Chapter Thirty-Three My Heart Aches

Donnie opened the door and let John the Fireman come in. He looked at the boy who seemed a little restrained and nervous at this time.

To be honest, Donnie was very happy to have someone come to him, but there were some regrets that were not enough. The one who impressed him the most was the ice man Baby, a mutant with level 5 potential.

Babi is different from Phoenix Qin. Phoenix Qin has the power of Phoenix. It can be said that she has level five strength when she awakens, but the source of power was sealed by the professor in time. Babi, the ice man, has level five potential, although he is not capable now. As long as he has a certain chance in the future, Babi will discover his potential and become stronger. His unreasonable ice-making ability is theoretically able to freeze the entire universe. Of course, it is just theoretically that he may die of old age or be killed by others. After all, the big guys in this world are everywhere.

But John the Fire Man can come, which is enough to please Donnie.

Donnie squinted his eyes and asked him, "It's so late, what are you doing?" He asked knowingly, hoping that the boy could tell it himself.

John the Fire Man was very nervous, and a little sweat appeared on his green face. He stuttered and after a long time he could barely say a complete sentence: Are you still missing subordinates?

He was sweating profusely. For some reason, he became very nervous and under pressure when facing this young man. But because of this, he became more determined to make a decision in his heart.

"I am indeed planning to form my own team, and I am optimistic about you too." Donnie said lightly, causing John to suddenly look up and show his ecstatic gaze.

"But it is definitely not now, at least I can't let you join me yet, John, you're too young, you're not ready yet." Donny poured a basin of cold water, and was not polite.

John was dissatisfied and wanted to argue, telling the person in front of him that he had made enough preparations, but the next sentence was so shocked that he could not raise his head.

"You are too weak. I'm about to start a war with the vampire clan. It's extremely dangerous. How much can you help me? Maybe it will become a burden to me."

John lowered his head and was very frustrated. He could not refute Downey's words. The most tragic battle he had ever experienced was to fight with another group of people led by the Iceman Baby. They were all two worlds with Downey.

"Trust me, John, I'm happy that you can come to me, but you've come too early and you need to be stronger to join my team. Trust me, when you're strong enough, I'll come to you." Donnie patted John's shoulder and sighed.

When Donnie said this, he was so heartbroken. He was determined to form his own team, and he wanted to kidnap John's potential stock as his younger brother. But he couldn't. He was poor now. The biggest possibility of that so-called team was not to die in a battle with the enemy, but to starve to death collectively.

He, the great mechanic Donnie, a pauper, build a nonsense team, and then starve all to death?

How many extraordinary combat power can he support with the little money he has in his hands now? He even struggled to support himself, and he was so worried.

Donnie is just looking forward to risking his life to rob vampires and making a big profit. The wealth that has been hoarding for thousands of years should be very touching, right?

John left, with frustration and expectation, something flashed in his eyes, the boy seemed to understand what he should do in the future, and he finally had a goal.

Donnie patted the wall and sighed: "Have you heard enough? If you hear enough, leave quickly."

Then a little girl came out of the wall. If Donny remembers correctly, this little girl Katie, nicknamed Phantom Cat, has a space ability that can cross the barrier.

The little girl Katie stared at him for a while, and left without saying a word. She heard everything about Donny and John.

Donnie sat there in a daze. He covered his chest and let two little guys go in a row, which made him feel heartbroken. It costs money to pretend to be X. What he lacks the most is money, not to mention that his Transformers Legion also has to spend money continuously. This is a bottomless pit.

Donnie sighed repeatedly, beat his chest and stamped his feet, and was almost heartbroken.

"It seems you regret it. Do I need to call them back?" Professor X also came. This was impossible to hide from him. He joked to Donnie.

Donnie was so angry that he snorted: "Old man, do you believe it or not? I just wanted to kidnap them more than once. I kept holding it up. I regretted it to death. I felt heartbroken..."

The bald professor is rare and serious: "Donny, they are still too young and don't know anything. I don't want you to interfere too much, at least not now."

Donnie was silent and nodded helplessly. In school, John could learn knowledge, but only with Donnie, John's combat power would soar. Donnie had this confidence, but there was no doubt that the professor would not let others go easily.

Xavier School teaches these mutants more about how to be human and how to live in peace with humans. Only a small number of them have the opportunity to learn to fight after joining the X-Men.

Charles turned his wheelchair and asked Donny if he would continue to fight the vampire?

Donnie focused on the key points and explained that it was not a question of whether he wanted to fight or not, but a vampire would continue to fight with him and would not compromise easily. What's more, the vampire was carrying out a God-making plan, and Donnie was the best touchstone.

"The war cannot end, and I came here to seek opportunities to become stronger," said Donnie.

Charles nodded silently, saying that he would provide Donny with some help within his ability.

"Donny, sometimes I'm really worried that you will go on the same path as Eric." Charles expressed his concerns. He didn't want Donny to go on Eric's path, extreme and dangerous.

Donnie smiled, and he told the old man that he would not and could not be like Eric. But he really needed to shine his muscles, because there were still people coveting him now, and he needed a record to shock those little guys. They would beat Donnie's attention, but would not beat Professor X and Magneto, because they had been dealt with miserably by these two people, but they had not been dealt with miserably by Donnie.

"Professor, you have not used your ability to hurt many people, but this does not mean that they are not shocked by your strong ability. At least I will not be hostile to ordinary people. I am from the group of ordinary people. All mutants come from ordinary people." Donnie said with a smile, suddenly his heart moved and tentatively said: "Maybe the only one mutant in history is an exception."

"The first mutant? Who?" Charles was originally relieved of Donnie's philosophy. When he heard about this question, he looked at Donnie in confusion, and he was a little confused.

Donnie's heart suddenly sank, that terrible possibility became a reality.

"Just guess." Donny perfunctorily said that he guessed that the first mutant in history might be different from their younger generations.

Charles thought something, he could see what Downey had hidden from him, but since Downey refused to say it, he didn't need to ask, and he could also check the first mutant in history.

After the professor left, Donnie sat alone and was unable to complain.

It turns out that the timeline he is in has not been restarted yet, it is the most primitive one.

By the way, the dangerous old guy Apocalypse is still hibernating in the Egyptian pyramids, right? He has been sleeping for thousands of years.
