Chapter 36 Draco's Mission

Section 1

Finally, the train finally stopped at Hogwarts Station. When he got off, the platform was in a mess. The small platform had frozen and the cold rain was falling. Soren frowned. He could feel the breath of dementors around him. Harry was much better by his side, but Isabella still looked a little pale.

"Come here for the first grade!" a rough voice shouted - at the other end of the platform, Hagrid's burly figure was very prominent. He was waving to the panicked new students, and was going to lead them on a traditional journey across the lake.

"Okay, you guys?" Haeger shouted at them over the many heads. They waved to him, but there was no chance to talk to him, because the people around them were pushing them along the platform. Sauron and his men followed the other students of the school on a rough and muddy road, where at least a hundred carriages were waiting for the remaining students.

When Sauron and his men walked to the carriage, they heard the horses' uneasy neighing and the sound of their hooves stomping on the ground.

"What did you hear?" Harry asked. "I seemed to hear the horse scream."

"Maybe it was the invisible horses," Hermione said uncertainly. "I remember reading in the book that "A History of Hogwarts" says that Hogwarts' carriage was pulled by an invisible horse."

"What horse is it?" Ron asked.

"It's the Theatres," said Isabella, who looked a little weak and leaned against Sauron. "Only those who have seen death can see it."

Harry and the others were stunned, while Sauron was a little surprised. He glanced at Isabella with some pity and patted her on the shoulder comfortably. Just now, the dementor seemed to remind the little girl of something terrible. The atmosphere in the carriage became a little depressed, and everyone didn't say anything, and silence enveloped the few people.

The carriage rolled in, and in front was a pair of magnificent cast iron doors, with many stone pillars on both sides, and winged boars at the top. Soren saw two tall dementors wearing hijabs standing on both sides of the gate, guarding them. It seemed that a cold wave was coming towards the carriage. Harry and his men shrank into their uneven seats, closed their eyes until they walked into the gate. The carriage increased its speed in the long sloped lane and drove to the front of the castle; Hermione leaned out the window and watched as many corner towers and towers gradually approached them. Finally, the carriage stopped swayingly, and several people got out of the carriage one after another.

When Soren got off the car, Yeshi screamed again uneasy and his hooves were digging to the ground. Soren frowned. Yeshi was indeed a sensitive animal. A month was too short, and he could not completely restrain the breath of the dragon, which made the Yeshi feel anxious.

Several people joined the crowd who walked up the stone steps, walked past the huge oak door, and walked into the deep vestibule; the torches in the vestibule were illuminated. There was a magnificent marble staircase leading upstairs in the vestibule.

The door to the right of the auditorium was open. As soon as the few people walked into the hall, they heard a voice shouting: "Potter! Granger! I want to see you two!"

It was Professor McGonagall, the dean of Gryffindor, who came over with a serious face.

"Hello, Professor McGonagall." Sauron said politely.

Professor McGonagall nodded and said, "Harry Potter and Miss Granger, I have something to come to you. Don't be so sad - I just want to say something to you in the office."

Harry and Hermione left with Professor McGonagall, while Sauron helped Isabella into the auditorium hall.

The auditorium was a sea of steep black hats; each long table was filled with students, and thousands of candles shone their faces, which were suspended in the air above the table. The ceiling was covered with clouds, which made people feel very depressing.

At Slytherin's dining table, Ibicos and Draco had arrived. After Soren and Isabella took their seats, Ibicos and several others also sat down.

Professor Flivi took out the branch hat and triangle stool, indicating that the branch ceremony will begin this year.

"I hope we can join us this year because of Slytherin of the Crown?" Ibikos whispered, looking at the large group of freshmen on the other side of the hall. "I heard that some of the freshmen this year are very good."

Sauron just smiled and said nothing.

The branch ceremony was as usual, and all the freshmen were assigned to their respective colleges. The students of Gryffindor were careless as usual, while the new Slytherins, although some seemed a little nervous, were mostly decent, which satisfied Ibikos. Soren noticed that Harry and Hermione did not return until the branch ceremony ended.

At this time Dumbledore stood up and spoke, and the whole hall went through.

"Welcome!" Professor Dumbledore said, the glory of the candle shone his beard, "Welcome to Hogwarts in the new school year! I have a few words to say to you all, one of which is very serious, and I think it's better to make it clear before you are confused by this delicious meal..."

