Chapter 32: A Temporary Calm

Section 1

At midnight, the silver-white moonlight shines on the calm sea, shining with a dreamlike glow. The waves are constantly rinsing the beach, and the white fine sand moistens the sea water, cold and delicate, like a white canvas, without staining of dust.

The wind blows from the sea that is obscured in the dark, with the faint smell of the sea and the sound of the waves, lingering the world in peace and tranquility.

The black dragon stood quietly by the sea, and its black scales reflected a cold luster under the moon, as if it had not changed before, blending with the heaven and earth. The hideous dragon head was raised, and its golden pupils stared at the intersection of the sky and the sea, the deep darkness.

"What are you thinking?" The girl in a white dress came to her at some point, like a night elf.

"Nothing." The voice is low and steady, like the sea.

After a long silence, the dragon curled up its long tail and let the girl sit on it.

"You have something to worry about." She said confidently, gently stroked the cold scales. She looked up at the hanging moon and said leisurely: "I like to look at the moon. When I was very young, I liked to look at her quietly, quiet and peaceful, as if she belonged to me, and I also belonged to her. At that time, my father always said that I was like Ye Lan, blooming myself under the moon..." She did not continue, hesitated for a moment, and whispered: "Sorry."

"I don't care." He said lightly, curled up and protected her by his side. "All time is spent seeking strength and revenge, and blocking myself in a world that belongs only to me." His voice was low, with inexplicable melancholy, "I hated because of the death of my parents, and became stronger because of hatred, and became fascinated by revenge and power-"

The girl was a little worried and stroked the dragon's body comfortably, but she did not interrupt.

"My hatred has lost what I love because I have lost all my love, but for the sake of my strength, I have dissipated all my love and filled my heart with hatred to support me." He looked at the girl, "Slowly, I began to forget, and finally, I even hope that my love has never appeared, so that I can take the last step to pursue that ultimate power."

"Soren..." The girl seemed very worried, called out softly, and a faint light of tears appeared in her eyes.

"Fortunately, I didn't take that step," Sauron said softly. "I refused. Even I couldn't believe that I would refuse, but I don't regret it."

He looked at her gently, "There are people I want to protect in this world."

She couldn't help but hugged him and started crying softly. After a long time, she stopped and looked at him, "Disgusting guy."

He smiled, rolled her up with the dragon's tail under her exclaim and placed it on his back.

"Sit firmly-" The huge wings flapped, and the black dragon soared into the sky and flew into the deep night sky.

The dragon flew very fast, but she didn't feel any discomfort while sitting on her broad back. The lotus spread her arms, and the wind blew past her face, carrying stars and water droplets. This was an experience she had never seen before. The silver moon seemed bright and clear, as if it was right in front of her. Looking down at the sea, the vast sea was shining with silver moonlight, as if she was in a dream.

The wings were slightly closed, and the dragon carried the girl to pass by the sea. The dragon's tail swept across the water, stirring up waves, and was then rolled up by the wind flapping its wings. Under the moonlight, it looked like a silver ribbon.

Finally, the dragon landed on a low-high cliff. The white cliff stood suddenly on the beach, allowing the waves to gently wash over the sand under her feet. The silver moon hung quietly above her head. The dragon put away its huge wings, curled up, and surrounded the girl in the middle. Her golden eyes looked at her gently. She smiled happily and hugged his neck tightly.

The moonlight was silent, but it only reflected the figures of the two people snuggling each other for a long time.

My heart is at ease - I am my hometown...

In the small courtyard in the morning, the morning mist was covered with the fragrance of plants. Hibiscus sat on the bench, holding a copy of the "Prophet Daily" in his hand. Gabrie was still sleeping in the room, while Forbertell was fulfilling his doll duties conscientiously.

"Just a self-righteous little girl." The black dragon, who became a little bit lying on Furong's shoulder, said indifferently. "Harry, her, and the Weasley boy, are causing trouble at school all day."

"It seems you don't like her very much." Furong said with a smile, and grabbed a small piece of smoked fish from the table next to her, "Open your mouth, be good..."

"I'm not an owl." Soren was a little helpless, but he opened his mouth and ate it, and at the same time he gently bit her delicate fingers.

"Hmph." The girl snorted, blushed a little, turned her head and continued reading the newspaper.

The two were silent for a while.

"After a while, I will leave." Sauron whispered, the power gained from the magic circle was almost absorbed, and he would not have to remain in the shape of a dragon. These days he was by the girl, and he felt unprecedented ease and happiness. But he knew that he could not stop yet, and some things had to be done, for himself and for the people he wanted to protect.

