carved with no less so than gold crowns, gold chairs, and even more artistic and vivid.

The statue of Prince Rahotep and his wife Novrett is a seated statue carved on two stones. Both seated statues are painted. The prince's skin is dark and healthy. His wife is fair and dignified. The most incredible thing is that the eyes of the two people are as bright as real people, so that when the statue was first excavated and unearthed, he thought it was a resurrection of the real person.

It turns out that the eyes of the two people are made of crystals and built into their avatars. This is a masterpiece from thousands of years ago. What is it if it is not a fan?

Yun Luo met a kitten in the backyard, and let Yun Luo rub it without any scruples. His thin and bright appearance was the prototype of the Egyptian patron saint cat. Egyptian cats have an attitude! Perhaps because they were too lonely like the dust in the museum, they jumped on Yun Luo's legs and played and refused to come down.

Many people don’t know that in Egypt, where 95% of its land area is desert, there is actually a narrow and beautiful sea area, and it is one of the top ten diving resorts in the world. Yes, this is the Red Sea! It is located between the northeast of Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula, and its northwest is connected to the Mediterranean Sea through the Suez Canal.

The south is connected to the Gulf of Aden through the Mande Strait. The Red Sea is the inland sea northwest of the Indian Ocean. It is actually an extension of the northern part of the Great Rift Valley in East Africa and is also an important oil transportation channel. Therefore, many wars have broken out here in history. The Red Sea is a young sea.

About 20 million years ago, the Arabian Peninsula was separated from Africa and the Red Sea was born. Now it can be seen that the shapes of the two sides of the strait are very similar, which is the trace left by the torn of the mainland.

The Red Sea is a mysterious sea. In the Bible's Exodus, there is a story about Moses leading the Israelites across the Red Sea; some people say that the earliest Bible was discovered in the Red Sea. The Red Sea is an attractive sea. Just listening to the name, one must yearn for her.

Whether it is because of corals, seaweed, or the legend of Adam's woman Lilith, the Red Sea is indeed a beautiful lady who covers her face like a gauze.

In Egypt, there are many resorts along the Red Sea coast. The most famous one is Sharm El Sheikh on the Sinai Peninsula, which is of course the most expensive. The terrorist series of explosions that occurred in July 2005 are also here. The most famous one on the African continent is Hurghada.

It takes about 6 hours to drive from Cairo to Hurghada. Soon after driving out of the crowded Cairo, you can see the beautiful Red Sea. Walking along the coastline, there are almost no vehicles on the straight road, which is completely different from the feeling of dense shuttles on the Chinese expressway.

The endless highway divides the hot Egypt into two, half of which is to sway the charming Red Sea, swimming and fishing. If you are lucky, you can still see jumping dolphins; half is to be resolute and enthusiastic deserts and stone mountains, except for the windmills that generate electricity, no grass grows for hundreds of kilometers.

But it is such a wonderful combination that makes the originally ruthless sea and ruthless desert become passionate for a moment.

History is always surprisingly similar.

There are two women in the history of China that have been recorded in history, and in the longer period of Egypt, there are also two women who have surpassed men. One is Nalan Shiqi and Yunluo, who are well-known to everyone in Egypt. However, in theory, she is a Greek and is not a real queen of Egypt, so the earlier and more pure one is Queen Hachisu of the 18th Dynasty of ancient Egypt.

I don’t know if it is out of the jealousy of later generations, there are not many information about Queen Hachisu, but this cannot conceal the fact that she is the first female king in world history. Women who can be recorded in history are always full of criticism. Hachisu is the daughter of Thutmos I, and her husband Thutmos II is her half-brother.

After the death of Thutmos II, she took over the government affairs of the young Thutmos III as the queen mother, and later imprisoned Thutmos III, who should have succeeded to the throne, and established herself as king. So much so that Thutmos III was full of hatred for her, and after she took over the regime through bizarre death, she retaliated against all her statues and names.

But it is said that during her reign for more than 20 years, she had a developed economy and expanded territory. Her smart use of diplomacy and powerful maritime trade allowed her subjects to live and work in peace and prosperity and stability. Unlike the pharaohs of all generations, she had to use her outstanding military achievements to make history remember their names.

Back to the topic, what will this fierce and controversial queen's temple look like?

Today there are dams built in the mountains and dams built in ancient times. The temple of Hachisu (Temple of Hat) was built in the mountains and was magnificent. It was separated from the Valley of the Emperors. The towering mountain was turned into a huge natural screen.