Dumbledore cleared his throat and continued to say. "You must know after they searched the Hogwarts Express. At present, our school is going to receive several dementors from Azkaban. They come here to perform official duties of the Ministry of Magic." Dumbledore paused and looked at the students in the hall. Most of them looked very bad.

"They are stationed at all entrances to the school grounds," Dumbledore continued. "I must make it clear during their stay that no one is allowed to leave the school without permission. Dementors should not be deceived by tricks or disguise - even in the Invisible Clothes." He added without expression, "Dementors are born to not understand what a request or excuse is. Therefore, I warn each of you: do not give them any excuses to hurt you. I expect the predecessors, as well as our newly appointed presidents of the Boys and the Girls Student Union, to ensure that no student will clash with the Dementors."

Percy, who was sitting at the Gryffindor table, sat up his chest again and looked around with an impressive look, which made Ibicos, who noticed him, smiled disdainfully. Dumbledore paused again; he looked around the auditorium seriously, and no one moved or made a sound.

“It’s more gratifying,” he continued, “this year, I’m happy to welcome two new teachers to our team.

"The first one is Professor Lupin, who agreed to fill the gap in the course of Dark Magic Defense."

There were some scattered and uninvited applause. Soren looked at Lupin, who was sitting in the teacher's seat, and didn't know what to think.

The dean seemed very unhappy, and Ibikos whispered beside Soren.

Snape was staring at Lupin fiercely, his thin face twisted, full of hatred. Sauron smacked his lips and sneered.

"As for the second teacher we appointed," after the less enthusiastic applause for Professor Lupin disappeared. Dumbledore continued, "Well, I regret to tell you that our teacher in the Conservation of Magic Biology, Professor Keitelborne, retired late last year to have more time to be with his remaining little naughty. However, I am happy to say that it is not someone else, but Luber Hagrid to fill his vacancy, and Hagrid has agreed to serve as a teacher in addition to the hunting ground guard."

Draco, who was sitting next to him, snorting, obviously unhappy about it. In fact, the Slytherins were not very happy. On the contrary, there was warm applause from Gryffindor.

"Well, I think the important things are over," Dumbledore said, "get to eat."

The golden plates and goblet glasses in front of them were suddenly filled with food and drinks. Finally, everyone started eating immediately, took the train for hours, and then went through the search of the dementors. A delicious and hearty dinner was indeed very attractive.

"Don't you have an appetite, Your Highness?" Ibikos asked in a low voice, noticing that Sauron raised his eyebrows and looked at the dishes in front of the table, but did not move.

"Nothing?" Sauron curled his lips and smiled helplessly. A large plate of French smoked fish was placed directly in front of him.

After dinner, the students returned to the dormitory under the guidance of their respective college leaders. In the Slytherin common room, Ibikos gave a brief speech to the new students and then asked them to go back and rest.

"To me, Connelly Forge actually sent a dementor to search." Ibicos said that there were no other students in the common room now. Soren, Draco and Isabella were sitting on several sofas next to him. "No news was received in advance, and it seemed that Forge was forced to do so."

"A trick," Sauron said, "this will only make Dumbledore more disgusted with him. Once a student is really hurt, he will be under much more pressure and accusations than he is now, even if he catches Black, and by then Dumbledore will not give him any support."

"My father said that Fudge is under increasing pressure in the ministry now. In fact, someone is trying to force him to step down from the office behind him." Draco said from the side.

"Interesting." Sauron narrowed his eyes, "Who is it?"

"I don't know who it is, but there are signs that it seems to be related to Batty Crouch." Draco hesitated for a moment and said slowly, "He is a very strong person and has a strong desire for power."

"Batty Crouch." Sauron muttered the name, his eyes narrowed more thinly, like a blade, "and getting more and more interesting."

The other three looked at Soren, not knowing what he was thinking, and didn't say anything. After a while, Soren looked at Draco.

"This year is Ibikos' last year at Hogwarts." He looked into Drak's eyes. "Slytherin needs a good leader. After Ibikos leaves, I hope you can take over him and tell me, you can do it, right?"

Draco was stunned at first, then nodded excitedly.

Sauron smiled satisfied, "You have one more year left. In this year, you have to learn to become a qualified leader and establish prestige. As for encountering resistance-" Sauronton said, "Ibikos and I will give you absolute support."