"Yeah." She responded quietly, looking a little depressed.

Sauron didn't say anything, and didn't know what to say. After a long time, he whispered: "Well, I want a fish."

The girl was stunned, turned her head to look at him, then smiled brightly, pinched a piece of smoked fish and put it happily into his mouth...

A peaceful life is always the easiest to break. At noon the next day, a black owl flew into the yard with an envelope on his feet.

Furong took off the letter, and the owl flew away with her wings. Sauron curled up on the girl's shoulder, looked at the symbol on the envelope, and recognized that it was Ibikos' letter.

"Is this a letter to you?" Furong looked at the envelope that had neither address nor name, and turned her head and asked Sauron.

"Yeah." Soren responded, and the letter flew out of the envelope and unfolded in the air. Soren read it straight away without the intention of avoiding the girl.

The letter was short, with only one sentence: "After Fudge inspected Azkaban, Sirius Black successfully escaped from prison and is still on the run. The Ministry of Magic responded strongly to this."

After Sauron finished reading it, he didn't say anything for a long time. Furong asked in a low voice: "Is something wrong?"

"Nothing?" Sauron said calmly: "Blake escaped."

"Who?" Furong didn't react.

"Sirian Black, my godfather," Sauron said slowly, "the British Ministry of Magic believed that he was loyal to the mysterious man, betrayed his parents, and killed a group of Muggles and one of his friends."

"Do you think he is innocent?" Furong keenly heard the hidden meaning in Sauron's words.

"That's right." Sauron narrowed his eyes, "It seems I'm leaving early, sorry." As he said, Sauron flew away from her shoulders, turned into a ball of flame, and then turned into the inconspicuous boy.

Furong smiled and said she didn't care. "Remember to write me a letter."

Sauron walked forward, hugged her, and then disappeared suddenly.

At the Oak Road Old House, Soren and Ibikos sat in the study, talking about Black.

"Foge went to Azkaban to inspect. According to the entourage, Black was in good spirits and did not collapse like everyone else. He even talked to Foge and asked for the newspaper for the day." Ibikos said seriously. "The next day after that, Black escaped from prison. No one knew how he did it, and even the dementors had no clue."

"Newspaper?" Soren thought for a while, "Do you have the newspaper for that day?"

Ibikos was well prepared and handed Sauron a daily newspaper of the Prophet. "There is no special information, it is all irrelevant."

Soren looked through it carefully. As Ibikos said, Soren really did not find any useful clues. He couldn't help but frown and pondered over and over again. "How is the Ministry of Magic, or Fudge's attitude."

"Foggy was in a state of great anxiety, and pressure from all sides came in full swing." Ibikos raised his eyebrows. "He wants to cover up this matter now. The outside world has not yet received the exact news about it. However, I don't think it will be hidden for long, and the day after tomorrow, the matter will be completely spread."

"Foggy-Foggy-" Sauron muttered, "Does Dumbledore know about this?"

"It's not clear yet, but I think with Foggy's usual style, he should ask Dumbledore for help." He glanced at Sauron, "What are we going to do?"

Sauron shook his head, "It seems that Fudge will send all the forces to hunt Black. We are not suitable for action in this sensitive period. This will make the Ministry of Magic focus too much on us." He narrowed his eyes, "I have a premonition that Black will come to me."

Ibikos didn't say anything, just nodded. "Isabella has worked hard lately." He glanced at Soren, "She's using the method you said."

Sauron was a little surprised, "Please advise her, she is not me, that is not suitable for her."

"You know Isabella's stubbornness." Ibikos smiled bitterly, "She is following in your footsteps."

The two were silent for a moment, and neither spoke. In the end, Sauron broke the silence.

"By the way, do you have any arrangements for the next year?" Sauron looked at Ibikos, "Are you preparing for entering the Ministry of Magic?"

"That's the best way for me, isn't it?" Ibikos smiled confidently. "My family will be ready for this year, and so do I myself."

"The Weasley's Pasey heard that he became the president of the male student union. That guy's love for politics seems to be no worse than you." Sauron waved his hand, and a bottle of red wine and two cups appeared on the table.

"I have no interest in the president of the Student Union. As for Passi, he has enthusiasm," Ibicos poured a glass of wine and came to him and sniffed it deeply. "But without talent, the Weasleys have never been suitable for politics. My goal is the Minister of Magic, and I am sure that no one can stop me from becoming the leader of the Ministry of Magic."

"Well." Sauron also raised his cup, "Then, I want to congratulate our political star here."

The two clinked their glasses gently and then drank them all in one go.
